Am I correct in reading that the Millennium chica wanted 1000 BRL for ST? As in $500?

Arriving...
My Lufthansa flight arrived at Guarulhos airport around 7PM on a Thursday evening. After visiting an ATM machine and a nicotine overdose, I caught the airport bus to Praça da Républica. The taxi to my hotel was my first experience with the notorious São Paulo traffic... hell on wheels!
Checking in...
Based on forum recommendations, I’d made reservations for a double room to avoid any joiner fees. When I checked into the Mercure Apartments Central Towers in Paraíso, the friendly receptionist announced that I wouldn’t have to pay the double rate unless I actually received visitors. An unexpected bonus! Of course, I actually wanted to pay the double rate.
Dialing...
After unpacking, I set up my laptop on the oval table and started perusing profiles of São Paulo escorts. I’d downloaded hundreds of escort pages in preparation for this trip, but didn’t have time to make my final selection.
The collection of babes on sites like M Class is simply mouth-watering. I spent a few hours admiring pictures of goddesses, while checking their reviews on GP Guia. A few girls seemed to combine amazing looks with wonderful service. But when I dialed the magic digits... the phone was disconnected.
I totally lost track of time... When I noticed the clock and realized the futility of trying to call an escort at this late hour, I jumped into the shower, changed my clothes and whizzed down the elevator...
Millennium
I caught a taxi to Café Millennium, which some regulars visitors consider to be the best boate in São Paulo. The cover charge is steep (100 BRL), but at least it’s consumable.
The receptionist asked me for ID. I wasn’t carrying any. She asked for a credit card. I wasn’t carrying one. When she asked me how I intended to pay, I showed her some cash. That put a smile on her face and a key card in my hand. No robe, though. And no locker!
When I walked into the boate around 1AM, the place was totally packed. Even though there were plenty of girls, they were still way outnumbered by the guys. A couple of average-looking English-speaking girls tried to latch on to me, but I shook them off and started cruising the boate, checking out the talent. The quality was high, but nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely no better than an upscale Rio termas. And, of course, all the hot babes were occupada...
Since I had to meet the minimum consumption, I went into the restaurant and ordered myself a steak dinner. After replenishing my energy levels, I walked back into the boate and positioned myself next to the stage. When I exchanged smiles with a hot dancer, she started rubbing her ass and pussy in my face. Vai, safada! When she finished her routine, we spent some time dancing together before retiring to a sofa...
Natasha was a hot dark blonde with a gorgeous face and a cute, straight and pointy nose. But her most distinguishing feature was her right pinky... which was missing. When Natasha showed me how carinhosa a Brasileira can be, I ordered her a small bottle of wine. After a while, Natasha enquired whether I was interested in in-call or take-out. She seemed to like the idea of spending the night with me...
We spent an hour chatting and exchanging sweet kisses before Natasha got to the crunch. When I enquired about her presentinha, she asked for 1000 BRL. I offered her 300 BRL, the top of the range for a ST at Millennium. I was willing to negotiate, but she wouldn’t budge. When I repeated that I wouldn’t pay 1000 BRL, Natasha got up, offered me her cheek and walked straight out...
I hooked up with another hottie. She was unwilling to come to my apartment. I fooled around with a group of girls on the dance stage. They loved to play with my pocket rocket, but didn’t fancy accompanying me home...
Around 5.30AM, I called it quits and headed for the reception area. My final attempt to convince a girl to come home with me was also unsuccessful. When I checked out, I’d just managed to pass the minimum consumption.
I did have fun at Millennium. But since I didn’t make it into the end-zone, it was still a wasted night. Most of the Millennium girls seem to be unwilling to do out-call. I wasn’t interested in fucking the girls on-site. I don’t like to take pictures with a crappy compact camera. I don’t wanna lug a bulky SLR camera around a boate either. I guess boates are not my style. If only they provided lockers, like the termas... Anyway, it was a lonely ride back to my apartment. Still, there was one bright side – my room was cheaper.

There's this site advertising «coelinhas» (playmates) but I'm not sure if it's reliable. Expect maybe to be viticm of a bait'n switch.

I first visited Brasil in 2003. I immediately fell in love with the country. And more specifically with Brasileiras. I now am married to a Brasilian woman, conduct business there and own some property. I often see comments back and forth on this board among old hands and newbies. From my perspective:
1) Places like Bahamas and Foto are great. But very expensive relative to other readily available options in SP
2) Clinicas de massagem, combined with using the google translator to be able to read "test drive" information from the GPguia site are very good value and with proper research you will rarely be disappointed. An added bonus is the places are clean and secure
3) I would never touch a SW or even visit the down-town area. To me it is tempting fate in an already potentially dangerous city to spend time in an area that is known to have problems. That is my personal choice and not a criticism of those that like that type of scene.
4) Sao Paulo is a city of almost 20 million people. There is a very limited social safety net and as a result there is a large proportion of desperate people. They want to eat and taking what you have may help them to do that. Using simple common sense will probably ensure that you never have a problem in SP. (take taxis at night, don't walk around in areas where no people are evident, don't flash a wallet or alot of cash. I always carry a photocopy of my passport, one credit card and leave 20 or 40 Reais in cash in my front pocket that I intend to give it up if ever confronted)
5) I can get by in Portuguese now and speak French and English fluently; Language is not an issue as men and women always find a way to communicate where sex is involved. (and let's face it. It is refreshing sometimes to not have a woman turn around and say "let's talk". LOL)
To the newbies. Relax, be aware of your surroundings. And just have fun!

Posts: 61Good place in São Paulo
Jonathan76,
There is an eight storey place in SP near the Centro/República area you should visit. The address: R. Barão de Limeira, 134.
It has a wide variety of females, some are of the type you prefer. The more mature women are usually on the first floor. You can do the deed on premises, R15 for around 15 minutes, or arrange to meet them outside.

I do not enjoy viewing hardcore porn (not my cup of tea). But the idea of having a woman walk up to you and offer sexual services in a public setting can really enhance the excitement and will make me want to visit every cinema.

These are very trite questions, I know, but I just feel like saying it again
My question to the Supreme Court:
WHO the heck has the right to know which persons are engaging in private, consensual sexual behavior?
And whether or not one of them is getting paid for it?
WHO?
The whole situation is so ludicrous.

I sure hope this isn't a sign of the moral majority coming to Brazil. I hope this guy just forgot to payoff his friendly neighborhood cop this month. Here's the story in Portuguese for those who can read it. In a nutshell it says he was arrested for the always popular charge of racketeering and facilitating prostitution:
