    Chicas Friendly Hotel near Intercontinental?

Rather than staying in the old town (at the Palacio, or the Mercure) , would any one know of a chicas friendly hotel near the Intercontinental? I was told you can bring a friend at the Intercontinental, but a room at $250 per night is just too expensive. It seems there is a lot of action near Ave independencia and the Malecon, especially when the clubs close.

    Casa Teresa is a ripoff

I was charged 1300 pesos (30 USD) for 1 liquor and 2 beers at Casa Teresa; don't go there!

Best bets are Girls house and next door Sky High. The latter is quiet but the chicas are not as sticky as Girls house's and bebidas are cheap (e.g., 120 pesos for a beer).

Hotel Mercure is centrally located and a good choice for a first time visit to Santo Domingo. Just keep in mind you need to work a little harder to find the chicas in Santo Domingo than you would in Sosua or Boca Chica.

A good place to stay is the Mecure it on El Conde. Just got back form the DR yesterday and it was great. Most of the time I when to the Girl bar in the afternoon and pickup local at night. The Girl bar had gorgeous even early in the day and the one time at night they look even better but I was surpuse of how good looking you chane fine on El Conde. The two best looker I had came El Conde. It was just a great place. Next time I going to some of the other clubs and maybe Boca Chica.

The Mercure is 45 dollars per night with a good breakfast buffet. Rooms are small but very clean.

    Good luck

    SD Beaches

Last trip I noticed they carved out a beach just outside the airport on the route to SD. Not sure how much use it gets, but it's still worth the extra distance to go fully to Boca Chica.

In Santo Domingo there is no beach. The closest beach is in Boca Chica ( approximately 20 miles away from Santo Domingo) or Juan Dolio.

Sosua and Puerto Plata are in the north of the Dominican Republic.
