    Hey Doc:

    Not to bust you balls.

But did you read my post below???? I laid it all out for you. Oh well... Maybe you didn't read it in time.

I barely got my chica into my hotel. They do look down on it. I had to pay extra for her. There are a lot of chicas for the taking in the strip clubs.

And I can feel your pain on the train ride. I was only on it an hour and a half each way and that was PLENTY...

    Ok, it´s a joke....

But not really. This is a very conservative town. I toured the central plaza numerous times at night and the few times I saw a girl alone that I thought might be working she wouldn´t look at me. And I may not be Robert Redford but I ain´t ugly! I went to Mama Africas, some girls in there, but again no looks, it was as if I was invisible. I´m 50 and most people there were much younger, so that may have had something to do with it. Nice club, though, and great music.

I got some other options from you guys, which I appreciate, but I wasn´t willing to do the work for it. I had a whirlwind schedule and between that and the altitude I was in no mood to go out seriously exploring at night. Plus the hotels very strongly discourage guests. There are no love motels that I could find, and the massage parlors are really just that - no happy endings either.

Now read how I did Cuzco and Machu Picchu and do it any other way than mine. Mine was so wrong.

Fortunately the altitude didn´t bother me much. I got some pills in Lima called Acetazolamida (250 mg, one a day), and either they worked well or I´m just not prone to altitude sickness. I hit the ground running an hour after I got there with a city tour, then an all day (read: starts at 7am) tour of ruins the next day, then after 4 hours of sleep Machu Picchu the following and final day.

I didn´t get much out of MP, but it might have been different if I didn´t spend nine hours on buses and trains having to listen to¨"El Condor Pasa" over and over again, for a tour that lasted just shy of 3 hours. If I ever hear that song again I´m gonna rip someone´s eyes out, I swear.

So if you´re going to see Machu Picchu, go spend the night before at Aguas Calientes, get up in the morning, take a 20 minute bus ride to the site and enjoy it all day. It really is incredible, I just wasn´t in the space to really appreciate it.

I´m straying from the purpose of this forum so PM me if you want any more information on this.

Lots of tourists, lots of families. But a mongering town Cuzco is not.

Bro! All those questions are in the forum and EVEN google. You should really search around some.

    Those are basic traveling questions.

    Machu Pichu Itinerary

I will run down my attack on Machu Pichu for you guys. This may help some of you plan this part of a Peru trip. I got this plan from the loveme site that hooks up guys with chicas for big bucks. True love yea right.

Now this is a good itinerary if you want to climb Huyna Pichu which is the big mountain overlooking Machu Pichu. It also gives you more time at Machu Pichu before all the hordes of Japanese Tourists with their stupid cameras show up. It saves you from 4 grueling hours on the train in the morning and then 4 grueling hours on the train at night. That is 8 hours on a fricking train. No thanks.

What you are going to do is stay at Aguis Calenente the first night. This is the village below Machu Pichu. I stayed at Gringo Bills which is kinda expensive at $75 USD bucks but is cool built into the mountain. So you fly into Cusco from Lima in the morning. Then you take a cab from Cusco to Ollyanta. This is the last stop on the train before it goes onto to Ague Calentes. The train you want to get is the 2:55 pm train. The cab ride is about an hour and a half but is cool scenery going through the Sacred Valley. I paid $30 USD for this ride but you can get it cheaper. Gringo Bills can set it up for you. Also you need to get your train ticket through the hotel so the cab driver will have the ticket for you.

Aguis Calente is gringo village with a bunch of hotels. There is no P4P as far as I could see. The pool hall has a cute girl working their. Didn’t try anything with her. So you can wake up as early as you want and take the buses up to Machu Pichu and have the whole place for a few hours before the hordes of tourists show. I headed right to Huyna Pichu and climbed the sucker. It is steep and you will be panting. The view at top was disappointing because of fog. What can you do.

Machu Pichu itself really doesn’t do much for me. Just didn’t feel the seven wonders of the world vibe. But the scenery is awesome. A day is enough at MP. You will be bored by 2 pm.

Then you take the train back to Ollyanta and take cab into Cusco and stay the night in Cusco and get a headache from the high altitude. I stayed 2 nights in Cusco which was about right. I planned on 1 but extended it to 2.

I like Cusco. It is a cool place. Lima is so foggy and cold. Cusco you actually see the sun and feel warm. Mongering in Cusco:

Only mongered 1 night. Met a German girl at the Irish Pub. Didn’t have the patience for a non-pro so moved on. Mongering spoils you—not good.

Hit Nikko Club – No good. All fat and old.

Cassananova Club – Now I couldn’t believe the talent in here. Some real hot girls. It is expensive though at $100 US for takeout plus a salida of something. But talent was there. Screen for BBBJ because I got quoted CBJ from a looker. Then I passed. Move quick on your target here because they get swooped up for hours just drinking with guys who aren’t going to pull them.

Decameron Club. Mostly plain girls. I found a nugget here who turned out awesome. Spinner who was great in bed. I paid 200 soles plus a salida of something. It is a blur.

I also took the city tour that starts at 2. I enjoyed this meeting fellow gringos and seeing Cusco from above the city. Again the ruins will bore you but scenery awesome.

    Cusco Visit

    Hi AA:

I need some advice. I am planning to visit Cuzco and Machu Pichu during second week of November, probably November 14. My questions are:

What is the best way of travelling to Cuzco from Lima?

  9. #151
There were some non-pro clubs but we didn't enter.

Tickets for the train can sell out, so we bought ours a few days before through a travel agent. PM for details.

  10. #150
    Artisto Art,

Did you find or see any reg. non pro clubs? How about Mama Africas'?

Did you buy your train ticket the night before or online?

    Thanks

    Doc Bill,

A few nitespots in Cusco but no real action. Go to Sebastian; there's a dsico called Decameron Club, as noted below. You'll be the only gringo there and you better speak some Espanol. Going with someone would be a good thing as I question the area.

Once inside there are many girls (after 11:30pm). This isn't Medellin so don't expect much, but there is the ocassional looker. They'll start out at 300 soles, knowing your'e a gringo, but can get them down to 100-150, Plus exit charge of course, I believe 30-40 soles.

Not the swankiest place but if you gotta bust a nut in Cusco, it's an option.

I'd spend the nite in Cuzco, so you can adjust to the altitude, because you will get altitude sickness, most likely. I'm in pretty good shape and thought; 'no way', but it hit me for about 24 hrs. Best thing is if hotel has oxygen in lobby. Coca tea helps but nothing compared to Oxygen.

Book the train to MP asap as it fills up quickly. 4 price ranges: First Class - Hyram Bingham to back packer. They start from 6;:30am thru 9:30 am. It's 3-4 hour trip depending on which one you choose. Wear a sweater/jacket as it is freezing that time in the morning. The lower end trains have no heat. It was so cold we saw our breath! The train ride is spectacular for scenery.

If you want more than one day at MP, you can stay in Aquas Calinetes, the city at the base of MP. You can also stay at MP; There is only one hotel and it's 5 stars starting at $400 a night.

Cusco hotels will charge a joiner fee, up to $30US. Yes. Their way of saying they don't want you bringing girls back. It happened to us and turned into a 'situation'. lol

Cusco has lots of girls walking around and if you got the slightest bit of game I'm sure they would play. They would appreciate some taxi money I'm sure as most are poor.

    PM for any more info.

    Bueno suerte amigo!

I just made a reservation at Los Apus, $89/night. I just found it in my Moon Guidebook and it was highly recommended. They are at www.losapushotel.com. Let me know if that doesn't work.

This will be my first time in Peru, so I could use some help from some of you vets: How many days is good to spend in Cuzco? And what's the best plan of action: To spend time in Cuzco first or do Machu Pichu first? And how to get from Cuzco to MP (or vice versa)? Sacred Valley - should I stay there a day or two or just pass through?

And then, of course, there's the mongering. What's the scene like in Cuzco?

    Thanks, guys!

    Doc

Be interested in a good hotel if you find one. And any other info as I will be there end of August. Have fun at Machu Pichu and the chicas if there are any.

    Report on the Decameron Club

Copy of my report at CRT, FYI:

Quick report on Cusco. Take your Diamox - I'm sensitive to altitudes and it worked great, so much so that I had spare energy to try the local talent. Being that it is off season, or perhaps police pressure, there were 0 advertisements for chicas in the El Sol newspaper. But datamining a recent list from perutops, I made about a dozen calls; most of them were disconnected. The one chica that was still working, Karina, I think I scared off in my phone call to her with my lousy spanish. She was incall in a not so nice area of town. Another chica, whose name I forgot but has her own website, wanted $100/hr. No gracias. But she speaks Ingles.

So I went to the Decamaron, the highest end club in Cusco, which is a relative term. It's not bad, an OK place and not too loud so one can actually have a conversation with the chicas. Got there at 11PM, I was the only guy in the place. Saw three chicas sitting in a set of couches and went over to talk. Bought them a pitcher of drinks and we had a good time for about an hour joking and bullshitting (all in Spanish, no Ingles at all). Names, Valerie (too thick), Alaska (spinner) and another tall one, who is the prettiest, Lucero, a touch hard-core but great sense of humor. They're friends and all live together and hang at the club together, so they're easy to spot. Making a hard decision, I took Alaska because she's a spinner from Iquitos, and I like the selva/jungle chicas. I think we agreed upon 150 soles. She unfortunately was mediocre, but had a nice body, OK face and had an orgasmo that woke up half the hotel I suspect. Next time, I'd pick the taller one, Lucero.

Basically the Decameron is worth the trip, but you will have to do your homework in the place, as there are a lot of gorditas and the level of beauty is not nearly as high as Lima. 11PM at the earliest.
