Gentlemen, I owe you another hair raising update, and so I proceed,

The June-August period of '06 found Colombo awash with young 'uns from Jolly old England. At a Friday night out at Bistro Latino, (with my proper camera to boot) a few drinks saw me deeply engrossed in conversation with a lady in pink. We travelled alone and booked a single hotel room, because it was obvious the passion had grown during our previous weekend outings. As promised, here is the first account (of many to come) of some of my doings in my last years in Sri Lanka before my current (temporary) migration. DUDES, me thinks the fear psychosis around Colombo has permeated this Forum. If the LE chappies are intelligent enough to read thru this Forum and use the info in here to raid MPs, then this so-called war ought to have been over decades ago. I think we are giving way too much credit to the boys in khaki. I really don't think the powers-that-be want any of these places closed, because they are the biggest patrons of the vice trade in Sri Lanka. The LEs will close a place down either because the owner didn't pay the fees on time or in full (what with inflation, the rates must have gone up) or as a gesture to some religious affliation like the banning of loudspeakers, which has been rather rapidly overturned. Guys, the closing of JH and GH had nothing to do with this Forum or FS being provided. It was purely a case of the pay off not being paid by the owner to the powers that be. Simple!
