Mr. North, when looking for High Class, look for a horseshoe of green and yellow balloons around the entranceway, right on the sidewalk. That is my landmark. The sign is low key, but I can spot the balloons from the other side of the street, and then just turn around at the traffic circle, and park on a side street.
The first time finding it is always the most difficult. But IMHO it is worth the effort.

There are about 15 spots with TVs, and 5 with real girls. Of those 5, only 2 have any material worth while. The hotties are EXACTLY between Obregon and 12 de Octubre, ON Calle 52, on the west side of the street in a small door almost in the middle of the block. IN THAT DOOR, girls are 7. 9 s. The rest of the doors offer 1s. 6s at best, although one of the doors on 12 de Octubre supposedly has some good quality girls that never bother to stand in the door due to the amount of regular clients they have.

this week i travelled down from lake chapala to spend a few days in gdl (mid-week).

i stayed at the mission carlton, which is just on the edge of the central core. its a pretty standard 2-3 star, but its getting quite well worn. it was good being on the 12th floor, as it blocked much of the traffic noise, otherwise its an unremarkable hotel. there always seemed to be a few porters or front desk staff doing double duty as security. i didn't intend to invite anyone up to my room, so it wasn't an issue.

my first stop was across the street to med esteticas. 500 pesos for 1/2 hr, and i picked out a smiling, energetic girl who was a 6 (in my books). there were 5 girls to choose from (mostly 5's), and i was happy with the service for the price.

in the afternoon, i decided to try and find the 52 calle that coahuila spoke of. i have a car, and bought a detailed map from a gas station. coahuila mentioned that the house doesn't kick off till night, but knowing how poorly streets and houses are marked, i wanted to do a drive-by. i didn't have difficulty locating the cross streets, but could not find the exact house number. anyway, figuring that i was within a block, i planned to return later that evening.

next i ventured to find high class. i was surprised how much difficulty i had locating it. its on a busy road, and its not easy to loop around, because of heavy traffic and lack of places to pull off. i did find [CodeWord123] (god i hate that name). i decided to go into [CodeWord123], but reluctantly because i was so intent on finding hc. which i'm sure i must have driven past it a few times). anyway, at [CodeWord123] i was led upstairs and it was explained that rates were 500 pesos for the room, and 700 for the girl for 45m. 1 hr. we reached a stalemate when i was told that i could not see the girls unless i agreed to proceed for sure, and i explained that i wouldn't decide or agree until i saw the girls first.

eventually he led in 6 girls. honestly, i think i would have been happy with any of the chicas. they were are solid 7's, in their 20's and slim. i decided on a petite high 7, with long black hair. she was sweet little thing, who seemed to love sex (can't remember her name).

after stopping at the restaurant next door for a steak and a beer, i ventured out to boom-boom table dance. it was early (10pm), but with 1/2 dozen patrons and the same number of girls, it seemed pathetic. i sat down and had a beer, and shooed away the girl that the waiter led to my table. the room was freezing, and i felt badly for the scantly clad girls, especially a couple of the skinny ones who don't have much body fat. one beer was enough to send me packing.

next stop was back to the neighborhood with #52. i drove a loop around the area. there were 1/2 dozen figurines standing in dark doorways within a block of where the map matched coahuila's directions. the neighborhood also has a smattering of table dance places within a few blocks.

i parked a block away, and went in on foot. as i passed 5 different doorways with 'girls', it became clear that they were all tv's. i walked around the block and wandered into one of the table dance bars. there were a couple low grade women (although one girl had a huuuuge rack), and i polished off a beer before moving on. back on the street, there were a few druggies stumbling around, and a few groups gathered out front of bars, but i didn't feel unsafe. like everywhere in gdl, the cops were doing loops ever so often with their lights flashing. so, disappointed, i headed back up towards central to check out the street action and a bar. neither was very interesting (more tv's on the street), and titanic had a high sausage factor, so bailed back to the hotel.

the next day day i wandered back over to med, and picked out a different girl. very happy with the quality for the price.

i'll likely head back down to gdl next week for another overnighter (maybe this time i'll find hc), but i don't think i'll bother with the strip clubs or the street scene next time, and stick with the massage parlors / esteticas.

i also wanted to clear up any confusion i may have caused regarding an earlier post, in which i mentioned a trip to juniors. it appears that there are 2 clubs called jrs. (same owner? ) the one i visited is 1/2 between the airport and lake chapala, on the main highway, while i believe that another poster was referring to the one in gdl.

Well, on two hours of sleep after taking a redeye to GDL, I decided I wasn't up to the challenge of taking on an estetica just yet, so used the Internet site http://guadalajara.vivastreet.com.mx...ara-y-area-met that I discovered several weeks ago (pretty much a Craigs List kind of site.) I called Grecia, see pic from the site, who came over exactly on time, 90 minutes after I had called her. Her internet pic pretty much tells the story of the body. Her face was not a knockout, but she was quite attractive. 49 kilos, she says (and I believe), probably about 5' or 5' 1", and she looked about 17. She self reported as 20 and, despite a tight little body, she did show the signs of recent child birth (loose tummy, all else slim). Physically, I'd rate her an 8, and I was pretty pleased when she showed up. However, she had none of the charm I've come to associate with Argentine chicas, who I normally engage in 15 or 20 minutes of conversations before and after the action. Interesting, despite what I like in a body and face, I kinda felt like I was rolling around with the Mexican equivalent of a 17 year old idiot valley girl. BTW, she spoke no English, which is not an issue for me.

So, the experiment was half successful and half not. I did, in fact, get the girl in the picture. On the other hand, an inflatable doll would have had about as much personality. Maybe I'm too choosy, or I should start looking to the 26 to 30 year olds. We'll see where we go from here...

Coahuila, I haven't spent as much time in Guadalajara as you -- if you add it all up, maybe 9 months in the last 5 years. I've dated two women in Guadalajara that are as you described, though probably not as attractive -- really down to earth, good women that treated me well and weren't materialistic or superficial. Unfortunately, I guess I want the flashy hottie and am willing to put up with the B.S. sometimes to get her.

Anyway, as far as the average goes for very attractive women in Guadalajara, Strike is right, especially for those of us in our late 30's on up. I can go to Juarez or Panama City or just about any city in Colombia and get a ton more attention without having to come off like a rich playboy. I think the reason is because Guadalajara is more prosperous than most of the rest of Latin America, and it's reasonably safe -- if somebody has some money they can show it off without having to be shadowed by security, unlike, say, Mexico City or Bogota. Also, I agree with Strike about PFP. Only Mexico City, Cancun and Los Cabos are more expensive, in my experience. Everyplace else I've been in Latin America was cheaper, except I guess Buenos Aires before the devaluation.

I'm glad both you and Strike have started contributing to the Guadalajara board, and hope you'll continue to do so -- you know a lot more about the city than the rest of us that just pass in and out for business or vacation.

For the response I saw in your post you have assimilated quite well into the Tapatian culture. You have lived only for 3 years in GDL and you think you know already the Tapatian's costumes and way of life...... knock knock let me tell you something I was there for 10 years (I have Mexican citizenship by the way), and I can tell you are increideble naive because you think that those Tapatias want a chance with you without having a "hidden interest" (mainly economic)?? I wish you good luck really because in general with some exceptions the trend in Guadalajara passed along from mothers to daughters is to educate them to be with a man and try to catch him only if they can get something good in exchange whether is economic benefits, political or social status or other kind of "benefits". You think that they want a chance with you only because they like you?? That's what you think ....If you were in any other part of Mexico I could say yes you are right but not in Guadalajara dude. I hope you don't regreat those words in the future when your female friends find another dude of whom they can obtain better benefits (whether economic, social or political ). Just look at the malls, the majority of the girls dress and walk like they are in a fashion parade ...some are just like a bait waiting to catch a fish, some others are just acting cocky about their economic status..... in Mexico I have seen that kind of attitude only in Guadalajara. To say that there are as many SP's in GDL as there are in Monterrey or Mexico City is absolutly ridiculous... for example Monterrey have more than 60 strip clubs full of chicks. How many in Guadalajara?? No more than 10 ... regarding high end clubs in GDL there are the Mens Club and the Golden Club only two in which having fun will cost you an arm and a leg in contrast in Monterrey there are the Amnesia, the Metropolis Premier, the Prestige, the Obsession, the Poisson and many others.

I've talked with other people coming from other Mexicans states and other foreigners and many of them agreed that despite some exceptions from all of Mexico the Tapatias are the most frivolous and materialistic type of women within the country.

I suggest you to travel outside Guadalajara and outside Mexico to see other type of women so you can compere. Some Women in Eastern Europe are far so much prettier than Tapatias and less frivolous for example.

I just want to make sure you guys realize something. Calle 52 is in the Ghetto, and the installations in the places I mentioned are VERY GHETTO. Think the shitty hotels in the Zona Norte of Tijuana. The girls of high quality (why I don't know, maybe under 18?) but the place is ghetto and this is not where a gringo wants to be caught alone at night. Take a taxi and have him wait, or better yet, arrange to go with a Mexican in a NOT TOO FLASHY car if you can.

Also, another tip from a friend that's a stripper, Lipstick on Independencia has various girls working there that are apparently not 18. That's why they look so young. You may want to check it out if you are into that kind of thing, but remember, sleeping with them is wrong and illegal.

Here's a little tip from you that was passed on to me from my Mexican buddies that are into mongering. There is a little casa de citas on the street called Leñadores between Avenida Mexico and Avenida Vallarta. The street is tiny, only 1 block long, so you will either need a taxista that knows the are or a good map. It is within walking distance of Centro Magno.

This little Casa de Citas has older women (35 - 45) working in it, that supposedly give an exceptional service (some of them anyway). Cost should be between $300 and $600 pesos. Don't you dare pay more as you fuck it up for the rest of us gringos.

Once you are on the street, Leñadores, about halfway down you'll see an apartment on the lower story with a bunch of advertisements pasted to the door advertising lots and houses for sale. This is a cover up, knock and the door and a girl will open and let you in. Ask to see all the girls. Biggest selection should be Thurs - Sat between 2 PM and 5 PM. I haven't gone in, so I can't confirm quality or service, but I'm sure about the price and I can also confirm location as I have driven past it.

Thank you Tiny 12, you are absolutly right. I remember when I was there some guys told me that they were considering other options for example to "import" girls from Russia (or any other Former Soviet Republic) in order to get marry because they were sick of the superficial and materialistic Tapatias. Some guys eventually just gave up on Guadalajaran women because marriage for many of them is only an economic and social arrangement in which they have kids at the horrible cost of having a man around. This type attitude is very common in specially in large cities like Guadalajara if you don't have a fancy car, clothes, and tons of money you can forget having a girl there (either pretty or not) but if you are rich no matter how trashy, ugly or uneducated you are because you will have dozens and dozens of girls chasing you and if by mistake you run out of money the girls will dump you like an old shoe.

I remember for example a co worker of mine he was a 45 year old man and his lover was a beautiful 18 year old Guadalajaran blonde with the biggest tits I saw in a non pro there, she was with him obviously because he was a considerable wealthy man. I also knew that that girl offered guys money (money coming from his 45 y.o. lover) or allowed the guys to touch and suck her big tities in exchange for doing her college homeworks because she studied in prestigeous private college there and needed to obtain good notes. When I was in Guadalajara I didn't like that even though it's a big city the local sex market it's small and don't have many options available in contrast with other large Mexican cities like the DF (Mexico City) or Monterrey for example.

The prices that I saw in GDL high end clubs (Golden Club, the Mens) are absolutly outrageous. In high end clubs in Monterrey (Amnesia,Prestige, Obsession) prices are cheaper (even though they are expensive by local standards) and the quality and quantity of girls are also so much better. In some low end MP you can find some jewels and have full service for 500 pesos like in the infamous marcella (www.pompis.com.mx) and some mid to low end strip clubs like the one called "El infinito" you can have porn-star looking girls for 300 pesos. And in Mexico City you have the largest (and the best) escort market in the country (and the best strip clubs also), so you definitive have more options available.

Feel free to ask me about Mexico City or Monterrey (I'm an expert in massage parlors and escorts there despite I'm not an expert in strip clubs but I can introduce you to some nice fellas in the Mty sections who are experts in the strip club area there)

hunkrah, unfortunately, strike 69 in his recent posts is spot on when it comes to action in guadalajara -- it's there, but not worth writing home about.

it sounds like coahuila found something interesting on calle 52. but in general if you're looking for quality, forget about the street wh*res who hang out in front of cheap hotels. i've never found one who's attractive and also gave good service.

there aren't any freelancer bars that i'm aware of. yeah, you might find a few hanging around in bars, but there's nothing that remotely compares to something like cm2, nana hotel disco or cafe la from your neck of the woods.

your best bet is the esteticas. there are a number about 15 minutes (in taxi) from plaza del sol, including ones listed in my post just below to old guy. [CodeWord123] would be a good one-- it's convenient to your location, and better quality than most. gfe is a little harder to come by there though.

i enjoy the strip clubs too, but they're not for everyone, and you can spend a lot of money in a hurry in some of the higher priced clubs if you're not careful. some people have had decent luck with escorts, which is something i've never investigated. read the thread.
