Posts: 35Rockza is actually the biggest chain of strip joints here. Their branch in Yokohama is rather similar to Ueno or Ikebukuro. See rockza.net for details.

Posts: 35Actually, that is easier to find than FS, since the way the industry understands the law here, it is illegal to advertise in public for FS, but not for "AF". Doesn't make much of any sense. You find this "AF" advertised, mostly at a price of 5.000, as an option in all kinds of places we won't be easily allowed into. The Japanese shops actually use that instead of some Japanese equivalent. Maybe it sounds less drastic to them that way.It might be extra difficult to get service for that particular option, since having a Great Western Tool obviously makes the job harder for the provider. Maybe your best bet would be to become a regular costumer in some shop that has this on the menue (not an easy task by itself) and then start trying out all the options after they know and trust you.Hope this helps. Have fun.

I've used 10, 000 Yen a few times (before branching into "Japanese" DH) and have had good experience with them. First, as odd as it may seem, I wasn't intrigued by the name, but by the English on the Roppongi location's website. For this reason, it didn't bother me that the price came out to be more than 10, 000yen. I picked the 1st woman based on the description on the site and was very pleasantly surprised. The 2nd time, I asked for the same girl, but she wasn't available so they suggested someone similar who was a good substitute. In all cases, the guy on the phone has just asked me where I was and that the girl would meet me at a specified place and we'd go to a LH together. I must say that I only spoke to him in Japanese (while he spoke to me in 90% Japanese, 10% English)---but my Japanese is no where near perfect. The only time that the provider was lackluster was when my 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice were busy and I told the dude that I'd take whatever he had left---so I can hardly blame the place for that. All in all, 10K Yen is not a 'bargain' if that's what you seek and CB and AM have more disclosure (photos, english descriptions, etc.) to minimize the potential for disappointment due to appearance. So, as you basically stated, each person should stick to what works for them and we all live and learn.Cheers

Don't have a lot of time but I will get right to it. I tried the 10,000 yen shop in Roppongi last week. This dh has been mentioned here before but for those of you who are short on the Nihon go (Like me) here is a quick synopsis of my experience. Dude on the phone speaks no English. I thought that he should have spoken a little since the website is in English but whatever. The deal is that you secure the love hotel site and check into the room before confirming appointment. I told the guy what time I would be at the hotel and he said to call and confirm at that time. I did so and then he told me that it would be another 20 minutes. I asked for 30 minutes and he told me that it would be 22,000 yen. That explains the 10,000 yen name (not) I know it has a different price based for gaijins so no one needs to explain that to me. Anyways thought it might be fine to try someone outside of AM and CB for once. I tried to explain the style of girl that I wanted and I am not joking when I say that this woman was extremely tall for a Japanese lady (172 cm) and extremely old. I mean she was pushing 45 would be my guess. She smelled horrific and didn't want to pursue anything but getting out of there ASAP. BJ and hj and left asap. I learned my lesson. Not going out of my comfort zone.

Posts: 107Final Strip Theater Report (and map resource)
I'm just about ready to leave Tokyo and have completed my Google maps project on strip theaters in the Tokyo area. Since nobody can possibly remember the link (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0...8653&z=12&om=0), just go to Google maps (http://maps.google.com) and search for keywords like "tokyo strip theater" and the results should bring up my work, the "Tokyo Strip Theater Guide." I've personally confirmed the locations of all except for OS Shibuya, and have linked pictures to all the clubs on the list. If I could find the theater's official website I've posted that link in the placemark box as well as other details I could gather. I visted the Asakasua Rockza yesterday for the first show at 1:00 (Sunday) and was not as impressed as some I was with some of the other theaters. It is a much less intimate theater with a huge stage and a runway so long it is equipped with a little round subway car to carry the dancer off at the end of her set.In some ways, the Rockza reminded me of the late (and greatly lamented) Raymond Revue Bar in London, as every set began with a multi-girl showpiece, except that the Rockza version was "G" rated. One of the girls would eventually stroll forward on the runway and the final three songs would lead to the typical soulfully erotic poses that seem to characterize strip theater in Japan. Then the dancer would graceful step onto her chariot, and she would be transported slowly back to where the curtains would close on her nude but gaily waving form.I counted a total of twelve dancers in the finale, all of whom wore outfits consisting of wide satin ribbons that clearly indicated the panty-less state of all but two. What's up with the two who wore the black panties? I don't remember them from any of the performances. Is the Rockza theater a place where apprentice dancers earn their wings, or similar? The whole performance was pretty squeaky clean--not an inserted finger or even the hint of a dildo at any time. The audience also seemed to be much more reserved than the enthusiasts at some other theaters. For the record, my favorite remains the Mikado-Gekijyo in Ikebukero, followed by the Ueno theater. The streamers at Rockza were excellent, by the way.I took the chance while snapping pictures of NYNY and Champs to try the latter, and I'm convinced those two establishments must share the same management. Even the newbie card reading "No sexual intercourse!" is identical. I drew an older lady named Anna and had a great time with her, and appreciated the bigger tub mentioned by another contributor to this forum. For a non-FS monger like myself, it is hard to beat the price/performance for either NYNY or Champs, and both are completely free of drama regarding my gaijin status. And what a great way to warm up on a snowy day! For the sake of newbies, I posted the locations of those places (and a few others of interest) on a Google map as well (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...1786&z=19&om=0)

i went to the dx kabukicho strip show yesterday. they had a "paipan taikai" program, which means that all of the dancers are shaved. 5000 yen entrance fee to stay as long you have time.for those who might not be familiar with the rules, i will just summarize the announcement at the beginning of the show. costumers are to refrain from touching the dancers or their wardrobe, should not lean their elbows on the stage or place luggage there. any kind of camera is forbidden (including the use of cell phones (keitai) in the theater. don't talk when the show is going on. smoking is only allowed in the lobby.pay an extra 500 yen for taking a polaroid picture, or in the case of the last girl at that day 1000 yen. she sold 28 pictures in 20 minutes when i watched, raking in more than 1000 yen per minute. as far as i know, that is the highest earning speed in the whole industry. and she didn't even remove her dress until picture 26. then, she is doing adult videos, so the fans who buy those videos are probably happy to part with a 1000 yen for a smile and a handshake.if you want to participate in the polaroid fun, line up with the other guys.anybody interested in looking at the shaved ladies might want to note that ikebukuro mikado has paipan taikai scheduled for the ten days from february 1 to 10.have fun.
