So I was at Help again last night and sad to say, the girls had a union meeting and voted to raise the rates to 300 reals There's definitely some to be had for less but from the 10 or 15 guys that I've talked to the last couple days, everyone is paying 300. The power of the pussy is much stronger then that of the almighty dollar. The quality of girls in Help seems to be the same as always. There's some dogs, some average, some good, and the select bombshells. I saw probably 6 or 7 bombshells in the place last night and it was a bit slow. I was talking to an American guy that told me a girl quoted him 1000 reals for the night. He asked me if she was off her rocker and i told him yes. Funny thing, when I saw the girl, she wasn't even that good looking.

By the way, thanks to all of you for your comments about my former friend. Glad to say I'm having a phenominal time now that he's gone. I'm suppose to leave tommorrow night but I'm thinking of extending my trip an extra day. Yep, I'm caught again hook, line,and sinker. I think the fact that the girl I am with doesn't ask me for money everyday is even worse then just paying the 300 Reals and sending them on there way the next day. I saw a guy offer her 600 reals to go with him last night and leave me. She said no which in the crazy Rio kind of way means something. What, I have no idea. I'll probably just unload my heavy wallet right before my trip to the airport like I did the last time. Who wants to take all of those heavy Reals back on the plane anyway...

I had a hot blonde for 150 + 10 taxi last night from help, also before that I was quoted 200 by a girl I recognised from the photo gallery here, she is the one that someone asked "are they real or fake". I intend to session her tonight. So 2 out of 2 way below 300.

Couldn't find anyone who could speak English on the phone from CIAPlus so I called karlas, booked Cecilia for R100 for 2 hours, she arrived 30 minutes later. While she was definatly the girl from the website she was certainly not as I imagined her. BJ was perfunctional, she appeared to be so bored she even had to prop her head up, sex was very tight and she almost looked in pain, she said she was completa so I rolled her over with the intention of fucking her ass but the biggest, nastiest white head spot on her left bum cheek kinda put me off! it is interesting to read the spin that governor cabral and some of the media have put on this issue versus the way it will likely end up.

the actual owner of the land is deceased and apparently the inheritance of the property is in dispute right now.

help and several other impacted tenants of the land in question have valid leases that are not expiring in the near-term.

before the property can actually be expropriated the government and the owner (s) of the property must agree to fair compensation. i cannot imagine an agreement being reached without it going in front of a judge. based on the speed of legal proceedings in brasil i suspect the resolution of rightful inheritance followed by the compensation hearing will consume months if not years.

the government case would be really hard to argue. none of the businesses in question are operating illegally and there is no rationale for claiming that the government absolutely requires this particular property for the planned "museum".

that is not really all that important to the governor as he has already received favourable attention in the press. if the whole thing fades into oblivion he can simply point to the courts and say "i did my best".

this whole thing is simply another fine example of state politics "brasilian-style".

i don't know if you are old enough to appreciate this, but i am certain the very same thing happened with the drake hotel in vancouver back in the 70's. the dave barret government wanted seize the place and turn it into a government shelter but the property rights of the owners and tenants prevailed. the next time "the people" gave him a hard time about the strip bars and the prostitution on the vancouver east side, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, "hey - i tried".

30 years later the drake hotel is still going strong while the politicians are loooong forgotten.

Chingon, I guess that the appraised value of R$11,000,000 was done by an appraiser found by the Sate of Rio and not the owners appraiser. My guess is that the land on which Help is on is actually worth more than double that amount. After all, there are not many locations left in Copacabana with small structures on them where the potential of High Rise construction is possible. So it’s worth it’s weight in Gold. With larger condos on Av. Atlantica selling for R$500,000 and much more, a builder could clean up with a high rise building on that location. My guess is that this will be in the courts for quite some time. Also we seem to forget that Help itself has a long term lease and so does the restaurant next door. What are those business worth? Another R$11,000,000 or more? My guess is more than that. This will be settled in the courts not in the newspapers. It will take a long time to work through the mess the documents seem to be in.

So starting out with earlier in the day when I wrote about hooking up with the girl last night at Help that I was with on my last trip, the day got a little more interesting. The wingman or lack there of that I wrote about left a note on his bed like a teenage runaway saying that he didn't like what I was doing and he didn't think that this was what his trip was going to be about. So I now have a lovely 3 bedroom apartment on the beach in Copa for the next 3 days. We came in late and drunk from Help at about 5 am but whatever. He left owing me $600 for the apartment. I'm tempted to cancel his plane ticket since I did it with my FF miles and let him pay $1200 for a one way back to Phoenix. Definitely was way surprised to find all this out when I finally opened his door around 3. In regards to Help girls, seems as though after talking to my girl from last night, that the top quality girls are really taking nothing less then 300 Reals these days. She is a little different in that she owns her own house and everything electronic even I can ever want. She told me that she chooses who she wants to sleep with and if they don't pay what she asks then she'll go home alone. Knowing what i know about her, I believe it. Sadly I'll probably be with her for the last two days of my trip but I learned from my first trip not to become emotionally attached. It is difficult sometimes because she's not only beautiful but smart. I am also amazed at the things that guys give her. I went to her apartment and she showed me a new IPod, a Mac Book laptop, and a nice digital camera. All gifts. I'm learning more and more about these girls every day. We're actually going to Help together tonight in search of a 2nd girl to bring home. Actually her idea. Should lead to an interesting report for tommorrow. At this rate, nothing surprises me.

I too had my share of girls from Help and also had one I really liked to spend time with just as you are doing. My girl had a nice apartment near the beach with a flat screen tv and all kinds of stuff guys have sent her. These girls are all about business and they are good at it.

So my advice to you is DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. You don't need to bang 1000 garotas to be happy. If you find one you like, keep seeing her. The GFE is something very special when you experience it with a girl you like.

I have a buddy who has a girl he favors and he always spends plenty of time with her and travels to Spain, Italy and Brazil to meet her.

Help has been appraised at $R11 million. That's what it will cost the State of Rio de Janeiro to acquire the land.
Also there is a dispute about the ownership of Help.
According to City Hall, Help is/was owned by a Polish Nurse, who died 10 years ago. Her Heir receives a rent of $R77,000.
(The article does not state if that is yearly or monthly.)
The heir has a will in which Help will be donated to the Archdiocese of Rio, which wants nothing to do with Help.
According to the article, this should be concluded in 60 days.
BTW, they've been unable to locate the lawyers for the family.

Yeah I was in Help too a few weeks ago, and some of the girls were quoting R400 and told them i would pass, but I eventually found some that were more reasonable you have go around the club and approach different girls, there are takers for less including the hot ones!!!!

Man, I really feel for you on that BullShit move right there!!! Now That, is NOT the Definition of a Wingman! That's a Love Sick AssHole who left an old friend Hanging!!! Trust me that so called friend of yours will get his right back! All in Love & I bet in the long run she wont appreciate it! They'll end up breaking up & he'll look back to how he missed out on a golden opportunity of exploring Paradise!!! On top of that, realize he Flat out did a Friend wrong more so than anything!!!
