Not sure if this should be posted here or in the non-pro section. However, last week I visited two non-pro lounges in copa that were really cool. The first is Atlantico, one block south of Help on Avenida Atlantico. It is on the ground floor just below the Chinese restaurant, with great views of the beach. I was there on a Thursday night, and it had a DJ and a guy playing live bongos. They were really grooving. It was a cool scene, with alot of people dancing, and sitting on couches drinking. Alot of attractive garotas, who appeared to be non-pros. I think there was a $10r cover.

Friday night, I hit a lounge called Copa Cafe, about two blocks in the opposite direction from Help. It is also on Avenida Atlantico. It too had a lounge feel, but upstairs was a restaurant. The long bar on the ground floor was filled with locals and tourists. Not as much socializing here as at Atlantico.

Both of these places were great to chill out with a garota, have some drinks and chat. Atlantico was the better of the two. Hope someone finds this info helpful.

I also was at Erotica this past Saturday night, followed by La Cicciolina. Both were non-smoking, and it was great. I didn't even realize what was going on until the next day when I was not stuffed up due to second hand smoke.

Erotica was pretty crowded initially, but no real stunners. The best looking garota requested for $500 for TLN, I respectfully declined. As the crowd thinned, I then walked to La Cicciolina, which was packed at about 3. 4 a. M. There were some real lookers in there drinking and dancing, quoting $250r to $350r. This was my first time at this bar, and if this is a typical Saturday night, I would definitely repeat. Cost was $25r to enter, and it included two beers. The mosso was pretty cool too! My two cents.

I have to agree. For a first trip to Brasil and to get blown over at such incredible length by one average looking GDP and not a sausage about anything else you'd think they were in short supply.

All the stranger when the guy appears to be a natural linguist having picked up words such as "POMPOARISMO" on his first trip to Brasil.

Just something to keep in mind (especially for those like me who got the impression that this whole post just sounded a loooooooot more like a sales pitch rather than a report).

Pictures on her website are not very interesting. One would think for the prices posted, Holland Connection would actually provide real photos. Hell, I post them and don't pay nearly that much. LOL.

This was my first trip to Brazil and I had the best time I have had on a vacation ever. I flew out Friday and arrived in Brazil on Saturday. I immedidatedly hit the ground running. I first met up with Don and Ken of http://www.amerioca.net/ tours. Bubba rated their service highly and I must admit that I agree 100% with his recommendation.

What makes http://www.amerioca.net/ so great is that both Don and Ken are so down to earth. They hooked me up with a tour, picked me up from the airport, and shuttled myself and other fellow mongers around to various termas. However, what I found to be the most serendipitous was the fact that many mongers utilize the Amerioca office as a type of hub to meet, greet, and network with one another. Therefore whether you are an experienced hobbyist or a novice to Brazil, like me, chances are you will meet up with someone cool to hang out with.

But I digress-Later that Saturday night it was decided that a group of us should go to Monte Carlo terma. When I first stepped into the establishment I was a little taken aback. After about an hour of trying to compose myself I took a beautiful girl with a cinnamon tan back for a session. At the end of the session I could tell why so many believe that RIO women provide the best GFE service in the world. I was so enamored by my first session that I decided to session with another girl that sort of resembled Mila Jovovich in the face. This session was fantastic and it was from that moment on that I made a deal with myself to session with at least two girls at each terma I visited for the rest of the entire week.

Now I can not remember if we went to the Brazilian steakhouse after Monte Carlo of the following day but this steakhouse has some of the best meat I have ever tasted. What can only be described as a Brazilian form of dim-sum only potstickers are replaced with large portions of meat, patrons are encouraged to grab appetizers and salad from the salad bar just before you are bombarded with an onslaught of differing shish kebab meats that are brought to the table about every five minutes or so it seemed. They had lamb, pork, beef you name it. Best meat I ever tasted

Ok so after I stuffed myself we all decided to go to Help. Now I was excited to go to Help but after observing the atmosphere for a couple of hours Help just seemed like a place to go if you are still into the club scene and enjoy the thrill of taken women out of the club. Though this novelty can be entertaining I found the termas to have higher quality women that are better service oriented. That being said I picked up a girl and got her back to the hotel and then she wanted the money upfront. I remembered Bubba’s guide and after about an hour of wrangling I kicked her out.

Throughout the course of the rest of the week I went to 4x4 and L’uomo a couple of times, and even managed to hit up Centaurus. I would recommend staying away from Centaurus. What Bubba details about this place in his report are true and the girls are not any better looking than girls at other termas.

Long story short-I can not wait to go back. RIO is amazing. I highly recommend for anyone who has the money to take a trip down there and experience the culture.

When I started to read the report I got the impression a woman wrote it. Men and women write very differently, particularly about sex. Adding to this first concern, the particular poster has only 7 posts, all are about this particular vivian - another doubt is raised. I also note other members here with a good deal of experience, also have a doubts.

Adding to this, why would anybody bother to pay quite high rates for a 28 year old GDP of average looks in Rio. You can get much cuter, younger girls, with excellent service for less.

To sum, if it looks and smells like shit, it probably is shit.

This type of thing just doesn't happen in Europe. It is much more of commercial transaction.

You make a very good point there BB. I don't know if it's cultural or what. But it's hard to beat the GFE that you get from the GDPs. While it may all be just an act, they seems to have mastered the art of the illusion and, if only for a brief while, you feel like a King.

That element just seems to be missing the from the repertoire of the European girls. The Russian girls are on the right track but still, the post coital period still seems a tad clinical when compared to the girls from Brazil.

Maybe that's why we are seeing so many Brasileiras showing up in Europe.

A quick question: what is the best way to get to and get around Vila Mimosa? Local cab? (and how long does it take to get there from Copa?)

VM is roughly in the area of Maracanã stadium/Quinta da Boa Vista in Zona Norte, more or less.

For a newcomer, it's probably easiest to take a cab from Zona Sul, which should run more or less R$ 25.00 these days. Once you get out of the Rebouças tunnel in the Rio Comprido area, you are more than halfway there. Travel time depends on traffic conditions and which area of Zona Sul you are traveling from, of course, but should generally be 20 to 30 minutes.

Public buses and metro are another option. By metro, the station to get off would be São Cristovão. Take a look at this post by Sperto, which explains (shows) how to walk from there: http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...postcount=4656

As you can see from this map, VM is not all that big, so while you are there, there is no need for transportation, and just walking around is best.

For public buses, I think Christopherd has explained how to get to VM, but can't locate the info right now. Maybe Christopherd can repost
