Internet sms services do work, also some providers do, most not. My provider is researching the issue, they sad there was a disfunction/problem, will post if they reply or if I have a solution.

Text service stopped working from Europe into china today (Vodafone to china mobile). Is it just me or am i being paranoid OR have the government started blocking them again as they use to afew years ago?

If you want china history then Xian and Shanghai is a must if you already been to Bejing ,I will like suggest Nanjing ,Sheyang ,suzhou and Hangzhou to your list not the best mongering city but there are alot to see if you into china history .,Macau or CP you can skip no history there just P4p actions.

I am a 55+ east asian/ decent American citizen who wishes to sight see in daytime and monger @night.I am planning to be @Changping,Xian,Shangai in september.I have already been to Beijing and hongkong but not Macau.Intrested in museums and Buddhism.Any other places to Vist and monger?I am alone and learning Pimseleur Mandarin[Part 1]

In case it matters; I live in SH, know a wee bit about the place and places, speak enough Chinese to certainly get all around town and to even pin down the damages during the negotiation phase need be. That can be helpful.

Not that you maybe care, but I'm thank-gawd-I-came-of-age-in-the-70's, US laowei, tho' a lifetime of continental bikes & cars is a sure sign of euro mindedness. Not the idiot in a goofy hat jigging on the table (not that there's anything wrong with that, I'll urge ya on) but will certainly keep the ball bouncing. Hell I even like to sing. Well.
