I will be in GZ for the canton fair in Oct 2008 and booked the Grand Royal Hotel GZ ***** in Tianhe district.

Does anyone know wether there is any good place near this hotel?
Is this district generally recommandable for mongering?
Does anyone know a good escort or massage service for outcall?

Its actually my second time in GZ and I am not so familiar with it.

Stayed at Garden Hotel for $110USD and booked online direct with hotel. This is without doubt one of the best hotels in China. Absolutely first rate. I think the best thing to do if you don't want to go out hunting is just ask the bell boy or the hotel manager for advice.

They should speak enough english to get what you want.

This is a big city, if you don't know the area it is hard for you to find actions and most taxi guy don't speak any english.

You can ask the front desk if they have "yi tiao long" or full service be for you enter. I believe they are used to people asking them so its perfectly fine. Also alot of the massage parlours have rooms that arn't too discrete, so you can tell its probably a legit message place. The places that have closed doors, and curtains over the doors- well those places you might be able to negotiate fs or they might offer it.

If you have time to head all the way up to the Huadu district, check out the sauna at Vemance Hotel. Xinhua Jie and Jianshe Bei Lu. The sauna part is pretty darn good for 120 they have a big pool with all sorts of massage jets, cold free drinks (i sipped while in the water), free buffet meals, free poolside food, internet cafe, lounge etc. Then add 400 for the girl and 139 for the room to use for the deed. Also wanted get a price on van driver for 3-4 people. (cost inclusive of driver, van, gasoline-3 days- drive around GZ to sightsee, 8 hrs/day).

I live near Zhuhai and have contacts there, not much help for GZ.

I was 2 weeks ago in Guangzhou and as I wanted a massage, I asked the taxi driver to bring me to a good place.

He brought me to Carnival Massage (or something like that) where the massage was very good, but it turned out to be a clean one only.

After this, I jumped again in a taxi with this time the question more to the point: bring me to a massage place where they have all services. At that time it was already past midnight.

First he wanted to go to a place which was a little further away and then after some calls with some other people, he proposed to bring to another place closer by where they had a sauna with all amenities I requiered.

He dropped me off at HuaShan Bingguan (I don't know the address but it is not far from Huanshi Dong Lu) and I was brought to the top floor where a KTV was and where I had to wait. They told me the fee for the "sauna" rooms (because that is what it was) was RMB 300 incl. the girl (which you could choose from a line up), but due to the fact it was already so late no rooms were available anymore.
I was offered to take a girl out, but as the hotel where I stayed is strict on visitors after 11, I had to decline it :-(

The pricing really sounded to good to be true.

Anybody had experience with this place? And are these really the prices?
