Has anyone been to Bomboa in the daytime? I am looking for some daytime action when I arrive. Bomboa site says they are open at 2pm. Wondering if anyone knows what it is like.

Also does anyone know any other spots like this open during the day? I prefer this atmosphere compared to looking at photoshopped pics of girls in clinicas.

Yes they are opened at 2pm but all the girls don't show up until 3. You may want to go to there later before 8pm so if you take a girl out from the day shift you won't have to pay an exit fee since she's leaving anyway.

Normally, I would adopt a more sarcastic tone and say RTFF (Read The Fucking Forum) but since I am sitting in the airport waiting for a flight and a little bored out my mind, I'll take a stab.

Both Termas and Clinicas are fronts for sex. They hide lightly behind a thin veil pretending to be spas where you can go for a shower, a steam and a massage. In the Termas in Rio, you are issued with a locker and a key. The key serves as your number for billing purposes. You are given a minimal bath robe and some flip flops (plastic sandals). Once you have showered the road dust off, you can go to a boate (bar) to a get a drink. The better ones offer a full bar. In the boate there are anywhere from a few to a few dozen girls who are wearing very little. Usually some sort of bikini or other minimal covering. The idea is that you come and sit have a drink and interact with one of the pretty girls. If you find one you like, you can take them back to one fo the several rooms or cabins that they have on the premises for a fixed fee normally charged by the 40 minute or one hour session.

The Clinicas are similar (although I must confess I have never tried a SP Clinica) but differ in that there is less of a bar atmosphere and a little more spa-like (or so I have been led to believe). I also think that in the Clinia, you have less opportunity to interract casually with the girls and must make a selection when you arrive. Sounds to me like a Russian Salona.

So that's basically it in a nutshell. I am sure my fellow ISG members can add additional detail and if you scour the forum you will find much, much greater detailed description. I should also mention that these girls are pros. They know what they are doing and are very good at it. Unlike a typical boates where you may find a gorgeous creature who is not very skilled in the sexual arts, the girls at Termas and Clinicas know what they are doing and if you ask up front and make it clear what you want, will fulfill your desires.

Now I have heard of their being swing parties, which we wouldn't be opposed to (have no idea how to find those), but we are looking for a more one on one experience. I am guessing being upfront is the best way to get them to come over to our hotel, but any information would be appreciated.

I know in Rio there can be issues with having someone come to your hotel room, but is that the case in SP...haven't heard anything specific, just thought I would ask.

Don't forget about the budget spots on Consolacao: The Relax Bar, Deusas and many others lining the street. They are less than 5 blocks from Rua Augusta.

I'm going to spend only 1 night in SP before I catch a flight up north; and I don't know SP at all. Can anyone please advise where the main street action is?

These 2 streets (Consolacao and Augusta) look like very long streets. What part of them is the main street action?

I'll be travelling on a low budget, so all other expensive places I've read about in this forum are off limit... :-(

Also, are there any backpackers /budget hotels in this area? Any names?

From what I've read in the ISG Uzbekistan section, nightlife in Tashkent is DAMN good .. I have high expectations that I should live the kind of old-style debauchery like in Russia or Ukraine in the happy early 90ties .. or Brasil in its heydays, unfortunatly now loooong gone and never-to-be-seen-again.

No problems. I haven't been in Sampa for almost three years now and believe me, I really envy you to be there. It's the most desirable megapole on earth for partying ....but also unfortunately currently one of the most financially suicidal city for mongering.

Anyway off to Tashkent (Uzbekistan) in a few days, for a six weeks stay. With a bit of apprehension, yet travelling beyond the mass-service mecquas as german FKKs, Copacabana, Pattaya, DR or TJ isn't it the very core of the pioneer elite monger "work" ? (the kind of work you do in provincial Venezuela)

Be very interested to hear how you make out in Tashkent. Although I am in Rio now, I am headed to Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) in September. From what I can gather, the the mongering scene is pretty limited in Ashgabat. Luckily I have a few nights in Moscow on either end and possible side trip to Kiev as well.
