Ok, here is the truth, Walmart Gringos aka NMG's, LOL, can visit Colombia, but why? . Without the language, the girls want nothing to do with you, Imagine a thai girl coming to the united states, she speaks no english, how in the world can you possibly communicate. I have many African American friends who have visited Medellin and had a wonderful time with women who are non-pro and pro. Some of these guys actually only speak elementary english. One buddy from Miami married a beautiful Colombiana attorney and they have been married 10+ years (2 beautiful children). They spend 6 months in Miami and 6 months in Medellin.

I have heard that the chicas are not interested in the brothas in the barrio. Also agree that the language is the key, but it is not the deciding factor. My own personal experience in Costa Rica has taught me that. I have an intermediate level ability to speak Spanish and I understand 80% of what is being spoken (grew up in barrios of N. YC.) I have picked up many non-pro and pro chicas in Costa Rica, this would include Colombianas. They might be telling me what I want to hear, but it is common for the chicas to say that they love "Chocalata". The bottom line is to carry yourself as a gentleman and remember that it is more about the size of your wallet, then color. Yes, you will run into chicas who only want white men. In my experience those are fewer in numbers then the chicas who love Black culture and Black men. I am literally Denzil Washington when I visit these countries. I am sure that there are women who only want white men for status and financial reasons. I have had women approach me on the streets of San Jose, Costa Rica. I am average in looks and size, but I have a pleasant personality and I love to smile at beautiful women.

KOS, I understand not wanting to babysit grown men, but I think helping out one another once in awhile is the right thing to do. You never know when you might need assistance from someone else.

In regards to the "AFRICA" comment and name calling. Are you angry about something? Again, I have African American friends and family who are loved in Africa (Ghana, Kenya) as well as Phillipines, Japan, Ireland, Germany and most Latin countries).

Racism comes with the territory. We all know this and deal with it daily. I have met more good natured individuals in my travels. I do not need you to tell me about something that I have experienced for 30+ years. There are so many beautiful chicas out there. Why would I want to be with one that does not want me?

I can not speak on the safety issue in Medellin. I do know that I have White, Asian and Black friends who have been visiting Medellin and other parts of Colombia since the mid 90's without any sort of incident.

If you are a fat, out of shape, balding, no game, no style, with limited to no spanish speaking old gringo, or any combination of the beforehand mentioned. Do not think it will be a walk in the park to pick up any "hotter" non pros just because you think your a gringo and that gives you some kind of "edge". Because you are dead wrong and will be sorely mistaking and you will get very disappointed. This goes double in Medellin, where these girls have great style, and walk around with their "shit doesn't stink attitude" especially in the South, Poblado, Tesoro, Oviedo, Parque Lleras, Circus, Mangos area were these girls are playing 2 or 3 guys at the same time and do not need our dollars. They have more money coming in from all areas than we do LOL. Wow, some serious action going on in Colombia. I keep telling you guys, Colombia is no place for the Americans, it is too dangerous for you Americans here. I am an American, but from a major urban city, so the things that go on here are normal, but for the average American, stay away and go to Costa Rica, it is better for you their.

The mansion got jacked by a prepago and her secret boyfriend. I tell you guys, these prepagos that visit the mansion have boyfirends back in their barrio and maybe even kids, so keep it all business like. These girls are con artists preying on you, you are not preying on them. It appears that a prepago had her boyfriend jack all of you for your money and passports. Well, my warning is to stay away from Colombia, especially Medellin, because the Gringos are targets for being robbery. They are going to get you one way or another. It is best if the gringos stay away from Colombia, why do you think the united states does not want us here.

If you do not speak fluent spanish, are not street smart, and do not fit in with the locals, do not come to Colombia. I hang out with mostly locals because I do not usually like the gringos that come to Colombia, so strange.

Safety also in the city is important. Many people in the city's in Colombia are resorting to pickpocketing you for your valuables. They go me once, but the items that I lost had little value.

Colombia is not a place for beginners, rather experienced people who have been in other countries for many many years. These colombian people will screw you fro money in a heartbeat.

Guys, in Colombia, there is little protection here, the police really cannot do much to help you out if something happens. They do not have the technology or the money to investigate crimes.

Latest problems are arising on the road from Rio Negro to Medellin. Guys on bikes are tracking you from the airport and use a radio to inform others on the road ahead to stop you and rob you of all your valuables. If you do not give them the money, they will kill you. Its a new business of tracking the stupid toursit in the taxi until you go thru the mountains or hills in Medellin, and then they get you their. The police know whats going on, and are stopping all bikes in the mountain region. Be careful on your ride to the city from Rio Negro. It is dangerous. Also in the city robberies are rising and crime is rising. Be careful.

Bogota, be careful on the outskirts of the Zona Rosa. Two girls will come talk to you when you are walking in the zona rosa, and another guy will come up from the other side of you and try to steal your items, they tried it once with me, but I knew what they were up to. If the girls come up and talk to you, be wary.

Although all these houses are hunting for gringos, if you speak no spanish, then the Mansion and VIP are good for you, if you speak the language, no need to go to these places. You are paying a premium for speaking no spanish, that is the trade off.

Remember, if you stay at any of these houses, you will have a bad name, the locals of Poblado would think you are a prositute hunter, remember that, it is not cool. The girl will never be serious with you, that is why these places are not for me, the regular girls will not very accepting, and will not have respect for you, unless they are from the north. But no local from Poblado, envigado, or Laureles is going to hang with you.

I am a Gringo that wants a small hotel or "apartahotel" for an extended stay in Medellin. I want a place that won't hassle me when I bring in pros and prepagos. Also, I want a place where non-pros that I date won't feel uncomfortable because every other woman in the hotel is a pro.

The beginning of the end of the mansion has arrived. The titled owners of the house have been notified, and the DAS will threaten to seize the house until operation is closed. You [CodeWord140] off DAS, they are going to shut you down fast. The end is near, do not give deposits to them in advance, you could end up with no reservation and out of your deposit.

You cannot screw around with colombians, they will shut you down fast. Well at least the Medellin Executive Hotel will make money off of the craziness of the mansion. Martin, who I think owns the Medellin executive hotel, is a pretty stand up guy, I think he is the owner, I think martin is a cool guy, and will do well, he is pretty down to earth and a smart realist business man.

Also, guys, anywhere that caters to americans, you are paying double the price or maybe triple the price, be careful. If you can speak spanish, you can stay alot more time in Medellin for less the money, just my advice.
