I'm planning to rent an apartment for couple of weeks I Jaco Beach. Can anyone tell we the security facts for bring a chica back to a rental apartment. Are these condos patroled by security people that only let apartment guest in?

We are planning to use Vistamar in Jaco.

I've always had good luck at Beatle Bar, leading me to think I was a good judge of talent there or that all the girls were good.

WRONG. A couple beers, pick out a girl after talking to half a dozen, make it very clear I can't have sex without kissing. Back at the room, a little bit of kissing, then: What, you no want sexo? Gave her some money and drove her back. A couple beers, pick out another, but bad vibes walking to the car. A couple beers, pick out a Dominicana, good English, hot body, understands the rules, but just so-so sex (plus fake boobs, which I didn't suspect (beers)).

So I bring her back. Have a beer, make a plan for next night (too old for more than once a night).

Driving back to my hotel (almost a whole mile) the police stop me about 100 yards north of beatle bar and do a breath test. 06 so I think I'm good, but they say the max in CR is. 049 and start doing paperwork. They start by saying its 20K ($40) plus there's a 40% tax on tickets for "los ninyos" but as we bullshit about that's almost as much as a chica and I don't have to drive very far, they lower it to 10K (a pretty cheap DUI except I didn't feel very Influenced). While they were doing the paperwork they tried to stop another car, which drove right by, and they just shrugged.

Next night I went with a sure thing Panamanian I knew from previous years and all was well.

I gave Hertz the money for the ticket (they looked at it and said: I was really lucky, sometimes we have to come and un-impound the car and it takes days)

Advice if you are driving: make a mental note if there are police north of beetle bar. 049 isn't hard to get to, especially on a bad night. If you're stopped, be cool, it might help. But it might work to drive past as well, they didn't seem set up to track someone down.

The legend of this road is about ten years old now. I heard about it when I first started going to Jaco in 2002. Construction has started and stopped on it dozens of times. With the boom in construction in the Jaco area and all the American companies(Wyndham, Ramada, etc) building there, construction is back under way however from what i've heard it's still 2 years from being completed. Hope this helps.

FYI, I was considering buying property near Jaco about 3 years ago. The road was supposedly 2 years from completion even then. Some things never change - and I'm glad I didn't buy the place I was looking at - an upscale Dutch development about 4 miles up the road from Jaco.

(I have a feeling you're going to critique me as well, but that will only serve to prove my points.)

Side-note: I apologize to other members who are in this Jaco sub-forum hoping to get hobby-relevant information and are reading this instead.

Myself and many other forum members have had plenty of GFEs with service providers - just browse the forum long enough and you'll find those reports. It sounds like you never have, but don't give up - they are out there! Most of us have learned that in order to get a GFE you also must, in a sense, be a BFE to them. Kindness, respect, courtesy, generosity, etc. Granted, that will not always result in a GFE, but it's hard for me to imagine getting a GFE without demonstrating at least some of those qualities, to some degree.

In fact, and this apparently has happened not only to me, I have had situations where the girl really does fall "in like" with me and then I feel bad because I can't be in a relationship with her (i.e., spouse would not approve, and most certainly would find out eventually!).

Anyway, I hope this hasn't sounded harsh - - did not intend for it to be.

It get me a bit stressed to ask everytime if she likes my milk or not or if she is into anal, cause many will answer no, but it is true that if they answer yes, the chance to get GFE are much much higher.

My little head is the same as yours, at least for the first week of my holiday, later I get more wisdom and usually it is when I have more chance to get GFE.

However for 2 nights, I agree it is hard to get real fun. But I think stay there about one month can increase a lot the chances.

Good that the prices of food are so cheap.

My overall feeling of Jaco is a good one. People are nice, including the couple of policia that I encountered. The food is good, and mostly very reasonably priced. Grilled red snapper meal on the beach one night was about $10. A real estate agent and I had 2 seafood meals and 4 glasses of good wine, and including tip, was $40. Beaches, activities, accomodations (variety & pricing) are all good. Just a few kilometers drive toward Quepos you can find undisturbed wonderful beaches with hardly anyone there (be careful of the rip currents if you swim alone, though!).

I think YMMV, as with the girls. Some people love Jaco, some don't, and while I'm not in love with Jaco, I could easily and happily stay there for a week or two.

I am sure you (even me) can have GFE there. It is all a matter of luck, I think. In the short time with a girl in a bar, you just cannot know what you would like to know. You cannot tell the future and predict the outcome. You cannot ask (unless you are fluent in espanol) all the questions I would like to ask. Even if I was fluent, I would be unable to ask things like, "Is your p*ssy very, very clean and smell and taste nice?" Even if I could, chances are the girl would still simply respond, "Si! Si! Delicioso!" Because she is still hoping to "get the sale" and "make the deal". And this is not a business transaction that is "money back guarantee".

So, for me personally, I love the idea that girls are easily available there, but my success ratio there is zero for two (0%). Perhaps if I was there longer and tried out more girls, my ratio would improve. But at what cost? I think if I was back in Jaco, I would go there convinced that I would not try to get a girl. But I also know "little head" would argue once again, and win, and I would get someone. However, the next time I would insist that the girl only do BBBJ to completion, and might even negotiate it being done in the car ... in other words, drive to some nice overlook where you can see the ocean, the stars, hear the surf, roll down the windows for fresh breezes, and let her go down on me, however long it takes. That would avoid all the disappointment with potential bad hygiene, sensitive fake breasts, etc. But at the same time, I would get an experience that you just can't get in the States.

Night 1 was a Friday night, so this report is for Saturday. I mention it for those who might be trying to discern subtle differences in experience based on weekend vs. week nights.

I decided to spend 3-4 hours in a local place, La Cantina, where "real" girls show up. It's at one end of the main drag, nearest Best Western, and near the divided 4-lane boulevard that takes you back toward Los Suenos. I was the first there, around 7 PM, to have dinner and get in good with the staff so that by the time local girls started showing up, I'd appear to be a known quantity.

But in total I got no interaction there. Maybe it was because I was 'gringo' or maybe because of the language barrier? But in addition to that, or because of all that, I got virtually the same reception there (in terms of eye contact, etc.) that I would get at any bar or restaurant in the States. But I was enjoying talking to bartenders and waitstaff. Even went back to my hotel and brought back to them my two latest copies of Playboy, which they totally appreciated. That PB subscription was one of those $12 for a year promos, and I always spend 3-5 minutes paging through them, then give them away.

I left La Cantina around 11 PM and thought just to go to hotel and call it a night. Would have been the best decision. But you know how 'the little head' likes to argue with the big one, and somehow has a way of convincing that the thing to do is continue the hunt.

So I make a U-turn, head back toward the main drag, pass La Cantina and 100 meters ahead am waved to the side of the road by Jaco police. The guy speaks fairly decent English; asks me if I've been drinking - I say No, of course. Asks me what I'm doing in Jaco, and what brings me out this late. I told him I really just came down for the weekend to meet with ReMax agents (which I did) and that right now I just came from the hotel and was looking for something quick to eat - maybe Subway was probably still open. He asks where I'm staying, and I told him Pacifico (the one high up on a hill) and I show him their business card, plus my US drivers license and rental car information. He asks for my passport, and I don't have it, explaining it's in the hotel and I could get it. He asks me when I'm leaving [next day] and says it's a 13,000 Colognes fine for not having the passport or a stamped copy thereof. He explains I would pay it at the rental car agency when I turn the car back in [San Jose]. For some reason, though, while we were talking, he decides only to give me a warning, and off I go. He was actually quite nice. I thanked him and said I'd probably be passing back by shortly.

At this point my 'big head' is now reinforcing the argument to call it a night. Little head is stubborn, though. I stop at Subway and see some hot girls standing around outside. So I go in and order a sandwich, then something possesses me and I order 3. I go outside and try to chat up the girls - they're slightly amused but don't show any interest. They were taking a break from the upstairs dance club (I forgot its name already). The stairway has a sign that says "Exclusivo" but don't let that fool you - just pay the 1000 C (about $1.80?) and you're in.

The girls aren't interested in the sandwiches, either, so I head back to the hotel. Traffic stop - different cop - I told him I'd already been stopped on the other side - the other guy sees me and comes over to greet me. We chat for a second - I decide to offer them the sandwiches and they politely accept. Off I go.

Big head is saying for the third time, "I told ya so! Now, let's go get some sleep." Little head wins again - I make "the loop" so I don't get stopped by the police yet again (no sense tempting fate). I go upstairs above the Subway into the dance club. Looks like any other - overwhelmingly loud music and not even a type I enjoy listening to, plus a bunch of local guys lining the walls and bars, watching girls dance with each other to avoid having to deal with any of the guys. I don't stay more than 3 minutes, but they stamp my hand on the way out.

I wandered over to the Casino - the one near the beach - I go in there and it's pretty empty, actually. I notice there's a few girls who all look like they could be taken, but I'm really not interested in any of them or having to "engage".

Finally, back to the Beatle Bar, it's around 1 AM and little head finally wins: just quit wasting all this time and go get a girl ! What's great about being out of the US is that when all the "regular" girls ignore you and you feel dejected or rejected, an hour or two later you can be banging some girl who is just as hot (and usually hotter) as any of the "regular" ones you would have liked to have met earlier. You can walk into a place where you are the one suddenly who has to choose between lots of admirers, not the other way around.

Beatle Bar closes at 2 AM, so the place is mostly empty, but there's probably 20-30 girls still there, some 5s and 6s, but still several 7s and maybe an 8 or two. Hard to tell. The place is purposefully dark - even after your eyes adjust you have to be within 2-3 feet of a girl to know what she looks like. At that proximity she almost reserves the right to reach out and grab your arm to "reel you in".

I walk quickly around, trying to check out girls without letting them know I'm checking them out - I act like I'm looking for a friend (well, in a manner of speaking, I am!). I finally meet another trio of girls, and pick the one I surmise is most "interested" in me but she's kind of shy ... I think she's the hottest of the three, and she knows it, but she doesn't want to appear aggressive...she wants her sister (?) and her other friend to at least have a fighting chance, but in the end, the guy will decide, right? And of course I picked her, and she seems happy. Short time, $100, BJ w/ no condom is the primary negotiation. I'm thinking that time of night I should get a better deal, but little head and big head are in agreement about one thing: It's late, I have to wake up in the a.m., just get it over with! I make sure with the "leader" of the trio, the one whose English is best, that my chosen partner is very good at BBBJ, and of course she assures me that she is. She speaks in Spanish to her sister, and the chosen girl is nodding in agreement and then looks at me affirmingly with a nice smile, "no problem, no problem!"

I decide to take the circuitous route back to the hotel, wanting to avoid the traffic stop. They moved the stop! I get waved over again - same guys notice it's me (they don't ask about the girl - thank goodness - I'm sure they know the deal). Original guy comes over and tells me Thanks for the sandwiches, they were really good. We chat for a moment, then I'm off again.

Back at the hotel, and I'll cut this short, I do get the BJ w/ no condom (even though surprisingly I have to remind her of the terms), and she's "ok" in that department, but I'd grade her maybe a "C". Exact same boob-job story as the girl from the night before. I speculate, "maybe they all go to the same doctor in the Dom. Rep." She seems at least to be getting into it, which I'm happy about, and she wants to fuck. I ask her if she's sure, that it's really not what I'm expecting, and she really seems to want it, so I comply, being the gentleman, and on goes the condom.

But - and here's what killed it for me - in addition to wearing a desensitizing condom, and being late (tired) and having had an evening of alcohol (even w/ lots of water in-between): personal feminine hygiene. Not sure I need to say more. Once I was 'in there' ... well, put it this way: a strong, raunchy odor is an ultimate turn-off for me. And I'm thinking, "Ok, I know these girls are living in $15 per night cabinas, sharing it with 2-3 other girls, and sending money back home to their families & sons/daughters, but at $100 short-time, can't they at least afford to stay thoroughly clean and sanitary?!"

So, that's it for me ... I can't even pretend anymore, even though she seems to be genuinely enjoying it at this point ... I just can't. And after all, if I'm not going to finish, and I'm even the one who paid, why should you get to finish? Sorry. I just can't do it. At this age in life (actually at any age!), my nose decides more instantly and sanely than my "big head" ever does and "little head" also agrees, and in fact, immediately starts to go down in size. She thought I came and is looking curiously, expectantly at the condom tip for the "leche". So I explain to her I'm just too tired, and that the condom just kills it for me, and she seems genuinely disappointed that I didn't come. But I go to shower, paying extra special attention to "that" entire area -- any surface that might possibly have come into contact with any of hers.

She spends maybe a minute or less in the shower (like night #1's predecessor) and gets dressed, lingers in the room and tells me how much she liked the place, me, the music, the candles, everything. But it's 2:20 AM and all I can think of are things like: I am going to be SO tired tomorrow. I hope I don't oversleep and wind up missing my flight from SJO. I wonder how long the memory of this "smell" is going to last. I should have saved my money for my trip to SE Asia in November. What is it with 2nd and 3rd world girls and personal hygiene? Hasn't "the word" gotten around? Or are there guys who really don't mind that, or even kinda like it??

First night in the famed Beatle Bar. Kinda like Orchard Road in Singapore or any of "those" bars in BKK ... you go in, have a drink, or not, you get approached, or you approach, take your pick. I like it, by the way, in case some of you are trying to discern my tone.
Being a "nice guy" my only problem is finding nice ways to tell an approaching girl that I'm really not interested. That's what is nice about being with another guy or group of guys because you always have that "out". When you're solo and you reject the girl, it's clear she's being rejected. Knowing all too well how that feels (what average American guy doesn't?), I hate doing it to them. But on with the report.
A Dominican girl, about an overall 8 (strong 8 though) approaches with a couple of her friends (says one of them is her sister). We chat a little bit, I buy her a Red Bull, we chat more, she starts rubbing my legs, shoulders, etc., turns around and rubs her really nice blue-jeans encased ass on me; notices Mr. Happy's response and grabs him right through the material in my shorts, then gleefully calls attention to it to her associates, who all raise their eyebrows, big smiles across the board and colloquial bursts of espanol that I don't quite understand. No matter.
So yeah, my will power and original resolve to not make any quick decisions is kinda toast by now.
But back at the room, she's transformed (the way they do) into a much less affectionate, much less excited performer, in the business sense. I never get over how they can be completely good actors during the "sale" but then when it's time to provide service, it's clearly something they want to be over sooner than later. I think the first part is probably fun for them, to a degree, and the second part is work, and their disposition changes accordingly.
And you can't ever KNOW that, going into the deal. Right? Unless you have found some formula of prediction that works. (do tell) It's one of those things in life that, no matter how many times you do it, experience never really instructs or makes the next experience more successful. And that's because humans are involved, and not only is it DNA, it's women we're talking about, after all.
So, given the lateness of the hour, my age, previous alcohol consumption, and now more importantly, her distant unattached stares at the wall, I just can't finish. There's no worse turn-off for me than being with a girl who is just going through the motions and every utterance and every facial expression says (literally or figuratively), "why you no finish? c'mon baby, finish, finish". That pretty much makes it impossible for me at that point, regardless of how she looks.
At that stage I'm internally going from positive thoughts about the girl (from original vibes) to more negative things like, "Are you just stupid, after all? I know you're not doing 'this' because you enjoy it - it's business and it's economic necessity. But at least be smart about it and you could make some serious money." And, "At least you're with a really nice fairly attractive and in-shape guy, taking really good care of you, in a nice hotel ... etc." The negative thoughts add to the overall turn-off factor, like a date that you know isn't going to end well, and you're just trying to figure out how to end it.
Side-note: she had a boob job, probably like 99% of girls I saw in the Beatle Bar, at least, those who had money enough to afford even the low-market jobs. And this was one of those low-market jobs. She must have been sensitive there because she really didn't want me touching/feeling (so what's the point of having them, other than "marketing" ... again, back to the "sales" event). But they felt very hard, and by that I mean almost rock-like, and very lumpy for lack of a better word.
So that $100 was a waste, and I took her back to the Beatle Bar around midnight. I was very glad I chose short time. In case I didn't say it, no, I didn't finish, even though like all other guys, I want to (that's the point, right?!). But I finish on my terms, not hers. I finish literally, just explaining I'm not into it, feeling rushed and it just isn't happening for me. She looks at me with that look (you guys have seen it) - partly not understanding my English, partly "what's wrong with YOU?" So I get cleaned up - she spends only about 35 seconds in the shower (good to know for whomever might have gotten her next), and I take her back to the bar. It's about 5 km and I don't want a taxi coming up there and of course I am not sending her off on her own. I always do the 'right' thing, regardless of the experience.
