Health funds billed for brothel sex in New South Wales
By Sue Dunlevy
The Daily Telegraph
November 17, 2008
HEALTH funds have been paying rebates to members who get massages with a "happy ending" in Sydney brothels a fraud investigation has found.
The sexual services which cost $60 were billed as a massage or as acupuncture and attracted a health fund rebate of $40.
An undercover investigation has resulted in about 80 massage services in Sydney being deregistered by health funds for fraudulent practices.
Four Chinese massage and acupuncture centres, including one in Ryde and another in Paramatta, offered undercover health fund investigators sexual services during a raunchy massage.
Health funds uncovered the practice after chasing up Chinese community newspaper advertisements offering to provide "young attractive masseuse with a health fund rebate".
Others were identified because all their clients were males aged 36-72 who were charged for acupuncture treatments over consecutive days.
Further investigations of the massage and acupuncture industry has found many of the students in white coats who work in the businesses have no training.
And some centres were charging health funds for multiple massages or acupuncture sessions when only one was offered so their patients were not left out of pocket.
The health fund rebates provided to brothels are just a small part of the fraudulent claims made on private health insurers.
Health fund members have been caught colluding with dodgy optometrists to get non prescription sunglasses covered by their health fund.
Almost half of the optical stores targeted by health fund investigators offered to pretend the sunglasses they sold were prescription items so the customer could claim a health fund rebate.
Others offered to supply expensive prescription glasses to fund members with no gap payment if the members signed a false claim that their wife received a set of glasses.
Australian Health Insurance Association chief Michael Armitage says this type of fraud is ripping off health fund members and forcing up premiums.
It's estimated fraudulent health fund claims could be adding about 2 per cent to the cost of the health insurance business every year.
"We work hard on providing premiums at the lowest price possible price and every time someone commits a fraud that means overall premiums go up for legitimate members so we're very angry about it," he said.
Major cases of fraud were referred to police.

Can anyone help me with some suggestions for a high quality companion?

Posts: 141Good report.. how depressing when neither the owners nor the girls realize there's more to good service, or a happy time than stripping, laying on the bed and waiting to be pumped like a carcass.
It's understandable sometimes, since some of these girls really don't want to be there, and were probably conned into it under less than honourable circumstances. Particularly noticeable with K girls, and some PRC girls.
I had a similar episode when visiting Venus last time (another K girl den).
Still though, if the owners want to remain in business, they need to address this nonsense.

Thanks for the tips on finding (or not) J-girls in Sydney.
I tried out Sakura Palace. Unfortunately it was not a very satisfying experience.
My first time there. Shown in to a waiting room. Kind of smoky and looked fairly run-down. Porn showing silently on a TV in the room.
Six girls on, all Korean, shown very briefly one by one at some distance. None especially attractive to me but thought I'd try my luck.
Showered separately in the room. Girl lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. Almost impossible to get any life out of her (or, in turn, out of little Beachboi given how inanimate she was).
Given I'd paid for 1 hr ($200 - or $180 before 6 pm), attempted to get some kind of warm up going, but she refused DATY, kissing and just about anything else I could come up with.
After so many "Nos" I asked "Is there anything you do like?" and she said no :-( A bit sad... After a minute or two pondering what to do, she said "You don't want sex?" somewhat incredulously.
Managed to get a little bit of action going after some mutual fondling. Poor CBJ, then a bit of mish. Asked her to go on top, then finished off in mish. Silent throughout (although a girl in a nearby room was certainly enjoying herself!)
Would have said something to the Papa-san on the way out but he was nowhere to be seen. And maybe I should have given up after 3 minutes when it was already apparent that nothing much was going to happen. Or even at the intro stage when I realised no Japanese girls available (on that night, at least). Live and learn I guess.

As alluring as names like "Sakura Palace" and "Tokyo House" may be to J-philes, they are more than likely to have a majority of non J girls on the books.
There are a few genuine J girls around, but it is hard to distinguish reality from advertising, so it is really a matter of trial and error. Even ringing up a shop and asking is unlikely to extract the truth. There may be one there today, but not the rest of the week, and maybe not even the same day next week.
I wish I knew the answer to this question, too.

Hey,
Does anyone know of any places in Sydney that have real Japanese girls? Seems to be hard to come by - and so far anyone advertising as Japanese seems to be either Korean or Chinese.
Doesn't matter to much if it is R&T, parlour or private - just trying to get the real deal!

Can agree more. You previously gave me advice too about the Cross and strip clubs offering more. If you see my previous posts before, my experience at the Cross was a nightmare. Only to go back for more punishment. The girls are generally junkies. One that I had admitedly she was coked-out. I give the sleaze factor 10/10. But for the action. Unfortunately it scores 0/10. Speaking about the "steroid-injected monkeys". Some of the places are simply high-way robbery. You pay $20 to go into one of those clubs. Hand them a $50. And they give you back $10. You ask where the other $20 is. And they TELL you its a tip. Godddddamn. Then when you go inside and buy drinks. The same applies to the barmaid. A TIP!
I thought Tips were meant to be voluntary?
Anyway, enough of moaning. I'm heading back to Sydney next week and staying in The Rocks. Any places of interests that anyone can recommend? I know getting the papers is an option, but would really prefer to go into one of the establishments for FS. Anyone?

Posts: 141As Pirambi said.. Kings Cross is the BOTTOM OF THE BIN.. avoid at all costs.. there's too many stories on here of people being ripped off (ie. they offer you 30 mins for $150 or something, next thing you know the bill is $250+ with no option to argue unless you want a piece of the steroid injected monkey at the door).. the worst fcks I have ever had (globally) took place in Kings Cross.. as well as just plain skanks and junkies everywhere.
The place has not improved in 20 years.. actually it's worse.
And no, there's not many Asians in KK.. except for heroin addicts.
You're better off buying the local newspaper, opening to the adult section and throwing a dart at the page and going to where it lands.
Go private, or RnT.
