They gave examples of a few 'successful' raids on Friday night, targeting high-end Kota MPs known to have both Indonesian and foreign WGs. The report said Operation Bunga will continue. And that it was not related to politics or bribes. Careful out there.

Went to travel hotel on sat before idul adha slaughtering day. Was surprise to see the place jam packed and not many girls left at 4pm, only those 4-5. 5/10. So hangaround for a while until gave up that things won't improve, pay for me beer and walk away for the first time ever. I think the economic crisis is getting worst and more people are staying in town.

as promised, here i am with a full report on my short trip to jakarta.

as advised by the forum seniors, i stayed at ambhara. about the hotel, it met my basic needs - it was clean, reasonably priced (paid around usd 75 per night with breakfast) and convenient - though i was surprised at how small the deluxe rooms were. convenient location and friendly staff (the doorman/security guy insisted on the first night that i should sample someone for the night on his recommendation but i did not take him up on his offer).....

day 1:

checked-in and decided to immediately make my way to hotel melawai 6th floor. on advice from concierge, i walked the 'short' distance from ambhara - though it was only 15 minutes or so, wet and humid weather did not make it a pleasant experience. arrived at the hotel around 3pm and, being very high on the hornometer (!), made the mistake of selecting the first acceptable looking girl on the 6th floor (later saw a couple of much nicer/younger looking ones) who seemed to be of indian origin. she cajoled me into getting another girl into the room to double the fun - who was i to resist! anyway had an acceptable session with the two women - both had seen better days and were somewhat mechanical though still fun enough and putting in an honest effort into the session. was able to cum twice during the one hour session and after paying a million (400k +100k tip per girl) headed back to the hotel with a wide grin on my face :-)

i have no idea what this grapevine is or who is behind it (if i recall rightly did not you or menteng mention last year that the cops were watching the place just before a razzia?) but i have now noticed on three occasions in the past few years that before each raid there is always some sort of prior knowledge among the regulars that something is about to happen and you can sense it.

i was at tc until 9.00 pm. i was in front of kfc (kentucky fried chicken) at 9.15 pm chatting with a prego service provider. i noticed undercover cops outside kfc. i though they were doing surveillance for a drug raid at hotel prinsen. it turned out they raided tc at 9.30 pm.

there are 2 main outfits of mongers in lokasari. these mongers showed up as early as 2 pm on daily basis. the first outfit is these mongers who hang-out at kfc and a new eatery across kfc. these mongers prefer prc and matured service providers. the second outfit is these mongers who hang-out at cfc (california fried chicken). these mongers prefer tc freelancer's profile. i am part of the cfc outfit. and, you are right dorman. tc regulars always get tip off.

perhaps the management isn't paying enough into the police benevolent fund but tc always seems to get hit and curiously before it happens a lot of people know about it in advance.

On our first night in Jakarta we (a friend from Austria who is the first time in Asia and I) went to CJ's in Mulia Hotel. It is quite high class, very expensive and I believe the quality of girls no better than blok M which we explored later.

I changed some at the airport (Right after you come out of customs) and was quite surprised that the Changers around Blok M don't do better. The rate at the airport was 12180 and the changers downtown gave 12100.

...The real stupid thing is that the hotel will probably charge a higher rate, and most will not extend you at your current discounted rate from Indotel or Kaha even though they know you will go through them otherwise.

At Ambhara at the reception they even called KAHA for me and made the arrangements to meet me at the hotel.
