Making travel plans for next week.- tossup whether to stay at Coco Hotel, Don Andres, or Rick's Bar. Which is preferable and why? Are any of those places uptight about chicks coming/going, etc? Every place's website says it's the greatest, of course. But you guys know the real deal.

So, which place is to be avoided? Thanks

The Coco Hotel is too far away from the "action" or the center of sosua. If you are going to stay there you will either have to take a moto each time or you will have to walk round about 10 minutes to get to the discos, beach....

Don't know about Rick`s Bar i am only aware of Rock`s bar which is in the same street as the new garden hotel. Rocky only offeres every basic rooms which will cost you round about 25 dollars per night.

The don andres is owned by dutch people and is right behind the AI place called Casa Marina Reef. Everything is in walking distance and out of the 3 places i think it is the best choice.

Keep in mind there are other places such as the new garden hotel, hotel europa or casa valeria which are right in the center of sosua and round about in the same price range.

I have had trouble with only two chicas in Sosua, they were both light skinned skinny chicas from Santiago. I have not done any Haitian chicas. Some of the Haitian chicas have killer bodies, firm tits and firm ass.

There is a mixture, from very dark skinned to light skinned. Practically no asians, although a very few number of girls have some asian features. Big girls, tall girls, skinny girls. The tourist chicas sometimes hang out at Classicos and the other bars, so occasionally you will see blonde hair, blue eyes girls and other white girls. The working girls are predominantly latin, although I did meet one white working girl from England a few year ago in Sosua. Most of the girls are medium to dark skinned. If you want to see pictures from bars and clubs in the Dominican Republic, there are other sites that have photos for free, Bonche.com, Bufeo.com. Ilovesosua.com has various free photos that will give you a flavor of the chicas in Sosua.

I'm on deployment right now and I am not able to register to see pictures on this site. However i have a little question. What is the ethnicity of most of the girls working down there. I'm going to be going on leave and this place seems really interesting but was just wondering whats ahead.

Here's my issue, though. And I know I'm leaving myself open to flaming, but I've never been in such a "high-volume" environment, and I definitely have no experience with the hustle and slick negotiation with this kind of chicks.

So I'm not asking for a complete education here, you veterans have no time for that. But how about a word or two of advice for me, huh? Where's the best place to go for a novice? Where should I certainly *NOT* go? I'd really rather not get robbed or my throat slit.

IMHO, it does not matter where you go. Learn some Spanish, relax, take your time, and develop some rapport with the girl. As with anything, proceed only if you feel comfortable. If you get bad vibes, let it go.

I have travelled to several countries alone and utilize this. It has saved me.
