I imagine if you were there 5 years ago, you were there previous to that also. If you were in Cuba in the days before 2002, especially nimerous times, then YES, Cuba is a letdown. Honestly, I thought the govt would have let up by now, but sadly its not the case.
Cuba was a true Fantasy Island in the 90's, and even up to late 2002. Then, everything changed. The girls are still there, they're just hiding. You need to have good contacts and have had developed a network. I still go twice a year at least because I have to, so I'm good, but otherwise, I wouldn't go back just for mongering either. There are far better places ....

My main reason to visit Cuba in the past was the availability of non-professional girls for fun and GFE sex. This could just compensate for the bad food, cheating, jineteros, non-functioning facilities and so on. However, I found that it is now almost impossible to get a ‘normal’ girl. There are probably still a lot of them around in small towns and remote suburbs but then you definitely need to rent a car (which I don’t want to drive in Cuba) and spend considerable time and effort. There is still a lot of cheap pussy around but these girls are at best semi pros – not much different from what can be found in other Latin American countries. So, there is really no good reason to go to Cuba anymore unless you like the country for other reasons than mongering. I’m afraid I don’t.

Anyway, I spent about 4 weeks on the damn island, visiting several places: Havana, Camaguey, Las Tunas, Bayamo, Santiago and Baracoa. My recent comments on Havana (only mentioning the mongering spots) follow below. Please look in the appropriate sections for comments on the other towns. Any questions are of course welcome.

On this trip, I spent most of my time in Havana. Perhaps I shouldn’t have as I never really liked the place. The girls were always more business-like in the past when compared to the province and I found them now more so than ever.

La Rampa is a good place to find a semi-pro, especially the stretch between the Malecon and La Coppelia. Fellow mongers have reported on this already and I don’t have many new facts to add. The Rampita cafeteria is a guaranteed pick-up place but the girls are semi-pros at best. Most of them are not even that good looking and each and every one has her own chulo that will happily spend your cash. There are lots of cops around as well but most girls buy them off. One evening, I noticed a girl being apprehend by two cops and I asked ‘my’ girlfriend of the moment what was going on. ‘She didn’t give them any money’, she answered.

There are many gorgeous ‘normal’ girls walking all day and night in La Rampa, for example nurses from the nearby hospital and university students (University of Habana). However, they now avoid eye contact with foreigners (how different this was in the past!). Perhaps they are afraid or perhaps they are just jaded with seeing yet another tourist. Who can say? It is just no fun anymore.

Other good pick-up places in La Rampa for (semi) pros are the clubs and dancings roughly between Calles K and O. Girls hang in front of these places, waiting for guys to invite them in, buy them a drink and then take them out again pronto to an illegal casa. By the way, illegal casas abound in Vedado and are not hard to find. Any of these girls know at least a few. I originally stayed in one but decided to move to a legal one as the risk of having my money stolen was too big. Of course, the chicas won’t come with you to a legal casa as they want to avoid being registered.

I also spent some time mongering in Centro Havana. The North end of El Prado between the open-air cafeteria (of which I don’t remember the name) and the ‘Oasis’ pub, is the hunting ground of a whole bunch of professionals. Some of them are really gorgeous. They were openly hooking in the street already from 2 p.m. I tried a few of them as they looked so damn good. But their attitude really sucked: demanding payment in advance (which I refused of course), re-negotiating an agreed-upon price, asking more money for anything they consider extra, “porque no leche, mi amor” after 2 minutes fucking, and so on. I’m afraid that the girls in this area have been completely spoiled by guys that never read this forum.

The streets in Centro close to Prado are also good places to find chicas. I walked around there and regularly heard inviting hisses from girls sitting in doorways. No great quality though and probably also professionals.

    Dec 9-11 Trip: Havana

I was living in the Cayman Islands and was about to leave for good, and realized that I never got a chance to go to Cuba. Heard a lot of good things from people on Grand Cayman about the bevy of beauties, etc. in Cuba.

So this was indeed a last minute trip, for a measly 2 days. I went with a "veteran" and he kinda showed me the ropes.

The potential for the trip to have been a memorable one was definetly there.

The first mistake was forgetting to change my money at the airport. My pal forgot to remind me and he said that he would lend me which he did. But not having your own money made it somewhat not as enjoyable.

There are definetly 10's there. And the rates are relatively cheap. The first girl that came over our Casa was decent looking but not GFE. I ended up seeing her despite my intuition, but next time I will know that 5 dollars for their taxi back home is way better than paying more for a girl you aren't really attracted to.

When we went to the club I found a 8.5 and she was making out with me in a secluded area and was GFE. She came over to our place(a Casa which was owned by an olympic gold medalist, so apparently no one would mess with her? she did not have to be registered) and I did the deed. She spent the night for 60 CUC. I tried calling her later to come back the next day but she was not there, her mother answered.

My pal said almost every/any girl you see could be available. If I could of hooked up with some of the hotter girls I saw even if they were less GFE, that still would of been worth it in my opinion.

The main problem is communication. If you have a guide that can interpret for you-- that will only make the trip that much more enjoyable.

The girls are definetly hot; for some reason the pictures people have here are not indicative of the quality.

If you somewhat enjoy the thrill of the hunt-- Cuba is not a bad place to go, especially if you are nearby like I was; a 45 minute flight from the Cayman Islands.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I would suggest that the author or another Forum Member consider posting a link to this report in the Reports of Distinction thread. Please Click Here for more information.

I cannot disagree with that assessment but I did get lucky when walking past Oasis, I let a chica standing in a doorway clean my pork sword for $20 CUC. She was cute but her place was disgusting.

That Sophia Cafe you talk about is where all the pros and chulos go hunting for extranjeros.

There are street parties that happen around the end of La Rampa and out (just east of) Habana Cafe. There is a even a semi cheap, short term (illegal) stabbin' cabin there.

This is the exact same reason why i dont normally post any reports or give advice or share casa information in the forum because there is always someone who thinks he knows more is more informed or knows more than anybody else. you are clearly entitled to your opinion i was just stating my experiences and giving my opinion so if you feel the need to break the law or get away with breaking the law feel free to do so. thats the same type of attitude why many a foreigener sit there languishing in cuban prisons because they thought they knew more than everybody else and thought they could break the law or should i say get away with breking the law i have no sympathyfor them. For the rest of the cuban veterans or newbies planning to go to cuba to meet a UCI student/chica meet her else where other than meeting her at UCI

beersterry i could not agree with you more! i hooked up a guy on this board with a casa and he was bringing major drama to the casa owner, he was bringing in hard core pros **** girls etc! it so happened he refused to pay a girl (hard core pro) claiming bad service and she caused quite a stink! bringing alot of unwanted attention to the casa owner thats why i am not exactly excited sharing casa information with just anybody

    [QUOTE=Darenesq0767]Americano,

Being the good SOCIALIST that I am, I do not mind sharing. "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" yes?

I am not so niave either. I cannot change reality on the ground, ... either she has a Cuban Novio or she does not, ... my knowing she does might not make a differnce, and my not knowing certainly makes no difference (ignorance is indeed bliss).

To be honest, though, I do trust her.

She'll just have to prove me wrong I suppose.
Darenesque you are spot on with your assessment of the situation i made my comments because too many guys fool themselves or should i say get fooled by theses chicas and the horrors stories well... they really are horror stories! I know of alot of success stories too and there are great girls in cuba you just have to look hard enough to find them.anyway looks like you might have just found yourself a winner but until then maintain that open mind kudos for you sir.

Thank you for the heads-up, ... I do appreciate it.[/QUD
