My issue with meeting the people they way you mentioned is the "ahh okies" as I call them. I have aa very low tolerance for that. Which I really should relax some, but I can't. I started my pre trip research (haha) a little early this time (5 weeks) so I could weed out those that have nothing to say ("ahhhh I seeeeeeee, okies". But man there are ALOT of them out there!

I here are some random shit from my experiences dealing with the Pinays.I may have said some of this in other posts over time, sorry for any redundancies.

DATING SITES: As far as the three dating sites i used: I found the best for marriage minded was Cherry Blossoms. They do the best job of weeding out the scamers. I wait at least a few days after girl signs signs up to CB before sending her a note, this way if she is active, there is a good chance that she has not tried to scam other men already. They also are allowed many pictures, so you get a good sense of how she really looks, not just her best picture that is on the front profile. Another great thing is it keeps a log of who has visited your profile and more importantly to me, it tells you how many times they have visited your profile. If a girl visits your profile 10 times in a couples of days, she is really into you. If she only visits once, and never replies to you or gives you a generic greeting, she just ain't in to you.

Friendster is a great way to check her pictures to see if there are a bunch with her and a local Pinoy. Also, you check out her friends, see if they are mostly skankks, gays, or foreign men.

THE FAMILY: If you are overly polite and bring a gift (even a small one) the family will love you and basically force the girl to pick you as her boy freind/ or fiancee. The local boys have no manners and no money. The majority of the fathers I met acted like THEY wanted to blow me after I was kind enoght to bring them $15 worth of hard liquar. I swear, most fathers were unemployed and alchoholics. All of the girls have a shit load of younger sibblings living at the house, so spend $10 on a variety of candy, and they will also tell your gf that you are the perfect match for her.

They say the best girls you will not meet on the internet, but at least it is a starting point for those of us who only have a short vacation planned.

I was taking the Weesam ferry from Ormoc back to Cebu city. I usually prefer to sit on the top deck which is open air.

On this particular trip I noticed a lady wearing what some call hot pants. I’ll nickname her HotPants - HP. She was about 30, about 5ft., average looking and wearing a loose fitting blouse. I assumed the loose blouse was covering a bit of chubbiness.

She was to my right, across the aisle. I also noticed that she was sitting very near a Filipino gentleman of about 40. Since there were plenty of empty seats all around I assumed the close proximity of their seats meant that they were together.

I walked out onto the back, outside of the seating area, and was taking a few pictures. Out comes a very cute young lady…unfortunately followed by what appeared to be a younger brother. I greeted her, but she was a bit cool so I left it at that. Soon she was gone.

When I returned to my seat, HP was in the row directly behind my seat looking out at the scenery. Her stuff was still to my right. She was kneeling on the seats with her head out the window, and her very cute rear end was up in the air. I tried not to stare since I suspect her man might get upset. I glanced over at the guy and he seemed to be asleep. I glanced back over at her rear end. Very nice. She spent at least half of the two-hour trip in the row behind be. I thought maybe her and the man were having a little spat.

I probably wouldn’t have given her too much attention if she was in an AC club, but she was certainly doable, and this was nice and unexpected. Philippines…life is good. Little did I know that it was about to get better.

Docked in Cebu, and I was wrestling with my bag which had been stowed up against the bulkhead. I paused for a moment surveying the taxi queue….which was positioned a bit down the way since the taxis up front had been hailed already. The Supercat, which had an earlier scheduled departure actually arrived after the Weesam ship and their location at the next pier meant the taxis had no incentive to move up to where I was now standing. I cursed my luck …for about one second….because as my gaze moved from taxi to my immediate surroundings, there she was, hot pants was a walking my way. The stars had aligned!

“Where are you going?”, I inquired.
“Mango Avenue”
“Me too, would you like to share a taxi?”, and so we did.

It’s about a 30 or 40 min ride. In the taxi I made small talk with her, but didn’t want to make it obvious to the taxi driver that we didn’t know each other. That may have been good strategy considering what happened. Although it was very obvious that I could take care of myself and knew where I was going, she offered to accompany me to my hotel. She did this in a way to make it sound as if she was trying to help out a poor lost tourist. I think she mentioned safety, etc. I suppose she was saving face with the taxi driver, or maybe she was just offering up some good fun in a slightly indirect way. Who knows.

I had every intention of paying for my ride and more for her to get home. But she insisted on covering half and got out with me at Holiday Plaza on Ramos Ave. I did my check in and up to the room we went. It seemed a bit awkward since I only then asked for her name. I turned on the TV and then suggested she sit down. She found a comfy seat on the bed (ignoring the chairs) and I sat down next to her. A bit more small talk (one kid) and at one point she puts her hand on my leg. She immediately pulls it off as if she had committed some faux pas. Well, at this point I’m wondering if that nice ass in the air, in the row behind, hadn’t been looking for some attention two hours earlier as we were passing the Camotes. I pulled her over and kissed her and within minutes we were passionately tearing off our clothes and fucking like there was no tomorrow.

After showering, I ask her to write down her phone number and email. This is not really because I want to keep in contact, but because I’d completely forgotten her name. It’s kind of a situation where you have a smirk, but also feel a bit guilty. Guilty about forgetting her name, that is.

Being the gentleman that I am, I suggested we get something to eat.

Actually, I was hungry and could have cared less if she joined me or not. She did and we ate and I paid for that. I made some excuse and offered to pay for her taxi, but she said she could walk. And she did, and so did I.

met a girl while back on ym an accountant in cebu who was highly intelligent. i mean her intelligence/ knowledge of things, foreign politics, personal finance etc and her grasp of the english language was nothing like i had ever seen from a filipina.

one thing though she was extremely naïve and desperate for a foreign husband or mate as most filipinas are from poor backgrounds but here is the catch this girl was not poor. she is a manager at a prominent call center company. the money she is earning is grandiose for a single filipina especially in cebu. she has her own apartment and is mortgaging a house she is having built from scratch.

after that we continued to chat then she went quiet. i managed to get down to cebu to see another filipina i was chatting with a nurse and i thought i would try to catch her. she ignored my calls my text messages and what not.
i am trying to find out what’s going on her friends would not talk would not say shit. i check her friendster page and there she is with some fat white, i am pretty sure american guy standing behind her. he looks too goofy to be any other nationality.

i contact another one of her friends and find out she married the guy. turns out she knew the guy all along from a business trip she took to the states a while back. i warned her about being so easy after she offered to meet in thailand and stay with me. i was little bit taking back by her willingness to travel to a foreign country to meet a stranger she even bought my plane ticket to cebu. so just like that after i fell out the picture she got married. they got married in april o8 now they are divorced turns out the guy was a nut job. a schizoid he accused her of stealing money, cheating on him etc… i mean a real work of art. she back right now here again chatting with me and heartbroken. i don’t know why but i am taking some type of morbid satisfaction in saying i told you so.
