Hi all,

yesterday I took for the first time in the 2 weeks a girl from help to my apartment. She was very nice, tall and thin blond and the time was about 3:00, she looked normal, no drunk, we had a nice conversation for almost one hour so I was prettu sure I could have NO trouble with her, but....

First of all inside the taxi, the driver asked me if I want drug...obviously I said no as I never took drugs in all my life, surely I do not start at 34yo, but the problems started later in the flat....

Once we arrived she opened her handbag and take out from little plastic white powder...I asked her, what are you doing, she very calm said, no problem, we do half and half..

In that moment I realized that if police stopped me, I could have some troubles...but however I had to go out of that situation... I told her, go back home and do what you want, but surely in my flat forget to take it !

She started to get a bit crazy and to offend me, she said:" how is it possible I found the only one that does not like cocaine? You do not know what you are gonna to lose !"

She again said: " let's take it, try it and you will see, we will fuck till morning as you never did before ". When I said no ! She first started to offend me, to tell I am stupid and so on, later when she saw I was really calm and I just told her, here you have 50 reais, go back to help and you will find another one, she started to cry and to say that I do not like her, that she feels ugly and so on....

Shit...the last thing I need to have a pro with cocaine crying loud in my flat at the morning....

After about one hour I was able to send her out with 50 reais, actually to get her out it look to me as a bargain and I immediately felt very good, but my question here is.... if a normal girl with normal face, no make up, no drunk, with a face I could describe just "water and soap" is drug addict and if the first girl I took from Help in 2 weeks here had cocaine in her handbag....how many girls, that look more hardcore pro use cocaine in help ???????

Maybe I will take out of help another one girl, but I will try to pay even more attention, cause what I had really now scare me, cause even if you get your eyes open it cannot be enough here in Rio.

And btw All the night I drink no alcol, just coca cola and water, cause I have a bit of flu for the cold I took at paris cafe, so I was no drunk, neither a little.

Yeah it's closing , that's why they just took a month to do a big renovation there, new staircase ,new booths , the back booths are totally re-done , Of course they would do that a month before it closes.
They raised they price yesterday 25/35 to 28/38
The only thing that is consistent is every time there are rumours of it closing , the entrance price goes up.
According to one of the owners I was talking to a month ago, "yes it will close , in a few years"

If they do close after carnival all the business in the area may be hit hard, because that is a central location for mongers. Now mongers might want to stay closer to Terma's, or other spots. Maybe that's what the government wanted?? just to move the GDP action away from that area to another area. You are right what a great time to start doing reservations and raising the entrance fee.

It's not far from Gay Farme (the area between Farme de Amoedo and Vinicius de Moraes).

A short report just to more or less suggest you to no go there....

It is far almost one hour from copacabana, taxi qith taxametr was 58 reais, it is after Barra.

Inside too music loud and too cold, really cold.

About 20 girls and.... 80 men...yes too many men and only 3 were nice girls, one amazing one but she has almost 15 men close to her all the time.

1 hour in normal room it is 210 reais.

So no cheap, no close, but no one turist and maybe I was in a non good day, cause my friend told me last year were about 20 girls and 10 men.

The only good thing, it closes to 3:00.

Word is officially out that Help is closing after Carnival. I know this has been going on for years but wanted to know if anyone in Rio has heard anything? There has been News articles this month about this.

Has anyone taken out short-term (one to two months) gym membership recently - what did you pay and where (not including classes) please?

Gym's are about R80 - R140 depending on the gym. There may be a small joining fee. Whatever you do don't sign a contract for x number of months, it is a ***** to break it. Gyms are everywhere

That sounds about right. I can never remember what I paid then the time before so have to bluff it.

After being used to all the high end termas and now reading some reports on the low end ones, i really want to give them a try and 'new experiences, n all that' unfortunetly theres been no names addresses, anyone help me out with some info on them, location, name and general setup when inside.
