Help used to be a good place to go. Not anymore.

Ugly girls everywhere.

So, let me guess the alternative is to go to (drumroll) a termas!

Curious, do all the termas girls who go to Help after the termas closes suddenly become ugly? Or do only ugly termas girls work at Help?

Outside and inside Help has been very busy the nights I have been there. Maybe the termas are pricing themselves out of the market. Even at R$300, a guy can spend all night with a girl for what he now pays for 40 minutes in some termas. Add to that the outrageous drink prices some termas are charging, and Help seems to be a good choice.

In the termas, the lighting is dark for a reason. Outside and even inside of Help you can see what the girl really looks like. I have had no problem finding attractive girls, who could work in any termas, from R$150 to R$250. And, one can take his time; there is no phone ringing after 40 or 60 minutes.

One other thing about the girls working at Help is that, except in the case of an exploitative husband, boyfriend, girlfriend or family, the money is theirs. As I understand it, in Brazil, anyone living off the proceeds of prostitution is earning money illegally.

So finally I am in Rio and since I arrived late and my Hotel is nearby Help I couldn't resist enterting it yesterday. To be honest, I was shocked of the quality of the girls and the quality of the customers. Hadnt seen 1 decent looking women. I have travelled alot around the globe but thats not the place for me to go. Heading to Centaurus in the next hour and will report about that. What a bad start.

Mimosa (heard there was a shooting last week - anyone confirm?) to namorada - sexy day at the beach yesterday - invitation to stay at her place way out past Nilopolis - trawling today - NS Copa 500, great experience again, Quitanda 81 awful (flurescent light barely illuminating the non-doables but they still wanted their 10R entrada) - Carioca naff - Praca Tiradentes and ´smelly street´horrific except for one girl quickly taken - Casarao, the two girls I fancied were taken - leaflets collected for Stella Hollywood at usual addresses (See Sperto´s list) and Centro de Lazer 82 (82 Rua Goncalves Dias 82, 2nd floor) but couldn´t be bothered with more stairs. Except BA85 where I hit lucky. (Was gonna write a long report entitled ´A Kilograma of Filth from the Frontline´ but couldn´t be bothered lol - Carnaval champions parade tomorrow and all the info is on the board already guys!)

Guys, Mimosa is a f... dangerous place to go. Gangs everywhere(Punks,drug dealers and many others).

I highly recommend Rio Scenarium in the Lapas district. Its 15 minutes by taxi from Copa, but they have great bands and dancing. Its three stories high, but there is no ceiling in the middle of the first and second floors, and you can hear the music very well throughout the restaurant. The place is very popular, so its best not to arrive too late (I usually arrive around 10:30 pm) or else you may be waiting in line. You can eat dinner there; for the best seats, I recommend making a reservation (3147 9000).

You cannot go wrong here.

Rio Scenarium is a good place to go.

I think I'm familiar with the area - its across from the Tiradentes park, right? I've never noticed any GDPs around there. I guess I have to keep a better look out.

Can you tell me more about that hook-up?

Finally had some free time to wonder around a bit....

Unless you can speak Portuguese well and carry yourself as a Brasileiro, I wouldn´t attemp to do what I did in Prado Jr. As far as Ave Atlantico and picking up SW´s there, I wouldn´t do it myself.

My advise is, learn to speak portuguese fluidly and you´ll be surprised how many doors will open for you here in Brasil. Non-working girls will flock to you as well as working girls. I have my hands full with both...

I just saw him the other day when he was nice enough to let me use his printer because the internet cafes were all closed for Carnaval. He looked good and seems to be doing a brisk non-monger business. I respect that he is very involved with his young son. His laundry looks nice and seems to be doing well. As for his business practices, I have inquired but never rented an apartment from him so cannot comment.

I rented from Bobby last December. The place he rented to me was nice.

However, I had an incident in my apartment with the upstairs apartment's kitchen sink heavily leaking water into my bathroom. This could happen to any apartment.

Bobby had his staff respond right-away. I was even offed another apartment, but I was too settled to move after 3 days. I give him an A+ in trying too fix things that spontaneously go wrong. He and his staff work late and can be found 7 days a week. I like the laundry service, and he'll let you call the US with his US phone number.
