Actually, there's a separate Grand Hotel on Huaqiang Bei across the street from KFC and Haagen Dazs near the SEG Tower. The Grand Holiday is at United Plaza or as you Chinese guys say, Lianhe Guangchang.

You can proposition any English speaking girl in Shenzhen, Seoul, or San Francisco, it's just a matter if you can close the deal. And in my experience, the vast majority of men hitting on girls in general is FAIL.

I went into a bank a few weeks ago to exchange money. The greeter followed me over to the window and was talking to me in english the whole time I was changing money. I think she was practicing her english. It was not that great. But she was real cute girl.

Nice freebie, but what is the real cost of this freebie.

After wining and dining this gal three times, the cost of it probably cost more than a paybie. If you proceed in having her as your girlfriend, the cost may really adds up. I'm not putting you down, but this dating sh$t could really add up. Sometimes it is cheaper to just pay the fee and move on. 1) Yes, too far to walk. Cabs are quick and cheap, maybe 20 rmb.

2) Lots of hotels, especially the bigger ones have touts/mommies working the lobby or just outside the hotel. They will deliver but charge more. Make sure you negotiate. Opening price is likely to be something ridiculous.

Pimps don't control whether girls can go to your room. But for some hotels, it's better if you escort the girl up. Otherwise she may be turned away or ask to pay a fee by hotel staff.

3) No clue. Maybe I have seen the hotel driving by, but don't remember. If the hotel is decent size, it may have an in-house FS sauna.

Once again, maybe we should quit using names like: Seibu BBS, Queen's Spa, Pink Apartments. Because using these names will only get you blank stares from taxi drivers and hotel staff. Learn some survival Chinese to get by. It's China after all.

If you don't speak Mandarin at all, or only very little, it's unlikely that Chinese people will be able to understand you. So do yourself a favour and copy down the Chinese characters below and show to a cabbie.

Seibu BBS = 向西村 = Xiang4 Xi1 Cun1
The BBSs are inside XiangXiCun, which is a very small village swallowed up by the city of Shenzhen.

Queen's Spa = 皇室假期水疗会 = Huang2 shi4 jia4 qi1 shui3 liao2 hui4

Pink Apartments = 罗湖村 = Luo2 Hu2 Cun1
Again, BBSs are inside LuohuCun. Cun = village.

I wouldn't go that far and said that all hotels in SZ is girl friendly, but if you stay away from the branded 5 star hotels; you will definitely be fine.

1)　The hotel is on the corner of Sungang East Road and Bao'an Road. It's a lot futher West than the areas you mention. It'll be about a 10 minute cab ride to the Shangri-La, and about 15 minutes to the Seibu area.　Note that 'Seibu' will only get you blank stares, so you might want to use the Queen Spa as a reference point - I'm sure the hotel guys will know where that is.

Seibu is very frequently empty these days, so I'm not sure that's a good place to go. Some of the other BBS areas may be better bets. Btw, the Pink Apartments had superb selection last night, but also a ridiculous number of mongers.

2) Every hotel in Shenzhen is girl friendly in terms of bringing girls back. Not sure if they'll procure girls for you though, as I've never stayed there.

3) Again, don't know.

I have spent 2 days reading through the past threads and I feel like I already know some of the war veterans in this post personally hahah. The mamasans have many different type of girls.
This is an well established business started with servicing Hong Kong weekenders who visit for cheap food, cheap massages, cheap sex, cheap hotels.
Many girls will not go with foreigners, in this I mean Non-chinese.
Most of the mamasans are interconnected , atleast in clusters who share girls numbers.
With many years of experience in Shenzhen It is my understanding that there is no active recruitment of girls from villages for the bonded brothel jobs.
It happens in other SE asian countries but not in within china destinations.
chinese girls do get recruited to work in other countries for prostituition by gang members. These include Macao, Malaysia, middle east, Indonesia, singapore, Hong kong.
Almost all the girls come to Shenzhen on their own accord to find gainfull employment. Usually they have some relative in Shenzhen who they stay with in the begining. Pressure to send home the money and other demands force them to prostituition to make money and have a nice lifestyle. Many find sponsors from Hong kong who get them apartment and take care of them.
I have not heard of any girls telling me that they belong to the mamasan and as such do not have the freedom to go anywhere. Of all the girls who do prostituition,
1. Girls have jobs and do it through mamasans part time.
2. Street girls who are independant.
3. Karaoke and other bargirls who try to make extra cash through agents.
4. High class girls who have their own classy apartment who cater to
high enders only.
5. Massage places with extras. But these girls are not bonded.

Yes, in most of the apartments, the girls are there voluntarily and can leave when they wish. However the Pink Apartment mommies operate differently. Those girls are often lured to SZ with promises of high paying jobs as waitresses, etc. The pimps, or sometimes their BFs recruit at their village, very often Hunan, offer to cover their travelling expenses, abit of front money for parents, etc.

So arriving at SZ they find they've been sold into the flesh trade to the Pink Apartment mommies, with no money to pay back for their transportation but to work on their back. Can't run away cause the pimps know their family and threatens harm.

In the other apartments, where girls turn up voluntarily, often enticed by their GFs, the pay scheme is often like so: Out of the 100Y that punters pay, they keep 70 and the mommie who introduced the punter gets 30. The deed is often done in the pimping mommie's apartment, even if she might live next door. The room for the deed is provided by the pimping mummie as part of her 30Y fee. If it is 150Y, then the gal gets 100 and the mommie gets 50Y.

So where does the mommie where the girl is lodging at come in? Well, the girl pays 50-70Y for room and board. And it is collected each morning. They very seldom let the girls run too high a tab. So after awhile, a not so pretty girl is running in the red. Often to her friends who lend her the boarding fee. She can run away cause her GFs won't really come hurt her or her family.

Forgot to mention that there are lots and lots working as mommies. Some have their own stable of house gals, while others just collect their fee from being the introducer. Everybody getting rich off selling the girl.

I suppose it must be remunerative enough for some, as I know some of the girls have been there for months. Others decide selling themselves ain't for them and split the very next morning.

The mommies don't really care when the girls leave, provided they settle their debt, cause there's so many showing up day in day out. We talked and she says she doesn't want to do this and will not go back to the mommie. Nope, didn't give her anything beyond a meal. Very smart and sweet gal. Worked at a photo place and was a whiz at Photoshop, but lost her job. Sorry, don't know what became of her. Tried to recommend her for a job at the photo place I use, but they weren't hiring.

That's just details on one gal who quit after one day, infact after their first intro into the biz. I'm not rough on them, far from it. Which is why the mommies entrusted new arrivals to me cause they know I'm a gentle guy. Ha ha, except I'm bad, I would tell them the whole nitty gritty about the business and how they'd never get rich. Mommies often lie and tell them they could make 7000Y a week, easy. The apartments where they're at is low trafficked and I'd be surprised if she turns more than 1 or 2 tricks a day. If she's above average in looks! A star performer with great service and gets her repeat customers would maybe do 4 a day.

Oh, back to why I said the girls belong to the mommies at the Pink Apartment. During their evening line up. Very odd to see actually. They would actually form a line, running the length of the street, in the middle of the street. No traffic allowed in that compound. The line up is opposite a restaurant. I suppose the guys are in there eating and surveying their after dinner dessert, but when I glanced, there weren't that many diners. The time I was there, I had my favorite mommie from my usual apartment in tow to sweet talk the girl into coming back to my hotel. Eyeballed a girl who looked like she had just arrived, and indeed my mommie told me later, she had just shown up that afternoon. I stood 3 meters away and let my mommie do the negotiation with her. Soon as she left the line with my mommie, a beligerent mommie came after them and bellowed as to what was going on. My soft spoken mommie was yelled at and told that the girl belonged to her and cannot leave the compound. So there, the girls at the Pink Apartments do belong to their mommies. And no take aways.

I haven't bothered with going there ever since. Too much effort and a waste of time when I have an endless supply in the apartments surrounding my hotel, with mommies I can chew the fat with and who let me have the girls for longish ST without griping. Yeah, even broke my record and had a ST gal for 5 hours and then the mommie took over, and serviced me overnight!
