This is a very funny story... but I don't see it continued anywhere.

I just got back from Rio and went to a bunch of Thermas so I have some perspective. I didnt have a girl yell at me like that but I did have a few rebuff my initial attempts.

Some days I think some girls just dont want to work. I am sure they also have some other reasons going on as well. Probably best not to try to figure it out and just find someone who you do jive with.

I was at Luomo one night and I had already been with the Egymptian looking one the other day and tried to chat her up again this night. For whatever reason she just didnt seem interested. I cant speak Portaguese and she cant speak english so it didnt help. Whatever she never seemed that friendly to anyone. So I get up and move back to the bar and then notice some old Asian guy called her over and is now chatting with her and she is all touchy feely with him. Then they eventually go back to a room.

I didnt really feel bad because it would be hard for any objective person to say this old Asian dude was in better shape or better looking than me.

I just dont think there is much logic sometimes. Better to just find a connection or one that seem happy.

I also had a similar experience at 4x4. super tiny hot girl just would not act interested so I just left her.

First Rio trip planned for mid April, a few confirming questions if anyone can assist with some information.

I am not a fan of hangin’ around in a robe, tried it in Macau and wasn’t my gig. Hoping to find more of a bar scene: cheap beers, music, lot’s of mid priced & mid quality girls to choose from. For reference, in the Patpong/ T.J. / Angeles City vein. The interpretation I have from research on this thread leads me to believe that the following venues may fit our groups’ taste (basically a place with a bar and robes are not required, where you can drink beer and view the talent):

• Termas Âncora do Recreio
• Paris Café
• Termas Excentric in Niteroi
• Cancuns (Whiskeria)
• 4X4 (Whiskeria)

May be I am barking up the wrong tree here in assuming that Rio has venues that can be compared to anywhere else. If anyone could offer assistance in narrowing down some places or a general area out of what appears to be hundreds of possible choices to maximize the few days we will have in Rio I would greatly appreciate any input.

Really looking forward to an epic trip and I must compliment Bubba Boys work on this thread, a truly astounding, concise compilation in a very short amount of space and appears to be very relevant and useful even today despite that the list was written 2 years ago. Thank you for the sentiments Sperto. On balance yes, but it would be hard to prove of course. I had my guard down as I said. In the room we went into porno mode just undressing each other. We went down on each other among other things but of course while I was down on her I couldn´t see what she may have been doing with any clothes strewn about. got there about 2pm today, a little earlier as fridays are really packed. actually, i left ba 85 around 7pm and it was not as crowded as normally. i have been in there on some fridays where the stairs are packed with a slow moving line constantly (i know you think i am exaggerating but wait and see). my guess is that many guys blew their money during carnaval.

i seesioned with little chris on the 3rd floor. nice bbbj and doggie style for r15. i missed my chance to screw the blonde bartender again, perhaps that one time was it.


there was an american in there with a redshirt and jeans on. the shirt had "racing team" on it. if that was you pm because we can meet up sometime and go together.
i know you were not brazilian because you were watching everything, meaning the girls, of course, but also you were making sure of your surroundings by keeping an eye on the dudes. i do that to and have been told it is a dead giveaway!

on saturdays only the 2nd floor is open. the girls are usually lazily sitting about. ask for renata (hey-nata, for the porto-challenged). i am not sure when they close on saturdays but most of the girls leave around 4pm, i remember. i think they were closing as well.
the 2nd floor is the most ghetto of all the floors, but can be real fun.

ba 85 is probably a good starter place for the gringo interested in low budget thermas. ba 113, for example, is less sophisticated and the girls run up to you when you walk in. for me, i have to think before i speak porto and this is a dead give way. so avoid this place until you get up to speed. also rua da carioca 59 (or is it 49), can be a little scary too. but in ba 85 you can sit down and chill.

today, i also took the ferry from centro to niterio. it is short walk from ba 85 to the ferry landing and costs r5 roundtrip. there are much expensive bay tours that provide basically the same service for much more. this ride is really nice as they have upgraded the boats. the irony is that the older boats a few years ago actually provided more outside standing space where you can feel the cool breeze on your face. but then again the boats back then were dirtier.

i got back from niteroi around 7pm. it was getting dark, but there were still lots of people out in centro. i guess people sit around and unwind after a days work (i would call it a hard days work, but these are cariocas!). on previous trips i have sat at a shop and drank a few beers. the beers are cheaper than in copa as well as the food. a quick meal can be had for r3( less than us $1.5)

after i got back to copacabana i ate at the copa grill again. there were 3 americans in the copa grill, perhaps my posts have ruined the place. damn! there goes the neighborhood.

I just got back from a week in Rio and these are my observations.

To give some background, this is my 4th time to Rio over the course of 5 years and I have always had a great time on all of my trips but this one wasn’t worth the 23 hour roundtrip plane ride.

I’m not sure if it was the friends I brought down or just a couple of bad coincidences.

I traveled with 2 of my buddies this time, one who is an experienced monger and the other who was just going down for the "experience". I knew this was going to be bad Karma when the first words out of his mouth once we landed in Rio was "I changed my mind, I just can’t pay for it. " I’m thinking to myself great than what the fuck did you come for. But I held my tongue and just said cool, do what ever you feel comfortable with.

So the first place we go is Luomo. We are somewhat early we get there at 5pm, take showers and go relax at the bar. We order a couple of drinks and I notice that the girls are just talking to each other and the hottest girls are only interested in talking to this American guy who is sitting in a corner by himself. After an hour I pull over to the bar a smoking hot, tall, somewhat skinny, really cute girl and I tell her to grab her 2 friends she was talking with to talk with my buddies. So my buddy who said he will not pay for it ask his girl for a massage! What an idiot. , I just look at him and laugh! My other buddy is talking to I think the hottest girl in Luomo and decided to take her for a session. I wasn’t going to be left talking with my lame buddy at the bar so I told the sexy, skinny chick that it was time for us to do a session! It was fantastic. She was so cute. Now my other friend who is an experienced monger starts to get a conscious saying "this is bad all of these guys with wives at home" I’m like dude are you kiddin me right now you are in a room with 75 of the hottest girls you’ve ever seen and all you can think about are dudes? ! What is this world coming too. ?

Now here is the crazy part. After scoping out the place for 30-40 minutes I finally found "the one" she has long straight blond hair, ass to die for and nice tits. I gently grab her waist and say "Hi, please come here, lets have a chat" she ignores me. I’m thinking huh, maybe she didn’t hear me. So I say it again and she ignores me. My buddy is like are you getting rejected by a GDP? I said well, I didn’t think that was possible. Never happened before. So I try one more time and then she turns around looks me dead in the eye and said "what do you want? I don’t speak English! " then she walks off. I couldn’t believe this kind of attitude in what is suppose to be the happiest place! Needless to say this got me pissed off. Has anyone ever experienced this before with a Terma girl? I’m in excellent shape by most standards and considered good looking. I just couldn’t understand this attitude for no reason! Since my spirits were low, I mean getting rejected by a hooker is about as low as it can get. I took the next hottie walking by without any screening (biggest mistake)! We make it upstairs, I actually got a shower in my 40 minute room which was a bonus. She hands me a towel and asked me if I was going to shower.

This is good value just now as there´s a ship in harbour and that´s what it caters to. Mostly American servicemen on shore leave, excellent atmosphere, very laid back, 70R for 30mins, good rooms and service, most girls very do-able and some beauties. Catwalk, strip etc. Bit like the Boston University area I hung out in years ago (only you can shag the girls lol).

Sorry - I wrote a long post on how to find it and how to explore and find stuff out yourself instead of being an ´end-user´. But I lost it cos I didn´t save it. So get to Praca Maua around 1am. Most of the real streetwalkers are avoided by most mongers. Trannies on Atlantica. Girls sitting on bonnets of cars on Prado and Viv.d.Castro. There might be the odd do-able one as you come into Lapa and there´s places you´d probably not want to go where streetwalkers hang out such as Praca Tiradentes and worse. If one of them looks too good to be true, she probably is. Possibly too cracked out to even get into a restaurant or bar. On an early visit to Rio I picked up an awesome looking blonde - one of those that tries to stop traffic outside of Barbarella´s. We took a taxi. Before we got to my apartment - which in those days was only Siquera Campos area, less than half a mile - she had her hand in my pocket trying to take my money. Even when I dislocated her grip she had another shot, so spaced out was she. I had to physically throw her out of the taxi and slam the door.

As someone just mentioned, the more regular ´street´action is just girls hanging out in bars like Balcony and then doing a circuit of nearby bars to see if there´s any better prospects. These girls are usually ok, though not tens.

Not all the restaurants on Atlantica have working girls, though the girls will prowl between the ones that do. The main ones are Meia Pataca, Terraco, Balcony and Mabs - in these places anyone who is not a monger or PDP is a bit out of place lol. But there´s a lot of Copacabana that has nothing to do with mongering. You can´t just proposition any girl as if she was up for it.

As for tens, opinions may vary, but a lot of it is luck and perseverance. Help and 4x4 are good places to look if you want a straightforward pick-up. The best looking girl I´ve had - not including a gorgeous girl I lived with - and I would rate as a ten (as did several on the forum when I posted some limited pics) was from Mimosa, but that is rare. I don´t personally think there´s a lot of point in saying find so-and-so at such-and-such a place though as there are thousands of working girls and a large proportion change venues or work on and off.

Hey Christopherd, thanks for the thorough summary on the places to hit in Centro. After reading Tijuana Fannatic's posts, I was really interested to find out more about BA 85. And now I know. I'm really into BA 85's kind of places where sex can be had for dirt cheap prices. What do you suggest as the best time of the day/week to go in terms of quantity of girls? You mentioned that these places roughly charge R1 per minute. So how do we pay the girls exactly? Is it like the termas where the time is predetermined (40 minutes or 1 hour) or it is like pay as you go (ie R18 for 18 minutes of sex)?

If I can sum up the courage to venture into Centro I would love to visit a couple of these places you mentioned in your post.

Anyways, like TJ said, the girls that hang around the restruants ae considered the street action, and they normally blow away he girls you will see down and Mexico. They WILL get naked and not try to charge you extra for the simple things that those girls down in Mexico try to get away with. Alot better service usually, also.

What's up. This is Tijuana from the Tijuana thread. Why are you just a regular member now? Anyway, I am not sure about street action. Rio is different in that all of the restaurants on the main street in Copocabana, Avenida Atlantica, have girls hanging around. In most places this would be considered street action. Usually this action is R150-200 (65-86 US dollars) for 2-4 hours. The girls in Rio do not usually watch the clock. This is much better than Mexico!

There are actually girls on the street corners at night but I think mostly Brazilians take advantage of this. These girls can actaually be more expensive. I got quoted R300 once. Then again a guy on another site said he got a few for 100-200 short time.
