Has anyone been to the Hill Top yet on Rigeau? The last time I heard about this bar was about a year ago. I'm sure it's more or less a brothel more then a strip joint.

Diane is the place in Clarenceville, what is the name of the place in Marieville?
Also I remember 10+ years ago that Clarenceville had lots of girls working there but the last time I went (5 years ago maybe) it seemed to have only a handful of gals. Is that still accurate?

Did this ever reopen? That was an amazing place and after it was shut down, they kept it in good shape as if they were planning on reopening when they were able too.

Posts: 124Not lately, but everything I heard in the last years about that club was they're on the downward spiral. It must be two years since the last time I was there, but they were having troubles at that time. Anyway, they always had the reputation of being one of these hit or miss night kind of place.

Posts: 124Sherbrooke's HyperSex is dead. The front sign is gone and it is available for rent. Studio Sex on downtown Wellington South and Chez Rita by the bridge in Bromptonville are still open to provide some good lap dancing.
By the way, while driving all around the province, it seems that quite a few rural clubs are now very slow or have put the key under the door. Check if they're still in business before driving a long distance.

Posts: 124After Detroit, Granby and St-Hyacinthe want to get rid of their clubs
An editorial (from the local St.Hyacinthe paper - in French, of course) about the City of St.Hyacinthe and its clubs. It also mention that the City of Granby expropriated the great Studio Sexe.

Posts: 124A very good source told me that dancing is not for everyone, because a dancer in her 40's working in a low-end/high-milleage club in a small village between Sherbrooke and Quebec City was transported by ambulance to the hospital tonight. He reported me about her saying that she was unable to stand any longer to stay in that area and wanted to go back home in the Quebec City metro area. It seems that she was on heavy drugs and didn't ate much in the last days when they found her lying on the road shoulder near the bar. Strung out people can be found everybody, but that story is quite sad to hear.

The Montreal cops puts down at least one online agency, Mtl Station C, and wants to do the same thing with the others guys. The Montreal Police doesn't go out of its island coverage, but they might team up in investigation with Longueuil, Laval or SQ cops. Last year, Trois-Rivieres had their own local investigation and raid too.
I don't want to affraid anyone, just let you know to take extra caution to stay safe. Search her name in the paper classifieds, not yours in the first pages!

I even found some of them in the regional weeklies (not just the Montreal dailies, such as the Journal de Montreal), such as L'Express in Drummondville. According where you go, the others ones to explore are Le Courrier in St.Hyacinthe, Le Canada Francais in St.Jean, La Voix de l'Est in Granby, La Tribune in Sherbrooke, La Nouvelle Union in Victoriaville, Le Courrier Frontenac in Thetford Mines, Le Nouvelliste in Trois-Rivières, Le Courrier Sud in Nicolet, La Rive in Sorel-Tracy, L'Action in Joliette...
