SwissVPN works well, except for Shanghai, but maybe it just interfered with the hotel network (7th Heaven Hotel). 5 USD/month. You pay by month, no subscription.

Well, I think the Shangra-La is near the train station, and I'm about 5 minutes away at the Holiday Inn Express. I'm not desperate for anything, since I'll be going back to CP before I leave in a couple of weeks.
I read some reports about some really good massages, that weren't too expensive, and hoped to check that out at a minimum before I leave on Thursday.

They will take you to an apartment for the selection and then off your go. I am pretty sure if you get a number they will also send one to your hotel. For the most part, cute girls, but remember Chinese girls aren't nicknamed "Starfish" for nothing.
Buena suerte!

Posts: 2289I'm in Shenzhen for 5 days to do a bit of business, after a week in CP. I'm in the Luohu area, so if anyone has any interesting tidbits in the area, let me know.

Posts: 58Great area in Shen Zhen off Shen Nan East Rd
WOW!
I am sure you all know about this place already but I dumb lucked into it.
My office booked my hotel room at Gold hotel at 2098 Shen Nan East Rd.
I walked out to get food and water. Directly across the street is a huge market of shops and girls. Alley ways, and shops with girls hustling you to do the deed. 150rmb FS, shower, private room etc. This is way better than most places I have been before. This reminds me of Sha Zui (Sandy Lips) in Shen Zhen where I had been before.
This place I have no idea what it is called. I didnt think I was going to have time to play but this place was perfect and perfectly located.
I think the entrance road off Shen Nan East Rd was called Xiang He Lu. It is super easy to find. Just find that hotel, and go directly across the street, and walk down the closest small road across from the hotel. All the alleys will give away the tell tale red and purple shop light glow.
I have attached a pic of the front of the hotel so you know what to look for. Basically where the camera is shooting from is 20-30 feet from Xiang He Lu.

Hi All,
Google has just been blocked in China. If you have friends (or girlfriends) with Gmail, don't expect to hear from them soon.
To get around this from within China, use a VPN (virtual private network). I use Witopia (dot net).
Good Luck

FE48 try this for no thrill,,, A UK budget airline propose to charge one b.l.o.o.d.y. British-sterling-pound for using the toilet on the plane. That's about 1.60 USD, equivalent to one full load laundry wash.
Now, that is pushing the envelop. Unlike coffee, the LOO is essential.
