I wish they have this here in the US.

They told me a few yr ago it will be accept at the Shenzhen Transit System soon.

This is not entirely true. The Octopus card is fully refundable AFTER 90 days. Otherwise you will lose 50HKD.

This policy was changed once all the mainland Chinese tourists started flooding into Hong Kong. Smart for the Octopus people.

Still it is a good value and very convenient to use the Octopus. Keep the card as a souvenir and use it on your next trip to Hong Kong. Most convenience stores and fast food outlets accept the Octopus card too.

There are some special tourist packages including airport express tickets and single or 3day unlimited travel transportation cards available. It is still hard to spend HKD55 on the MTR in any one day so the tourist cards are not that cheap.

You may return and obtain a refund for a normally functioning Octopus Card at any Customer Service Centre. To be eligible for a refund, the returned card must be in good condition and have a remaining value not exceeding HK$500. If not, your card will be sent to Octopus Cards Limited for further handling. If returning an Octopus Card within three months of its issue date, you will be required to pay a refund handling fee of HK$7.

A refund handling fee of HK$10 will be charged if you return a Personalised Octopus Card. This handling fee will be waived if your card was issued before 1 Nov 2004.

Refunds will not be offered for "Sold" type Octopus Cards.

Not so sure .. all of the YS places I've been to all offer BBBJ and anal is usually a question of asking beforehand (sorry, I usually don't DFK - especially if she's been giving other people BBBJ's!) and AR is usually normal as well. I stayed at the Metropark Hotel (Mongkok) recently and one of the Prince Edward MTR exits was right across the street. Are the Yellow Signs near the hotel?

I went to 37D again today. Had to wait in lobby for 10 min as even the rooms were all full! Waited in room for another 10 min. Was brought one girl instead of a lineup. I too find that service is slipping - less DFK, no anal at all - and some of the girls would be happy to just soap you in the shower for 40 minutes without doing any real work.

Time to start looking for a new place, I think!

I heard that too - but if it happens, will be in new location - the original Fenwick site is still up for lease - the whole block is empty apart from Pacific Coffee. The landlord was (and maybe still is) asking crazy rentals (600K HKD pm).

Was at 37D recently. When I was taken to my room I specifically asked not to be shown any fat girls. The first lineup they brought me was not fat, but none of them were really thin either. I said no, and the mamasan said "good service!" I said NO. mamasan said I'd have to wait 10 minutes.

I said ok and 10 minutes later mamasan brought another girl, just one. She was thin and okay looking. Her name was TeenYii. She was okay but when we got showering and got to business I realized that she didn't have a great attitude. She was a whiner and sort of a slapper and although I think she intended it to be playful, it was just more annoying than anything. I told her to stop. She didn't want to DFK which I've never been refused by a 37D girl. She finally relented though she seemed unhappy about it. She didn't seem enthusiastic about anything. After I DATY I moved in for more DFK and she flat refused. I got pissed and I really considered taking her down and complaining before even finishing and asking for another girl, but that would stretch the limits of my Chinese, plus I didn't know how they'd take it after I'd already been up there 20 minutes.

So I finished the deed in a very routine manner, told her I did not like her at all, and after we went downstairs and the mamasan asked me how she was I mentioned that she was a whiner and didn't provide good service. She said "next time better, ok, see you soon!" Yeah sure ok.

Whatever you do, do not see TeenYi.

I normally don't write up my 37D experiences unless there's really something worth mentioning because the experience is very standard there. But I notice that the quality of service and looks of the girls are slipping lately. Maybe I'm just on a bad run?

About 2 weeks ago I was on the way to the Fuji Bldg when I saw two police vans and about 8 officers out front. They were going into the Fuji Building. I was about to split but then I figured, well maybe I can see what's going on and report it here.

I asked an officer who said they were investigating reports of a loansharking operation in the building. Could have been a lie, maybe they were really busting illegal immigrant WGs. I hung back and had a drink across the street until the police officers left, then went in and went about my business.

Went to Wan Chai last night after LKF. Started of few drinks in Spicy Fingers and then popped into RockSchool. Band really is fantastic but much as I like Rock, there is a limit to how much I can take before getting bored. Still a nice place.

Then went to Trafik. Not sure what time I git there but it was busier then last Friday although still quiet. Then, I dunno what happened or what time it was but suddenly it was absolutely heaving. Probably around midnight.

Colombians were back and some very pretty pinoys and thai's. Was absolutely fantastic. Got chatting to a very pretty pinoy bought few drinks and had a great time with her just chatting and on the dance floor. Took her back. Brilliant. She's still here. Sleeping (it's 12.30PM).

Looks like word is out that Traffik has reinstated the lady drinks. Brilliant. Much prefer it to N2 or Laguna (actually I can't stand Laguna. Girls are so so and the place is grim and unfriendly).

Two sites that used to be good were:

I can not seem to figure Yahoo out anymore. Everything for Hong Kong is in Chinese and the main Yahoo site if you click on personals will only let you search USA and Canada but not Hong Kong.
