Another bar JoinUS, which I had hoped to be the new 'old' Pig and Whistle got invaded by the wrong crowd. However, the previous owner borrowed money from the Mafia and they closed the new owner down (in a day).

If you are looking for the younger Taiwanese girls, under 25 then you'll have to court the KTVs and talking bars. Downtown near the intersection of Chongwha and Wufu is a street called Wenwu. There are many talking bars here, more than 15. They mostly cater to Japanese customers and I've been denied access from a few for that. A major police raid to the Miaoli brothels has almost obliterated the scene. I went there last night and found it dead quiet. Some pimps told me to wait for a couple months. Some brave heart did open their business and raised the price to 1300. The selection was quite limited. Just don't worth the 100KM from Taipei.

Spent the day wandering the streets of Hsinchu near the train station. I was hoping to find a barbershop HJ and massage but there was nothing!! Stuck my head into a couple of back alley hotels where i could have got some action for about $2200NT but that seemed a bit pricey after the south where a half hour massage in a BBS and happy ending can be had for about $600 NT. One place near the zoo was advertising 'special massage' but again it seemed pricey at $2200 - I found the forum here after I got home and decided to see what I could find online; is that really the going rate?
