    Cebu January

    Rooster and Andre,

Thanks for the info on the Marriott. I have points with them as well so money isn't a factor. I'm looking to roll solo down to old Cebu next January. I normally have back-up on an international mission but looks like it won't be so this time. Seems like a favorable place to conduct a single operator mission. However, I find myself constantly thinking about how satisfied I will be with the Filipinas? I've been to DR, CR, Brazil and Mexico and love the latino women and their shapely figures especially along the rear end. Yeah that's what I'm inclined to. From what I understand the Filipinas are a little more shapely than the Thais, but of course don't quite stack up to their latin counterparts. Perhaps there will be a few Filipinas around less scrawny than the one's in some of the pics I've seen. Regardless of that, I'm still willing to take a chance just for the new experience and I do look forward to this much talked about GF experience that the Filipinas supposedly provide. Hopefully, that will make up for the lack of meat on their bones.

    good travels Mortman

    Mortman, happy safe travels.

We enjoyed your front line posted experiences.

    Well done indeed ol chap!

Spinners is a term for a very small chick around 75-90 lbs.

Once impaled on your rod, you can spin them around easily.

Some info reports many of this size in the Cebu area.

    Thank you

At Cebu International awaiting my flight to Qatar. A big public thank you to Nightrider 1 and Spamhog for your help and support, you both helped to make this trip an informed and enjoyable experience. Good Enough and X Man thanks for the compliments, it is a honour to have them from such experienced board members. Good Enough I really wished I had time to meet up for that beer, I shall certainly drop you a line in the future next time I am in Mindanao I would love to visit your home territory in Davao next time.
I have to say that despite the corruption, the poverty, the terrible food and the awful service that you encounter everywhere, Cebu and Mindanao have both found a place in my heart. I have been a life long fan of Thailand but think I am won over at least equally to the Phillipines. I will be lucky enough to retire early in just over a year and though I am not sure about living here permanently (at least not just yet) I hope to spend at least 5-6 months of the year here. Who knows I may even commit the monger's cardinal sin and settle down with a good Pinay once I am here......watch this space!

Thank you Mortman and GE, for you both made an important point.

I liked the way Mortman showed us how to talk diplomatically in order for the girl to "save face." I also liked GE's "Treat her with respect."

Some forum members may criticize me for saying this, but I feel that even brothel workers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. They are human beings.

Treating the freelancer/semi-pro/pro with respect and courtesy is an absolute must. No matter how poor she is, nor how slutty she is, in any culture, a girl feels shame when she has sex for money/gifts. I feel that anything I can do do lessen this shame, and make it seem less like pure "pay for play" will help her feel better and will make for a more mutually enjoyable experience.

In one country, two wh0res on the street approached me and started fishing for my wallet. They changed from "prost1tute role" to "thief role." As such, they did not deserve kindness or respect, and I forcefully shoved them away and yelled.

The grey area is when "good prost1tutes" turn into "bad prost1tutes." One time I had a semi-pro/GF with me on an extended trip. As we reached the furthest point from her home, she sided with total strangers in a con job and showed me total lack of respect and disloyalty. Even though she had turned into a "bad prost1tute" my duty was to return her to her home, (at great inconvenience).

As long as the girl is playing the role of prost1tute/GF/semi-pro, she deserves to be treated with respect and kindness.

I knew I was reasonably safe there and I decided that if they even attempted to approach me, I would just hop in a cab out of harms way. The stand off continued for about 5 minutes and after that they disappeared off down towards Mango Square. Whilst I do not mind going toe to toe with the most hardened lady boys, even if outnumbered, I also do not want to be another gun shot or stabbing statistic in the Phillipines. I guess the moral of this story is to be firm but polite with people....advice I often give out myself but which I failed to heed on this occasion. It was a shame since I wanted to try the bars in Mango Square but I did not want to chance bumping into those ugly mothers again
    Mortman,

Call me a wimp, but I personally would not go toe-to-toe with three ladyboys. Nor would I go toe-to-toe with three of anything. While you are fighting off two, the other one could come around behind you and choke you. Ladyboys are still boys. It is good that you saw them first and that you fled to safety.

Thats very true and I guess it depends on what action you are looking for. The Marriott is (for arguments sake) connected to Ayala Mall thru a pathway.

If you are talking about Mango Bars you are about a 5min Taxi (P50)with no traffic.

Marriott is a good place to go if your not worried about the price. It isn't for the budget monger. You will be well taken care of and no problems bringing in as many girls as you want. Also a very great bartender at the bar next to the lobby. He can help you out with any questions you might have. The Marriott is also connected to Ayalla Mall and is 5 minutes from Mango, where there is action. I have stayed there quite a bit on my first few adventures in Cebu as a result of me having some free nights and then I just stayed because I enjoyed it.

    Peace out!

    Dia

Let's face it, over half the DIA members are scammers of some sort. It's quite natural that no one wants to be scammed but all want their scam to succeed whether it is to get into her pants or to make you part with your money for the baby's formula.

Don't know about Pinays at home but it's whole different thing overseas.
In November I spent 5 days in Manila recruiting skilled people for my project in Qatar. They agree to work for an average of QAR 4,000/m (~$1,100), pay QAR600/m for "bed-space" but wear "branded" jeans and possess the latest cell-phone. None of my business, I know.
The heart-breaking poverty (imagine this - Burger King chic makes P3,000/m, Hyatt's limo r/t to the agent's office P1,400), the things they do just to get to the interview, simply shocking!
Just before the crisis hit banks in Qatar (quite late), we lost over half of those who took off with the bank's money (one guy did QAR350,000). I have no problem with this; banks are fully cognizant of the risks of easy-lending.
Fortunately for me, that brought me to Manila again.

I'm not judging anyone, just reporting my experience.

Typing away, but Due to virtual time lag or whatever, GE posted his message to Mortman before I did.

I don't think my message is so different that GE, but his is much more succinct. I don't want my lengthly message to discourage anyone from reading on to GE's message. It is quoted below....

Many of the new guys who coming here for the first time want "rules:" about how much to pay, how to recognize pro, from semi-pro from "normal;" about how to get her back to the room and about pretty much everything short of the sex act itself. This is understandable I suppose, and would be appropriate in places like Thailand and even Vietnam, where the dividing line between p4p ladies and "others" is fairly distinct. As Mortman so accurately points out however, here in the Philippines, the case is different.

For one thing, Filipinos in general, and young women in particular are often reluctant to confront anything controversial--and money for sex is controversial--directly. This is, above all else, an extraordinarily poor country, and most people need money, but the need gets mingled with equal parts embarrassment and shame, so many girls will not be direct. It's better for all concerned I think--for you and for them--not to obsess about how much you're going to pay, and just to go with the flow. Enjoy the girls' company, take whatever enjoyment you can, and be as generous as possible without crossing the line to ludicrous. The money for the most part, is small change to you and it's a big deal to them, so to agonize about weather to give someone Php1,000 or Php1,500 is inane. Make no mistake however, the need for money is ubiquitous; they will all expect something at the end and they will expect you to understand this need.

Second, regardless of what you may hear, Filipinas are brought up to respect (often to the point of subservience) older people, and they're often somewhat uncomfortable around foreigners since they will almost instinctively assume that a foreigner is somehow superior to them. Though this may seem like (and is) nonsense to us, it's how many of them--especially those from the more rural areas--feel. This sense of insecurity, compounded by the factors cited above, makes it even more difficult for these ladies to discuss money with you. It makes them embarrassed and uncomfortable.

Mortman has already given you a great answer.

My answer is that sometimes you can't differentiate between what is real and what is property for sale. And why should you? Are you interested in a wife?

    I'll assume not.

Even if it is what some people call a FREEBIE, you should try to offer some kind of taxi money or gifts or etc. The pros will ask you to take them to the mall, but I've found that rare outside of the usual p4p destinations.

Or, if we make a day of it, I give her a big amount. She usually will decline. I say, "I'm on holiday and don't want to think about money -- you take care of everything."

At the end of the day, she still has a wad (of money). Sometimes she offers to give it back, sometimes she doesn't. If she doesn't, it is still money well spent. I dislike having to deal with money too much. Let someone else do it for you.

Sometimes I give her taxi fare home, sometimes I give her extra and suggest she come back tomorrow.

Anyway, Byung, if you don't want them to ask for money, make sure they have enough. If you are trying to get complete freebies, I'm disappointed. If you want to find a wife or a girlfriend, things get more complicated.

Like in your last story, you meet them and right away they start fucking you, so is that 100% that they are working girls? I mean, what if you didn't pay them and just said goodbye and just said you'd call them later (or something like that)?

My concern is that when I go around the malls and happen to pick up a girl, and happen to end up back in my room and we fuck, I don't want to finish and then have her asking me for money for the sex. I don't mind paying for it, but how can I distinguish which girls are pros and which are 'real' girls?

If you meet a girl in the mall or on the street and you are back in your hotel within 30 minutes or less and your banging her, it is likely that several of us here have also banged her. Please put something in her hand 500-1000 pesos to help her with her or her families needs. She is NOT banging you because your Brad Pitt or your smooth pickup lines. She has to pay the boarding house or her child needs formula.

SOME will say before they come back that the have a problem and hope you can help them. At that time I tell them what I tip short time and my expectations. If they don't say anything, I tell them, that I can help them a little and then I tell them my expectations. I have had no one turn down my offers of 600 pesos short time and if I am really happy a extra 100 pesos for short time. Everyone asked me when they left, if they had made me happy.

Just a note from the front lines. Having fun in the sun.
