It's very difficult to do, Bubblyjoe, especially if you intend to share a room together when travelling. Many of the hotels in the outback areas are not girlfriendly and furthermore, anyone, local or foreigner, staying at a hotel, must be registered with the local authorities. Consequently, alarm bells with ring if a foreigner is registered in the same room as a local. Even married couples (those who met their Myanmar wives overseas, marry them and return to visit) are given a hard time when travelling outside of Rangoon. Remember Burma is not Thailand and people are not free to do as they wish.

Brief business trip to Yangon or Rangoon or whatever the real name of the place is.

Thailand may be the 'LOS', but this is the 'LOSMGWTMMFDFA' - Land of sullen military goons with too many medals for doing fuck all.

Lu Gyi, my apologies for the late reply. I didn't see your post until today. There's a lady who offers massages under the bridge outside the Panorama Hotel (PM me for her name) who does handjobs. The staff at the Panorama Hotel know about her and she gets bookings from them to provide services for hotel guests in their rooms. I've had her a few times and she does an ok hand job, but if you want a real massage then forget it. She's got no idea! lol! I have just now secured reservations at Panorama (double suite for $35/night) using http://lastminutemyanmar.com/. Reasonably prompt reply (24 - 48 hours) and excellent English comprehension in the resulting e-mails. Although their office is in Yangon their mail server appears to be in Japan - perhaps part of their reliability. They have quite a few other hotels available thru their website.
