this is my first post, but i was at robert's halloween party with my girl and let me tell you, the party was for us!!! wow, we were very skeptical at first about the whole situation but, in the days prior robert and i spoke several times and we told him what we were looking for and man let me tell you, it wound up being more than we ever expected.

I think we need to have an option to have ONE hour service and not being force to pay the minimun 200 USDLL that is a joke for being Colombia. One day notice is typically enough, unless that particular girl ends up being booked that day or is out of town. Sometimes clients call us during the day to book a girl for the same night, that normally works, too, but more notice is better.

If I do try it I doubt it’s just going to be the 4 hour service. I’m more leading towards a 24 hr full day or if I see myself wasting more money than planned might just have to go for the 12 hour. I’ll be down their by myself so that VIP party might be a future thing for next time I get some buddies to come. I’ll only be there only a few days. How much time of a heads up do you need to book a girl?

It is buried on the page, go the more tab, then scroll down to the "even more" tab, you'll find it there. It seemed to be able to make the sentences flow instead of Altavista just interpreting each word now matter how they went together. My two cents, and I'm not a fan of google, they are just one step above apple, but if it works got to give credit.

Thanks for posting this. I agree with you 100%. I think being able to speak Spanish would open up a world of possibilities, not to mention increase the fun you could have with both pros and non-pros alike.

I've been working hard for the past 3-4 months trying to learn Spanish, but unfortunately I still don't feel I can have a real conversation. Or at least not one long enough to flirt and pick-up non-pros. So I'm definitely going to keep working on it.

But for this trip specifically, I'm about out of time and was hoping for some advice. I arrive in Medellin tomorrow and will have to put what little Spanish I do have, to use. I know you recommend chatting on amigos.com, but do you have any other recommendations for how I might be able to maximize my limited Spanish to meet attractive non-pros on the ground in Medellin?

I know ultimately it's a random game and bascially comes down to finding a chica who is patient and/or interested enough to help. But I thought you or the others might have some ideas or locations where my odds of finding this are better.

Also, I'd love any recommendations anyone might have for Spanish schools or tutors in Medellin as well.

I am not an expert on Medellin, but I would say hit the local malls, ask the people at your Hotel etc. And do not be scared to flirt with Chicas 10 or 15 years your junior! It is the norm in Colombia for a Chica to date or marry guys older then them, hell check out www.latinamericancupid.com more then 85% of the Chicas there are looking for guys much older then themselves!

Can a woman 15 years your junior really be interested in you for you? Yes! I view it as a simple trade off, they (latinas) are looking for a better life, which is understandable and we (men) are looking for a better life at home, without the nagging, bitcing and complaining!

Also check out www.Altavista.com an online translator, it sucks to high haven but it will help a little with your Spanish.

Dude it is so easy to hook up with non-pros, when I was traveling there a few years ago every other month I would get hit on at the mall, at the gym, clubs and at the market, I guess the key is to get yourself as much exposure as possible, but do keep yourself safe and aware of your surroundings.

Learn a little Espanol. if you guys do not have the time to take a formal class then do what I did buy some Spanish CD's and listen to them over and over again. The best by far is Rosetta Stone, level one starts at about $250 but if that is out of your budget you can pick up other Spanish CD's for around $20 at Wal Mart, Target, Best Buy etc. The key to learning Espanol is the take your time and start at the beginning with the Alphabet

Other tools that will help you get your Spanish up to par! Watch Spanish Television, this is frustrating as hell at first with you only being able to understand 1 out of 10 words at first but this is a very good tool to help you learn Spanish, besides the Chica'a are really hot and this should motivate your ass to want to learn as much as you can as fast as you can. I even set my GPS unit to Spanish, this really helps with numbers and directions.

Sign up to a site such as WWW.amigos.com find a Chica that speaks fairly good English and practice your Spanish with her, and trust me 9 times out of 10 you will be more then willing to help out a promising prospect. With this method you will learn a lot about the country, the culture the customs and give you some insight of how some Chica's think.

Next, a few months prior to your visit talk to as many Chica's as you can, then weed out the ones that you do not wish to be bothered with. Using this method you should have some tail waiting for you before you hit the ground, and possible avoiding direct p4p!

Avoid at any cost dating services unless you guys have money to burn. Keep in mind the average Colombian makes around $300 per month so if your paying $150 for a few hours in my honest opinion you are out of your mind. I am 47 and I admit that I have not mongered in Colombia in a few years but two years ago I never paid more then 100K for all night long, hell my friend TOM33 is ten years my senior and not half as good looking as I am, but he pays or paid for less then me and trust me the Caliber of the women he gets is as good looking of any of the women that you see here on the Forum. How?

Well he speaks Spanish, knows the game, and lives in Colombia.

Unless you have money to burn, avoid these dating services at all cost, in my honest Opinion it is just a waste of time and money.

Other Senior members that I trust on this board: Tom 33, Hoof Hunter, Ricker, Surfer and Regulr Travlr. Lima Busy and David 33 all have been very helpful in assisting members on how to get more bang for less bucks!!!

If these guys just took the time to learn a little Espanol, they would not only get the GFE, but it would also enable them to venture far from the gringo path and really experience the true flavor of the country IMO!

Good advice on the spanish. Probably the best thing a guy can do is learn as much of the language as he can and keep improving.

Especially with these Colombianas, they just love the love and romance and the pretty words and romantic lines you whisper in their ear.
