I agree. The bars are a delight without all that smoke. But there are bars that turn a blind eye and let the customer take the risk of being fined. I've seen patrons light up in Amazonia and the bouncer heads towards the patron. Patron sees bouncer and stubs out his cigarette, and bouncer does a u turn and heads back towards the door. This is repeated a couple of times during the evening.

Traffic has a few smokers puffing away, and so does Makati. Neptunes allows smokers at the back near the office.

Try Kimberly Road in TST. There's lots of Japanese nightclubs and some Korean stores there. The girls who work the nightclubs live in the Kimberly Road/Austin Ave area and you can sometimes see them heading to work all dolled up.

Its an expensive route. Go to the nightclub, make friends with them, stay till closing time, offer them a meal and take it from there. I know guys who have successfully done this. There's some of the karaoke joints in Causeway Bay too.

Just thought i should add since the last few discussions has been about visas.

Russians from 1st July do not need visa to come to Hong Kong. I guess they get it on arrival.

So i am assuming that a lot of russian girls will be available after June in Hong Hong.

Checked 141's nearby hotel, went to see lily at James S Lee Mansion, 33-35 Carnavon Rd, Kowloon.

Pluses

Sorry, folks. But I didn't divide this up. I'll post on HK and Macau boards, too.

Ok, here goes.

I just spent 15 nights in these four places. I spent the weekends plus or minus a day or so in BKK as I have a friend there who teaches and he was occupied during the week so it worked out well. A little hectic traveling some, but I don't mind that like some folks do.

Oct. 24, 25, 26 I stayed at the Dynasty Grande on Soi 6. I hesitate to recommend it because it will become too popular, but hey, for you guys I will. It's reasonably priced, near the action but not right on top of it and good value for the money I thought. First night went to Soi Cowboy with my friend and his gf. Fist went to Baccara and enjoyed the view, then went to Tilac. I barfined a cutie there and the four of us went to Bangkok Beat on Soi 7/1. I like this place. At first I was disappointed that Absolute 7 was defunct, but Bangkok Beat picked up right were Absolut 7 left off. Great band. In fact, I think there were two. Kind of fun mixing with the freelancers and just regular men and women. Kind of keeps you guessing who is whom and who wants what and for how much? Ha.

To make a long story short, I'm not that much into the go go girls in general. I find them overpriced and most have an attitude. I had decided that my girl was about an 8 and would do 2k for short time.(which I thought was plenty). We got back to the hotel, got naked and she said "I need to talk to you about something". I tend to pick more the spinner types or semi-spinner types. And tend to pick a girl with a sweet personality. It makes the whole exprience so much more enjoyable.

Ok, Tuesday I took the very new van from the Dynasty Grande to the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 in Pattaya. It's a great deal because if you book two nights in Pattaya the van ride is free. The van is brand new. I only had one other guy ride along. The van probabl holds 12 or so.

I met Jack and another guy on Tuesday afternoon and we hit the go gos on Tuesday night. Jack was a great host. We met at the Beer Garden. It's a great venue, but I just think it hasn't caught on. Maybe it's actually a bit too upscale for some of the working girls. I'm not sure. We hit about five go gos. Some very lively "participatory" action. And when we went our separate ways, I bfined a cutie outside one of the last go gos.(can't remember which go go). There was a band playing American music. We stayed about an hour and back to the room. She was 31. But very cute. And very nice. I had this one stay the night. I generally don't do that. And she wanted to see me again and just do a regular date thing. I fully intended to do that, but, well, you know. You have to analyze if it's worth it. I had decided prior to coming back to BKK that I was going to 1. Save a little money and 2. Try this place out. It was a hotel. Well, room two floors above the Boo Sa Bar on Soi 7/1. Only 700 baht a night. Long story short. Picked up a cutie there and after the bar closed took her to the room. And after one session she wanted to go watch the movies with the rest of the girls (most stayed above the bar also). I thought this was hilarious and kind of cute as she came back. Woke me up. And we continued.

Saturday night my buddy and his gf and I went to Tapa's in the Patpong area for Halloween. Nice music. Nice girls. And he had an additional friend along and we ended up hitting it off. But she didn't go with me.

Sunday I flew to Hong Kong. Never been and had a blast. Very efficient city. Took the airport express train to the Central Station and then a short taxi ride to the Empire Hotel. Close to the expat bars and the action.

The bar that had all the action was definitely Neptune's. There were probably 150 freelancers by midnight. Many expats. They all want a lot though. The bars in the Wan chai area are kind of cool because they are just night clubs with bands and the freelance girls hang out there. I'd say they were 60-65% Filipina, 30% Viet, and maybe 10% Thai. I'd say almost zero Chinese girls.

They seem to want US $200 for even short time. The first night I took a Viet. Donated about half that. But I don't particularly like the Viets there. Very mercenary. Always talking about money money money. She talked money all the way back to the hotel, wanted it up front, etc. If she wasnt so cute, I'd have just walked away once we were in the lobby. But. I DIDN'T. LOL.

Second day I made a mistake. I went to the Fuji building instead of H2p's recommendation of Hop Yee Bldg. To me they were both short walks (10 minutes) from the Empire hotel. I'd done some research on Fuji and some Japanese looking guys were in the elevator so I kind of followed them up and got out at the 16th foor. Long story short. She trie to charge me 2000 HK. When I was expecting 500 hkd. Now, she did start and try for a second pop and I let her. So it was partly my fault I suppose. Hey, I thought maybe she just really liked me. LOL. She ended up calling some dude and eh talked to me and said "the girls said you there two hours (it was more like 1 hour) and said you owe here 2000. Well, I gave her 800 and walked out and got in the elevator. I guess she was satisfied. But.

DON'T GO THERE. TAKE H2P'S advice adn go to Hop Yee instead.

I also took a Gray Line tour (I know, I know) but I really enjoy touring as much as the extra curricular wherever I go. Saw the Peak, etc. Etc. Was fun and broke up the time nicely. BTW, Empire hotel is a great location. Close to the subway. In fact, I took the subway at night to the Night Market in Kowloon and bought a bunch of stuff. Highly recommend it. Only about a 10 minute subway ride from HK Island side.

Ok, where was I? So Wed night I went to Macau. I stayed at the Holiday Inn. Took the ferry. Easy. Walked around by the hotel and explored. H2p had recommended East Spa in Waldo Hotel so went there and got prices, etc. And then at 5:00 went back. It was great. Had the cutest China doll type. No English but she knew exactly what to do. Fire and ice, rimming, toe sucking, etc. BJ in shower. You name it. She was great. It was expensive and the massage extras I got from the girls before and after made it cost more. I also had 3 beers, but the food is free and it's pretty good.

I'd also recommend this place. But for a model girl and doing what I did it's about 300 roses. Cut out the beer and massages and maybe you can get it down to 250 or so.

After that I wanted to see some of the hotels so had a cab take me across the bridge to see the Venetian. What a hotel. Worth the ride just to see it. Then I returned adn went throuigh the Lisboa Hotel. Located the racetrack. What a sight seeing the girls walk round and round waiting or a customer. I walked opposite direction from them a few times but they wouldn't make eye contact. I think it maybe be strictly for Chinese dudes. I reported them to the Affirmative Action office. Just kidding folks. There's enough to go around!

So. One of the girls at the East Spa had said D2 and MGM disco were happenning places at night so went to MGM. Wanted to see the hotel anyway. Not much happenning until about 11:30 and then the Filipinas started to come! Long story short. I started talking to a tall 31 year old who kept trying to set me up with her little friends. But you know how it goes. She said she wasn[t a frelancer, but worked as a waitress only for a month. But liked to try and help her younger friends. So anyway. It's kind of the first time I realized that sometime I'm not that into the 20 year olds. Just too green so as the night wore on Sheila and I just hung out. She was 5 ft 7 1/2. About a 7 I supposed. But nice legs and ass, for sure. And just ghe greatest personality. So we ended up back at my room. And man she was hot. Stayed the night. What a nice woman. Seriously.

Well, ferry back to HK. Left way way too early. Back to BKK. For Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and back to the Dynasty Grande. Hung out with my friend at a mall near where he lives. Hit the Beer Garden for Saturday afternoon delight. And found a cutie for a Sunday morning delight before my flight back to SFO. Oh, on Saturday went to Vientiane Kitchen off Sukhumvit. Forgot the soi. Maybe in the 40's? It's Isan food. Be a good "date" place. Performers, etc. Was fun.

Also met with one of you on Sunday morning to swap stories, etc. Not sure if he wants his name mentioned so I won't.

I'm sure I forgot a load of stuff, but hopefully you found the info at least informative if not interesting.

Oh, while I have you. I'm thinking about a February trip. Probably about 11 days and would like to include Laos possibly. Is it possible to spend say 6 days in Thailand and then do 5 in Laos and have it be worthwhile?

Is there time for Vientiane and say Luang Prabang or is just one of these possible and is it best to fly to say Luang Prabang.(I'm assuming for Vietiane maybe I can fly to Udon Thani and then take a taxi there? ). Any advice would be appreciated.

Visited KPressure on my last HK trip ... thanks to members' explicit and accurate directions, its so easy to find.

For a visitor, the service is brilliant ... you get what it says on the box.
