I am in the midst of plotting a pleasure tour in mid-February and have a question about one-way car rentals. Is it possible for a one-way rental and what do companies like Sixt charge for such?

I rent a lot of cars in Germany and to the best of my knowledge, if you notify the rental company in advance that this your plan, there's no dropoff charge FRA- DUS or vice versa from the major rental companies.

SixtI and other discounters may have a different policy.

The reason I ask is that it is less expensive and more convenient to fly into FRA from the US and fly from DUS to where I am going during my trip. It would also make it easier and more timely to visit Oase, Samya, Bernds, etc.

Well I didn't make it to Harem this week. I was planning to go after a business dinner but the dinner ended up taking longer than expected and the wine served was just too good. To top that off, I had an early morning flight the next day. It just didn't make sense to go there for the last 2 hours.

It's still on my "To Do" list...

I did have fun at Bernd's and GT. Will post when things quiet down.

This is quite a bit in advance and I'll make mention of it again when the day draws near, but, having found a flight across the mighty Atlantic for a mere 30,000 airmiles, I'll be Frankfurt bound on the 17th of February, touring the clubs the 18th-21st.

Nothing on land is firm at this point, but I'm open to suggestion, preferring to travel in company to traveling solo. Certainly at least one day in each of Oase and World. Communicate, if you so choose, by PM, please.

BTW, there was a fairly positive post on that thread not long ago. I know the facility from its FKK Arena days and it's pretty nice for a PT. Where did you see those bad reports you mentioned?

I have not seen an explicitly bad report, just reading between the lines here and in the other usual places suggested that it may have gone down market. I don't want to say more, because other peoples' second hand prejudices are frequently unhelpful. I am reasonably familiar with your likes and dislikes over time, so your opinion I would value.

I have thought that the facilities at Arena, and at Atrium, in their past FKK days justified a visit. The problem is that because I don't live nearby, there are always more obvious and reliable choices to be found in the area.
