Jan. 26, 2007 -- An anesthetic spray more than doubles the "lasting" time for men with premature ejaculation, according to a study by the company that makes the experimental spray. The metered-dose, aerosol spray is a mixture of the anesthetics lidocaine and prilocaine. It is spritzed onto the tip of the penis 15 minutes before sex.

Before using the spray, the 54 heterosexual men in the study ejaculated, on average, one minute after vaginal penetration. In the test, on four occasions, half the men used the anesthetic spray 15 minutes before sex, the other half a placebo with no active ingredients.

The men or their partners used a stopwatch to measure the time from vaginal penetration to ejaculation. The results:

Lasting time increased to two minutes or more for 55% of the men who got the spray and 35% of the men who got the placebo.

Lasting time increased to three minutes or more for 40% of the men who got the spray and 13% of the men who got the placebo.

Lasting time increased to four minutes or more for 20% of the men who got the spray and 13% of the men who got the placebo.

On average, men who got the spray lasted 2.4 times longer than those who got the placebo.

The spray is called TEMPE -- topical eutectic mixture for premature ejaculation -- by manufacturer Plethora Solutions Ltd. London, which funded the study.

frenchy , I see that there are many spray out there now. I never did use them. What you posted about the increase to 2 , 3 or 4 minutes does not sound like the best results if you want to take you care of woman too. She nees more time than this to get her rocks off. I suggested Buenos Aires because that´s where I am now, and for a few days more...and I´m experiencing the great variety of mongering alternatives available. I haven´t been to Rio, but have been to Sao Paolo. Brasil is a fairly expensive mongering destination now due to the decline of the dollar against the real. You also have to hassle a visa. I personally detected an anti-american vibe in the Brazilian embassy in Lima when I did the visa paperwork. I have been to Colombia many times and will be back in a month or two. I think that for a beginner, a more "civilized" destination like Argentina would be a better choice. However I had considered recommending Greg´s place in Medellin as an alternative.

IMHO, nobody should consider himself a Latin-American monger unless he has experienced Rio de Janeiro first hand. Actually, IMHO, nothing beats Rio de Janeiro overall, period, not even Thailand.
