I was in Phuket last week, came in a gogo bar late afternoon with a view of getting laid. As soon as I come in, I notice a cutie dancing on stage and make eye contact. But I am not guilty about not paying full amount, is it usual for ladies to extend credit to punters? Or was that just a play to make pay extra (I paid 1500 for both, and of that they paid 100 for condoms, in addition they wanted 500 extra the next day which I never paid). Opinion guys? Did I "steal" from them?

I do not know the answer but they will not refuse a "guest"; the only question is will they charge you a fee for it? Just ask upon check in or (threaten to) change to another hotel if they do. By the way, all the WG's know where to find the many short time hotels in case you need that.

Haven't logged in for a few days as been out at sea and spending time with freebies, a couple of the better things to do around here. But here are some answers to questions from a few of you:

Are there any ATMs in Phuket (Kata, Karon, Patong) that are not charging the 150 baht fee at the moment?

Where can I buy a sim card in Phuket (Patong Beach) and what is the cost off international calls in Thailand per minute.

Loads of places, try 7-11 and go for One2Go / AIS. Best rates IMO. Your Q on international calls is too vague to answer, and you're better off asking when u decide on the SIM card

If you like russians (like I do, I used to have a few Russian girlfriends.

I think you have much better results when you approach them on other occasions than night time. Le meridien resort (between patong and karon) is usually full of russians. But as you might know many russians are quite racist so if you are part asian (darker skinner) hat might not be an advantage.

Great tip! We did meet a few Ruskis in the day and lined up for w/e. If you have any other tips for the actual 'dates' that owuld be helpful. The culture is certainly very different from the sense of humour to expectations and how direct I need to be. Great stuff on Thai girls too even though I haven't seen too many stunners in the shops.

The lesson retaught. Money talks. Next time I will buy a drink, talk with her, tell her exactly what I want and settle on a tip price before the action starts. The reason I didn't do it this time. The entire thing was a little too professional and out of a instruction manual, so I then offered a tip and she wanted 1000. I countered with 500 and we settled on 700. Her attitude completely changed, got my 2nd pop, went on my way and she became very talkative and wanted me to come back.

So it started a bit rough, got a little frustrating, but ended on a good note. I will revisit.

I have been to Phuket about 4 times in the past 1 1/2 years, twice with my family during which there wasn't any opportunity to look for any action.
However, I just came back last night from a golf/monger trip, and here's the report.

DAY 1 : Arrived in the morning from Bangkok, and proceeded straight to Phuket Country Club for one round. It was an absolute disaster as we were totally rained out after just 4 holes. After waiting for quite a bit, the rain seemed to dissipate, so we continued to play, and again it rained cats and dogs. We finally gave up; anybody ever hear the Thai saying that 'never trust the weather and the women in Phuket'?

We left the club and proceeded to check-in at the Metropole Hotel in downtown Phuket, and as everybody was feeling soddend and weary from the rain, we decided to have a traditional massage. Found that the one at the hotel was fully booked, so proceeded to the Royal Thavorn. I decided to choose a younger lady, and regretted it, as her technique was really [CodeWord140] poor, more like using her fingers to poke me, as compared to the firm, continuous pressure of traditional massage. I was in more pain at the end of the session than before I went in!

We came out from the massage feeling hungry, and had dinner at the Laem Hin, which was okay, except that somehow it has become infested with mosquitoes!

After dinner, we made a beeline for Fantasia, a nightclub with karaoke. There were about 30-40 girls available, and we each selected one to take back for the entire night. Cost about Baht 4,000 per girl for the whole night.

My girl was a slim, petite 5ft 2in, about 7/10 in terms of looks. She came with 36-B and I was surprised to learn that she's already 30 years old -- maybe because of her petiteness, she looked about 24 years old to me.

We started with a shower, and brushed our teeth. I was chagrined to smell that she had bad breath, even after brushing her teeth!! I suspect that she has a decaying cavity, and in the process of brushing, worked it up, and hence the odour.

While pumping away, I asked for anal, and said that I will give her an additional 500 baht -- she agreed, but unfortunately, I could not really get the entire shaft in, since she kept moving away. Finally, decided to just stick with the pussy, and finished off there.

Went for dinner up the hill at Tun-ka Restaurant, serving Thai food, and it was simply DELICIOUS!!

After that, we headed for Rome Place Hotel, and checked out the girls on the 4th Floor. There were about 10 girls available, all no older than 23 years. Picked a 19-year old looker, and made an appointment for them to meet us at our hotel at 10.30pm.

We went back to our hotel, and decided to relax at the Lobby Lounge, while waiting for the girls. To our surprise, we found out that the club at the basement had some of the best looking girls we had ever come acros in Phuket, and they were available for take-out to our hotel rooms as well. Jeez ... we had been wasting our time cruising around looking for action at mediocre places! Even though my 19-year old from Rome Place was quite a beauty, she was the only pretty one there, whereas this place was crawling with beauties.


Well, the girls from Rome Place showed up, and I had a pretty good session. She's about 5ft 5 in, with a slim body, and long legs. The entire package looked like a model, as she's a real looker. Yes, the rates for hotels in Phuket can be unreasonably high; I read in a brochure that the rainy season is from May-October, and that from 1st of May, the hotels revise their prices DOWN due to the rainy season. With the amount of rain we were experiencing, I can imagine that it's really no fun if you're there for golf or hanging out by the beach.

In terms of comparing Patong with the area we were hanging out in, I think it's not so crowded as Patong, and less of a tourist rich area; in a sense, seemed more altruistic in terms of a Thai experience. But, different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I was about to give up on Phuket as a monger destination, but the club at the Metropole Hotel really makes me want to return.
