After months of waiting and researching, finally I dropped down to Danok on 19/12/2009 (Saturday). The night before, my friends and I were so excited and we decided to stay awake all night. Nic. Do some Google Earth will ya. He was talking about Danok. Danok is Malaysia. Stamping the passport when crossing the border IMHO is mere formality. MYR is accepted everywhere including the hardware shop where I bought a wrench so one need not bother to do currency exchange thus all puying prices quoted in ringgit. Hatyai is about 45 minutes drive to Danok. You do need to change ringgit to baht in Hatyai.

I stayed 1 night in Danok while in transit to Songkhla. Checked into Oscar – barely 2 star IMHO. After getting some work done walked around Oscar block aimlessly checking out the various "kalaoke" joint. The only criteria for the night is tight body, GFE is not a priority. I hafta say tho if you can't get a puying in Danok you are a certifiable dumb fuck. The town looks like a wholesale market at night.
