Landed last night and made my way to Orchard Towers around 12:30 PM. Found myself at Ipanema, which is always my favorite, but not always the best choice.

Haven't been in here for about a year, but things are generally about the same, other than the fact that the girls are starting at much higher prices. That's not at all a stupid question, my friend. It's a situation many of us find ourselves in.

One option you could consider would be to have a spare hotel card key made up when you check in (I always get three). Then when you find your girl at OT or Brix, and come back in the cab, you give her one key and your room number, and enter the hotel lobby as if you're strangers (maybe through separate doors if the hotel has a very wide frontage, or you go in first and she follows a few minutes later). Then you go to your room, and a few minutes later she uses the card key to get into the lift area and comes up after you.

Assuming the girl is reasonably intelligent and knows what to do with the keycard in the elevator. Seen a few girls pressing all buttons in elevators even when holding a key card and wondering why it doesn't work.

Even better with some of hotel rooms where the keycard needs to be "flashed" over a reader to gain access. That one has clearly stumped a few gals that I've seen on hotle corridors.

One way I get around the elevator key card problem is to ask for 2 keys when I check in. I have never had a problem getting them.
When I have settled on my SYT, I give her the hotel business card with my name and room number on it. I also give her the extra key card. we agree on an arrival time. She has a 30 minute window. If she does not show up, I assume a scam is in process and I go to the desk and claim I lost my key card and need another.
When they issue the new card, it has a new code and the card the SYT is holding will not open my room so no chance of a "strange night visitor".

One last (stupid) question. If I do bring girl back to my husiness hotel (staying at a 4. 5 star hotel in finance area), are hotels girl friendly? Can I have her meet me at my room (so I don't get caught if my coworkers around). In other words, can she enter herself?

Thor's post sums up the situation perfectly. The hotel will generally be helpful and at worst will want to check a girl is legitimately your visitor.

Remember the hotel has other guests and a reputation to maintain, so decent and discreet behaviour by both you and the girl will help, as will Thor's suggestion of not choosing someone too trashy. It wouldn't necessarily be a problem to get a couple of half dressed skanks whose name you couldn't remember into Fullerton, but it would be frowned on a little.

As long as you are respectful of the hotel and other guests the bell staff or reception staff will help you. Asking one of the bell staff to escort a girl to your room is ok, as would be getting reception staff to put the girl in an elevator.

As always choose your girl carefully. If you happen to choose an OT girl who isn't too battle hardened and maybe on her first tour of duty she may be a little nervous, so explain things clearly. Make sure she knows your name and room number and understands the need not to be seen waiting outside your door.

It depends on the hotel. A lot of hotels make you use your room key card to work the elevator. That does sometimes create problems, but in the one of few situations I have encountered with that, they called up to my room and asked if I was expecting a visitor. Once I said it was ok, they put her on the elevator for me.

Otherwise under most circumstances and in most of the major hotels in Singapore, she should be able to go straight on up to the room on her own. I suppose if it is really late, someone may challenge her if she hesitates or really looks trashy, but during normal hours there are always people coming and going.

In Singapore though half the fun is going down to OT and picking your date. Of course then you will have to walk her through the lobby. If you are worried about co-workers, explain the situation to her and just have her follow you.

Just remember that most hotels are very aware of the fact that working girls come and go and do their best to not interfere. However, they do have an obligation to maintain safety and security for their guests and will intervene in any situation they perceive threatens that.

Very good point. And for comfort, you may wish to stock up on condoms in your home base, rather than on your travels. I've had size problems with some (not all) condoms bought in Asia, even international brands. I assume I'm around average size for a western guy.

You won't have a problem with LE in Singapore, either with a FL girl or in any parlour. This is much more of an issue for the girl (working on a visitor pass) or the parlour (providing extra services) than for you.

Hi guys,

I'll be back in SIN next month but I only have 10 hours on the ground before I leave again. I'd like to know what you guys think of a strategy for that night. I'll be coming from East Coast USA so I expect my body clock to be 'awake'.

Rather than spend my tie staring at the departure board at Changi I thought I could fit in some recreation.

My thoughts are:

1. Taxi from airport to Hotel in Orchard Road vicinity. Book online

2. Make way to OT and grab a takeaway for LT. Key point here is I'll be wide awake and negotiating at maybe 2am in the morning. I wonder what the quality will be like then. Any ideas?

3. Back to hotel for the exercise.

4. 7:30am Depart hotel for airport, sleep on flight.

What do you guys think of the quality at OT that time of night. Should I just order room service?

There will be plenty of choices around 2-3am and later. Quality depends on your taste and deteriorates as it get later/earlier. If company is paying for the hotel, I would stay in Orchard, otherwise Geylang can be an option to explore.
