Costalunga is also my favorite hotel in BC. $40 a night is a decent rate and not that far from the mini-strip.

Posts: 4286Good report. From what I remember the gas station on the corner where you make the right to go into Boca Chica (when going east coming from the direction of the airport and santo domingo) should be open 24/7, there is a traffic light there (I believe it is Shell station). I hate when they ask for the money up front, you handled it well, give her 500 pesos, then the rest in the morning.

Posts: 16050Arrived in BC after 1am on Sunday night. The first thing I did was drive near the beach. By this time the police were already clearing everyone out, so I decided to go find a place to lay my head. As I made a right off the street perpendicular to the beach and passed in front of the school I saw a pair of long dark legs. I was sure they belonged to a Haitian. Now I don't dig the Haitians too much but two wingmen took one on two different days in Sosua this past week and they say they had the best experience. So I figured what the hell.
I pulled to a stop and asked where she was going. Then out of the shadows comes her friend, a Dominicana with some big ass titties. I suddenly forgot about the Haitian, but her friend got in the car and off we went.
I didn't have any reservations anywhere so we stopped at El Candil. As I already knew they, like my usual spot Costa Lunga, would be closed for the night. We drove to Mango and she got out to ask how much for a room. The guy told her $70. Was he out of his fucking mind? As we drove off, he yelled at us to come back. I guess he had a cheaper price in mind but he should have stated it from the beginning. Also, right as we were driving, at a place next to Mango a guy opens this garage door and says, "I have rooms here." It looked kind of seedy of I just drove off.
I was running out of gas quick. The fuel light had been on before I arrived in BC. I told the girl that either we find somewhere to stay ASAP or we have to find a gas station that is open. We finally got to Part Time Cabana which is near the Parque Cibernetico. I pulled the car into the garage and inside we went. This place absolutely sucked but what choice did I have. First of all you have to call on the phone when you need them to turn on the water. then it shoots from everywhere but the faucet. Water was literally skeeting from between the tiles on the walls. Also we had to call them to bring us a sheet to use as cover for the night. And the bed was equipped with a total of 1 pillow. No problem with the A/C though. The damage until 8am was 480 pesos.
Before undressing we started the negotiation. I asked her how much for all night. She said 2500. I told her that she had to be joking. I would give her 1000. We finally settled on 1500 until 6am. She wanted the money up front but you know how that goes. I offered 500 up front and the balance in the morning. She was okay with that.
She gave a stellar performance with BBBJ. She really went to town when I introduced her to my toys. It seems that of all the women I was with this time, pro or non-pro, they had never experienced vibrators. After that session I though she was going to try to pay ME.
We drifted off to sleep and she woke me at 6am when it was time for her to leave. I gave her the 1000 balance and let her go on her way. I slept until 9, then I went to get a room at the Costa Lunga.

Want to say that I spent the evening in Boca Chica for the first time Tuesday evening and found two lovely Ebony ladies to take care of me. I must say I felt very safe and had a great time while there. The two ladies were related and had never done a threesome before but when I showed them a $100.00 bill they were willing to take me up on my offer. Being the first time either of them had done a threesome they were a bit apprehensive but had the time of their life, it was a real treat for all three of us, gave them a nice tip and they gave me their phone numbers and asked me to come back, it was awesome and I am planning to go back ASAP. I spend most of my time in Tijuana but found the Boca Chica experience to be a good one and plan to come back again and cannot wait to get there. DR is a great country!

Santiago traffic can be slow too, depends upon the time of day you enter Santiago.
The road from Santiago to Puerto Plata can be slow depending upon how many slow moving trucks are on that road.
I have seen Metro buses going very fast at night.

I saw it over here and it brought back all the memories.
I am talking 10 years ago.
It was a pension back then.
Going to scan in some old pictures.
The place was alive!

Have been reading the whole thread.
Really good stuff.
Should have had it when I was back there.
Way back in 2000, but was with non mongering friends.
Backpacking across the country.
Stayed in this place for 2 nights.
It used to be a cheap pension back then.
In the middle of duarte, remember sitting there at the bar,
And having to fight of this fat ass bully all the time.
Out of curiosity
Is it still there?

Lageplan is map in German, they have a good amusing map of Sosua, with cartoon type pictures and the location of many hotels and restaurants. If you stay at New Garden or any of the other well known hotels, you will not need a rental car. Everything is within walking distance and there are plenty of 125cc motorcycle taxis (motoconchos) that will take you where you want to go within sosua for 25 pesos (less than one dollar).

Search the Sosua threads for a map as I would imagine one exists. Boca Chica is nice for those who have made many trips to the DR and have a regular or two in the Boca Chica area.
And yes, the beach in Sosua is 5 blocks or more away from most hotels.
You won't need a car in Boca Chica and you will not need a car in Sosua. Use buses, taxis, and motoconchos.
Do you have information how to get from Boca Chica to Sosua?
Don't want to confuse you further but did you consider a few nights in Santo Domingo, a few nights in Sosua, and your final night back in Santo Domingo to catch your flight home the next day?
