Dear fellow mongers

First post from a newbie. I was in Kampala late last year and really fell in love with the place. Nice place, lovely and friendly people, Very good vibe and will certainly return.

I did the RTFF and hit Angel Noir and Capitol Pub during my time in Kampala. Capitol pub was an experience. I was more worred about someone cushing my bat#$% than someone pickpoketting me. The place is full of people and not an inch to spare. I danced with a girl from west africa and played pool with some local guys. The girl I found interesting couldn't speak a word of english. After trying to communicate for some time, I gave up the idea and returned to my hotel. There were several other girls and all trying to make contact but decided that it was too late.

Next day went to Angel Noir. There was an entry fee and the placed had great music and a great crowd. Most of the girls seem to be from Makerere university. Danced with several and chatted up a couple of them and got their numbers. One of them was Aat#$% who was very beautiful but didn't plan on coming along as she was with some friends. She gave me her numbers and offered to meet for lunch the next day. Unfortunately I couldn't find time the next day as I had several business meetings. There was another girl I wasnt sure whether she was 'working' and said that she worked at the Casino. Finally found Nat#$%, with whom I had tried hard to make eye contact several times before. She had a lovely face and a body and was studying at Makerere. Bought her couple of drinks and she opened up. We chatted and danced a bit and I invited her back to my room She was very reluctant and finally convinced her to come to my room and have a drink together. She came on condition that she will only stay for 5 min. Anyway finally got her into bed and while she kissed, she really was shy and wouldn't undress. I tried all my tricks and finally got my hand upto the right spot. Eventually she succumbed and allowed me in. When I said good bye she asked me whether I can pay for her boda boda an I gave her 20kUGS. Before she left she said that she loves me. I am not sure whether she is a part timer. She texted and called me few time the next couple of days saying she loved me and wanted to meet me. This was getting a bit annoying and I decided to press the ingore button. I also returned back in two days.

So Kampala is a great place to be in and good for mongering too. My vote goes to Angel Noir over Capitol Pub. Quality over quantity.

Ghana made me like Africa – Uganda made me want to live here. I think Uganda is a more comfortable country to live in, but I do miss the vibrant atmosphere in Ghana though.

Why you mention Ghana? Because you read my other posts? I actually have been in Uganda AND Ghana, and these are my only two experiences in Africa.
I still have to post my report about Accra. It's surely a nice place, but if I can choose I choose Kampala :-)

I particularly liked your report named "Kampala" dated 06-01-09. It's a very informative report and I have to admit that I agree to most of the information you provide. In fact, I have similar experiences. Your report contains extremely useful info for newcomers to Kampala.

I have only been to Rock Garden half a dozen times and I have to admit that it's not really my thing either. The girls are aggressive and expect to be paid very high amounts. However, I can pay 50, 000 if I find her attractive and she stays with me until the next morning so I can come at least thrice.

This one girl in Rock told me 50, 000 and said she was doing me a favor going with me for that price. 50, 000 is not a lot as far as mongering in most countries is concerned, but paying 50, 000 for sex in Uganda is something I rarely do. Most girls (obviously outside Rock Garden and those upmarket hotels) are happy to give you sex as long as you provide food, drinks and generally act polite. Nevertheless, I always give them at least 10,000 for "taxi".

Kampala is truly a paradise, you can have as many girls as you want (of course not any girl you want – some of those sophisticated city girls are picky these days despite the fact that I would consider myself young and handsome). Nevertheless, you will never starve for sex in this town.

I have been living in Kampala for quite some time now, but have never really been mongering because it’s been so easy to meet “normal” girls at the university, in shops, clubs etc. But as you all know, having a regular girlfriend comes with some headaches so I decided to check out Kabalagala a few days ago. You need to bring your own girl there from the mainland. Just pick one up in Kampala before you go. Make sure you test-drive here before going to Kalangala so that you know you get along with her, you definitely don't want a whining ***** or someone who can't fuck properly. Was recently in this "american" club in Muyenga near muyenga club where I chanced upon massage with extras. The place is an interesting joint run by Chinese lady (i think) with a bevy of girls probably 5 to 10 depending on when you go there. It offers sauna, massage, steam bath, hair salon and a restaurant. When I asked for a massage, the attendant told me that the cost of the massage depends on the room in which you have it. Typical local facility; I saw no evidence of Chinese ownership or participation. Posted rates are Ush 15, 000 for 45 minutes; Ush 25, 000 for two hours. Rooms were basic to say the least, but a clean sheet was used. I drew Shamim, who stated she was one of five providers. No line-up offered.

Massage was adequate (5-6 out of ten); Shamim likewise a 5-6. Cute in her way, eager to please. A HE was on offer for an additional $25, with very, very, very liberal roaming allowed; nay, encouraged. I was not interested in FS, but I think it would have been available if reqested. HE was nicely executed.

This was hardly a top of the line establishmnt, but was an enjoyable experience none the less. What is the point of travel if you don't sample the cuisine? Visit took place in daylight hours; I felt quite safe.
