Great although depressing TR about the Zona. Thanks for the heads up about the Chinesca. I would be pleasantly surprised if El Establo is non-smoking. Have you considered trying a MP in Chicali?

I'm all but certain that Bar Establo is non-smoking. I saw a no smoking sign in a photo, and a guy who's been there told me it was non-smoking. Playboy is non-smoking, and the Gato Negro (or something like that) has a no smoking sign outside. I think it's a Mexicali thing. I can't be sure because I've only been in Playboy 2 times for a total of about 20 minutes, and that's the only bar I've been to. The last time I went in there it was dead on a Thursday evening.
