Thanks for all your valuable information so far, I know you told me Mary has no ac, on their site they offer me room for 4 nights 81 $ and room with ac 121 $ with pic of rooms with ac units! Is site just old and they done away with rooms with AC? Did you get to check out all rooms they offer bud? Thanks again for your on the ground reports of that area, also if I like a girl in the bar can I just pay the bar their 50 k take out fee and work time and money out with her to come back to my place.

Hotel Bolivar is listed as a "4 Star" property. (Probably because of the swimming pool). Regardless, this must be a HUGE upgrade from Hotel Mary.

This Hotel is 3.7 Kms from Hotel Mary, a 12 to 14 minute drive max.

How much is the room per night? Is the WiFi stable?

You drove there? Man, that must have been one hell of a long drive! Do you happen to know the numbers of the streets with the bars you mentioned so I can check them out on Google maps? Is there action there in the daytime, or just the evening? Are the chicas mainly walking about or sitting in the bars? 250 chicas, really? DAMN, that's a lot! I heard about all the chicas in Santa Fe, Bogota, but then I went there. The two times I walked through there were max 25 chicas, none of whom I would have touched with a barge pole! I'm also over 6 ft tall, didn't have any problems on my last trip to Colombia. Have read other reviews though saying that the area around the bus station in Cucuta is pretty sketchy. Until what time were you wandering around at night there? Thanks again for your reports and advice !

Yes a 13 hour drive from Medellin to Cucuta, I left Medellin at exactly 4 AM on Friday morning, stopped once for gas fill up and 3 or 4 to take a leak, did not even stop to eat just drove it like I stole it as they say, jajaja.

The 250 chicas include those in all those bars and on the street, of course this is not paradise but I had no problem finding EXACTLY what I liked on both Friday night (the 18 yo in my earlier post photo) and last night (who is next to me right now in my bed as I write this), both todo la noche, both venies, both total GFE, both thin and very very cute with great fun filled attitudes, my first girl was 100 mil and this one 120 mil, and this one here is 120 for 24 hours.

And my Sunday afternoon into the evening observations was that, as expected, the count drops to about half or even a little less than half but like everywhere else if you just have a little patience you will find what suits you.

I was out and about in these, yes sketchy areas, between 6 PM till 1 AM, and yes of course these areas are not for everyone, depending on what your use to. For me centro in Medellin is much more risky, just IMHO.

Besides the street what's the set up like in the bars? Strip clubs? How much to exit.? Are they all venues also? Quality? Thanks.

Here is the set up, I say this from first hand experience as I am writting this from the bed of my hotel room with a venie laying right next to me whom I pulled from one of these bars last night about 10 PM.

The going rate in all of these bars are 35 mil for 30 minutes which includes the chica and a room a door or two from that bar, the EXIT fee, which I paid last night and again this afternoon, as I will keep her until noon tomorrow is 50 mil, this is the rate at all the bars.

I did not even talk money with my girl, again who is laying 15" away as I write this, and she accepted the 120 mil that I handed her at noon today, I then gave her the option that we could part or share the afternoon and night together, so we went to Ventura Mall and ate then returned to my hotel and are just lazy watching TV and relaxing, 30 minutes ago we finished another round, all totally GFE in every respect. I need to write a seperate post about the differences between Colombian and Venezuelan chicas, a very interesting social behavior study.

The bars themselves are more like the one in the Vera in Medellin, if you been to centro, this is fucking cucuta after all so don't be expecting much.

Cucuta has plenty of Hotels. It all depends on your budget and tolerance level.
If you desire more comfort and security, consider Hotel Ibis Cucuta ($29 per night) OR Holiday Inn ($64 per night).
Both these Hotels are towards Centro. Hotel Ibis is 2.5 Kms from Hotel Mary. This is a short 10 minute Taxi ride.

OK last evening I spent 5 or 6 hours trolling all areas of Cucuta, I DROVE HERE from Medellin on Friday as I own my car so this gives me an incredible opportunity to really check out all the areas, I spent hours just in the area a few blocks away from Hotel Mary, there are no less that 15 bars, they remind me a lot of Tijuana Baja California Mexico as that was my playground for 20 plus years when I lived in California.

Just in the area by Hotel Mary, a roughly 4 block area I counted no less than 250 chicas and 95% are Venezuelans. Yes they are all shapes and sizes, you WILL find your type.

As for safety, understand that I am a big guy, 6'-7" and pushing 280 lbs and found that the bad Colombians are not stupid as so they don't bother with hassling me they go for the lame and weak in the bunch, so just keep your senses and don't get drunk or drugs, you will be fine.

Yes the Hotel Mary is absolutely chica friendly, yesterday morning at 11 AM brought a girl through the reception area straight to my room for 3 hours, not one question, period.

It is almost 11 AM siting in my hotel room so I will continue my "recon and research mission" this afternoon into the evening tonight.

BTW, the going rate for short term is 35 mil and I have paid 100 mil for all night (the girl in my photo below) to 120 mil. So guys don't fuck up the P4 P scene here.

This is no shit, this photo is an 18 yo, fresh faced, perfect skin, the face of a high end model, no kids, all natural, I saw her on the street and could hardly believe she was a puta, negotiated 100 mil for todo la noche (10 hours) and GFE, oh she is returning to my hotel for tonight also, jajajaja, god I am a lucky man.

She looks even better in person and the way she dresses reminds me of a high school cheerleader, damn sexy and fun in bed. And this is one example, I got 5 or 6 numbers just last night, all sexy young and cute venies!

I told her that if she could make her way to Medellin she could earn 100 to 200 mil an hour no problem. Were going to a restaraunt tonight, heck I might just grab her and head to the north coast beaches like I did a few weeks back with my 19 yo cotena.

Yes, read my post below on the similarities that these bars have with the ones in Tijuana Mexico.

There is one very plush club south of Cucuta about a 15 minute drive, called Bahia Night Club, during my troll all around Cucuta last night I drove there and spoke to the bouncer and went inside to check the girls and ambiance, it is a very nice club, when your inside you forget that your in fucking Cucuta, it reminds me of the SpirnoRhino Clubs back in LOS Angeles California, very plush, great comfortable areas to lounge around, last night there were 22 chicas, from what I saw I would rate them strong 6+ to a few 8's and even a few 9's, the cost is 150 mil for 30 minutes, they are open Mondays thru Saturday (closed Sunday) from about 7 or 8 PM to 4 AM.

The bouncer was really cool guy, he understood that since I was solo I would have felt out of place, as there were a number of guys but all in groups of 2 to 5, I am not going to be the solo gringo freak of the place so I politely excused myself. And seeing what you can get around the Hotel Mary I would never pay 150 mil for 30 minutes.

I arrived in Cucuta last night about 6 PM, got settled in at Hotel Mary which is located directly across the street from the bus terminal (ie think of where everyone of those venies pass thru) and after a shower I hit the bars and the streets for the next 5 hours.

Great report! I will be there in August. Any reports on the bars / clubs?
