Yeah. Their own description makes one thing that its highly GF. Even the user reviews said that this hotel is certainly not for families and children.

The decent price and walking distance to BTS Nana make it highly desirable to me.

I think I will try email them as you did and see what reply to they give about bringing in girls.

I already emailed the hotel to inquire about their joiner policy. Any information from forum-members in that respect would be welcome of course.
I will answer my own post about the guest-friendliness of Citypoint Hotel by quoting the email I received from them:

Thank you for sent us the email, we would like to inform you for the third party (joiner) we'll not put extra charge on that even register or not. But one room can stay for two persons if you have more than two we'll charge 400 THB/Night include breakfast with extra mattress.
Perhaps if you tell them you don't really need the extra mattress, they will cut you a bargain when you want a threesome?

It looks to be decently priced and well placed.

The funny part is that on Agoda, they have specifically written that no children are allowed in there. All guests must be over 18.
On www.booking.com It says "Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel" and "There is no capacity for extra beds in the room". Indeed the rooms are rather small: only 24 mē. Which is 2 mē larger than the rooms at Citypoint Hotel, but less than what I am used at Citadines.

Both are close to Nana. MS is a little closer to Cowboy but that is where the comparison ends. MG is a four star hotel with a pool, excellent gym and nice breakfast and MS is a one to two star Inn. Lots of review for both places can be found if you search here but MG always have some sweet deals if you book direct or from sites like Agoda or Expedia. Also good to see MG now offering free internet access after years of charging customers for it.

During the time Sofitel was built it was noisy on that side. The only rooms overlooking the traffic are the rooms at the end of the corridors. The noise did not bother me, but I like them as they are quite large. No they don't have a safe in room, but they have lockers in the reception area. I have stayed many times hand have left my laptop in the room. Never had a problem, but that is me.

I personally like the end of the corridor room, and if not available then the rooms opposite the Sofitel side. Aircon is ok (standard issue). I just take out the key, leave the card in the slot to keep the air con running when I leave.

I like it also for it's location. Close to Cowboy, Nana and Thermae. You can go and check it out.
Okie, many thanks for your detailed comments. Will check.

The idea for me was to stay at a place which is kinda between Nana and Cowboy so that I can walk it and should not cost more than 1500-2000 THB per night. Most importantly should be GF.

Would be grateful for any recos? Thanks.

    http://www.booking.com

And that includes access to the gym and the swimming pool.

Some might find the bed rather hard (but I like that). Don't buy the breakfast as that is way overpriced.

And of course it is totally "guest friendly" when you book a 2 person room!
Thanks Wolvenvacht and Breadman, will check out the pictures of the hotels and make the booking. Cheers mates.

Mac Boutique hotel on soi 7

Just booked the Mac Boutique for my May trip for $28 USD per night prepaid including breakfast. Rooms are three times the size of tune hotel. I was planning on going with the grand president but I'll be saving almost 9000 baht just by staying at the Mac.

    Hotels in BKK

A hotel was put into operation perhaps 15 years ago called DMA. It recently joined Ramada and I have seen it advertised in Agoda many

Times. The rooms are reasonably sized and the buffet breakfast is excellent. You should be at the low end of your budget. The hotel is 15 minutes from Soi Cowboy and that costs about 100Bt. I have stayed there about 30 times and have been very happy each time. I am not sure about wifi in the rooms as I always use the free business centre.

The hotel is located in Pratunam which is the terminus for the airport express. A 5 minute taxi ride is required. Next door is the Bangkok

Palace on one side and the Eastin on the other. Book a double and the hotel is very girl friendly.
