I think anyone new to Singapore reading the thread on Singapore Hotels will notice the latest post was in June 2018, so it's expected people might think the information is out of date. Just because someone asks about hotels doesn't mean they didn't RTFF.

Singapore reported cases of local transmission. Including 4 locals, and a Malaysian who had attended a conference in Hyatt Singapore. Things may get tricky soon.

I wonder if the Malaysian attending a conference at the Hyatt also enjoyed some convenient 'room service' from Brix? If so, he'd be the last to admit this of course, but I do wonder how much of a 'vector' places like Brix and OT are.

I've never had an issue at any Hotel in the Orchard area bringing back a girl.

I've never been to Singapore before and have read the posts here but didn't see much about freelancers near Clarke Quay. I'll be staying in a hotel at Liang square and it looks to be near Clarke Quay. Are there freelancers available in this area? Do they all hang out at the bars and night clubs there? There were several posts about a FAMOUS website for Singapore, but I haven't found one that was famous. If some of you Singapore experienced hands can PM me the website, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have found what I call "Le Virus Killer". This works as 100% preventative measure. In other words, if you are infected, it will NOT help you.

BTW, I stayed in 4 star orchard hotel and they took my temperature upon check in. Filipina DH standing there next to me but was not on check in guest list so no need to take her temperature!

Transit thru Singapore for a few days.

4:30 pm arrival and the airport looked empty. Immigrations lines with 1 person in each line. And only 25% of the lines were opened.

If you wanted to avoid crowds this is the time now. All flights from China are banned and soon flights from Hong Kong.

Lucky me met Filipina DH on the flight. Took her for the night before she had to report to duty the next day.
