I am thinking about returning to Tijuana but instead of the quick afternoon visit I did last time, I would stay for maybe two nights at Hotel Cascadas, unless any of you gents think it's better to stay across the street over at Hotel Rizo De Oro instead.

But I'm wondering what the heck should I do there in between sessions with the girls. For you who usually stay in Tijuana for a few nights, what do you usually do with your time there when in between sessions?

Get Creative:

Food.

Shop.

Smoke A Cigar.

Go On Internet.

Have a drink and people watch (outside).

Go to Plaza Rio and have a frozen yogurt.

Get a shoe shine.

See a movie at the VIP cinema.

Get a massage.

Get a Haircut.

Go to the beach

Go to a Xolos (local soccer team) game.

Just a few ideas. Things are cheaper in Tijuana which opens up a lot of doors.

Heading down this Sun or Mon if anyone wants to go or meet up. I'm very familiar but not a regular anymore since I moved out of SD. I love coming back to visit though, LOL. I speak Spanish very well also.

I'm heading down tonight (Friday the 26th) with a buddy that hasn't been down there in years. I've been going fairly frequently for the past year or two. If any of you guys want to meet up, drop me a note. I usually either hang at HK or Adelitas. Say hey if you see me.

I wonder if there is also a difference in how often the police will harass us tourists during the daytime hours compared to night?

Happy to report that there are no issues. I even walked around some places solo away from the zone, of course I blend in easier because I don't stand out like a drunk gringo. So far my luck has been good. No policia yet. Again, I try to blend in.

Jaja. I hear its a jewish tradition here for some reason. Read it on Yahoo. Happy to know that Perla's is open and I am able to get a decent meal. Street vendors are open too.

Will be staying in San Diego Friday for a week. Looking to meet up with a couple guys to show me around Tijuana of where to go and the ropes. That or any tips going alone.

Anyone know if some street carts or places that will be open tomorrow? I'm planning on staying overnight but need to eat. I've been there on Christmas before a couple of years ago but don't remember seeing any street vendors. Guess my dick was more important than my appetite.

So try to stay in a pack even if you are by yourself. I try when I leave, to see if a group of guys are walking in the same direction as me so I walk in their group so I don't get singled out. It mostly happens when they spot someone they know is by themselves. Easier prey. Good luck.

I guess you guys saw the emailed ads offering half-price Penthouse suites at the Hong Kong Club's hotel. Wish I could have taken advantage of that offer. I hope to visit San Diego and Tijuana later in 2015 if I can break away from my responsibilities for 5 days.

I've been to Tijuana only once and it was during an afternoon a few years ago and had no problems while I was there. I was thinking of making a return trip to stay overnight as part of a layover from a Hawaii trip but upon reading reports like this, I'm really getting second thoughts. The local police should be there to protect the people, especially tourists like in many other destinations, even like in Cuba.

But when they start getting so darn corrupt and even towards us tourists, whom the local economy depends on, it's only going to hurt them in the longer run. I think I will forget about Tijuana for now.

I'm going down tonight and staying the whole weekend. It has been happening more frequently because its the holiday season. Of course it happens during the regular days too but I don't hear it as often. They hit people where they know there is no cameras. I try to stay in clubs as much as possible and just go in and out only to go to the corners to get some food. They know that they are more likely to get away with it if there are no cameras. If you come after the holidays, I'm sure your be OK. Plus if your in a group, they don't harrass you because too many witnesses and the clubs will complain about lost revenue. A pair of Tijuana's finest pulled a U turn and waved me over to the kerb. Long story short, while one of these scumbags rifled my wallet in front of me asking me to explain what every card in there was for, the other went through my back pockets, extracted my cash and quickly pocketed a 500 peso note. I kept trying to turn to catch him doing it (I knew he would) but the one in the truck kept telling me to "look at me".
