Did you try out Karma Spa? How was it? I am going to be in the area driving between Cali and AZ and wouldn't mind making a rest stop.

I went last month had a promotion $25 for massage its worth it great looking girls. As for extras uncle benny will treat you for a complete massage and some tacos afterwards. Theres another massage place Black Magic at the hotel.

Across the street from maiu maiu just around the corner from Karma. Again uncle benny will treat you for complete massage great looking girls there. When I went BM had 3 girls that looked fine as hell and bodys to match K had 6 fine looking girls more girls next door type.

Ugh. The memories. Who was that guy who spoke English well and always hooked up the nice girls. But closed?? Last time I was there months ago. He had retired to Florida. End of an era.

I know you old timers like el stablo. But I always enjoyed bar San Diego. There was one girl there from mazatlan who always had the best service.

The San Diego bar is permanently closed in Mexicali. The el Establo Bar is the only similar bar that I know still exist.

A guy I know in San Diego who lives part time in Mexicali said to checkout hotel del Norte. Said the food is good and lots of bars within walking distance. I take it there's no SG scene in Mexicali.

The bars near Hotel del Norte are:

El Gato Negro- This place is like Las Chavelas but the chicas are far lesser quality. I'd rate it about equal to 7 de Copas.

Playboy- This place is seedy. You could probably score some cheap service her in a dark corner. But the chicas are nasty.

La Casona- I dropped by once on a Fri night and there were literally 3 chicas inside. Place is a ghost town.

Miau Miau-Right next to La Mosca. Weekdays are dead. Weekends there will be about 15-18 chicas. A handful I'd rate 7-7.5.

La Mosca- Along with El Nido the best bar in Mexicali. They'll be around 30-40 chicas on a weekend. The problem is the lighting sucks bad. You can barely make out a shadow dancing on stage.

In my opinion it doesn't really matter where you stay in Mexicali because you'll have to Uber around anyway. Hotel del Norte is overpriced and it's really not that close to La Mosca. Slightly nicer hotels can be had for $150 mx less a night.

I'm also a Tijuana regular but have experience in Mexicali as well. Mexicali is not set up like Tijuana where pretty much everything is set up on the same block. If you stay downtown near the border, the area is sketchy. You can walk from Playboy to La Mosca / Miau Miau but the walk is long, comparable from Ticuan to Zona. Gato Negro and La Casona are also downtown but I wouldn't recommend walking around to those places. Mainly because they suck and secondly because its a long walk. With Uber trips costing around $2 I'd definitely take an Uber. There's lots of puta bars spread all over town that you must drive to. There's no way you could reasonably walk from El Nido / Studio 69 to Guau Guau to La Cabanna to El Establo to Aquarius. If you decide to check out Mexicali go on the weekend because weekdays are dead. La Mosca and El Nido are the best bars. Studio 69 is right next to El Nido and Miau Miau is right next to La Mosca. I'll be going again within a month.

Where's a good place to stay in Mexicali that's relatively safe and within walking distance to everything. I'm a regular in Tijuana but have never been to Mexicali. Looking for someplace new to visit. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks! Moe.

There is a small area about half mile from the border with dive bars and cheap hotels, kind of like Articulo 123 in Tijuana. The Playboy club is there.

I found out later she works with the policia who get a piece of her action. This last weekend, she nailed my buddy for 2 tablets she ripped off.

If you're going to check out La Cabaña you might as well poke your head into El Establo. They're on the same side of the same street, Lazaro Cardenas.

Did not go to Mexicali in July but I am going next week for 2 days. Have been mostly in Tijuana. Thanks for the advice I will try Playboy and La Cabana.
