The airlines can't blame it on oil prices. Their as low as they've every been and have been like that for a while now. Airlines are saving billions in fuel costs, but do you think they are passing those savings on to the customers? "Hell no! Fuck you, and that'll be $50 bucks for that extra carry-on", lmao!

YouTube was also a shitty site back then, and it probably would have taken you 4 hrs to upload 5 minutes of video compared to today (hell, you can now do "Live Streaming" on Facebook. Used it last night during a fireworks show).
You also can attribute some of this to pocket-sized photo cameras that started to have video capability built into them (I had a Canon Digital Elph even back as far as 2008).
For mongers: Technology has been both gift and curse. Good in that a guy looking to escape the bullshit AW trap could find all the info he needed to have a good time just a hop, skip, and a jump away online with just a few mouse clicks. Bad in that the proliferation of information has been the fastest its ever been in the history of man with texting and social media. Used to be you could email someone pics of your trip AFTER you got back to the US. Now you can snap a photo of your chica's ass with your cell phone and text it to you buddy in less than 30 seconds. Once the word got out that there was "Nirvana" just across the pond (and pics to prove this), the word spread like wildfire.
You are very much right that mongering used to be an "Old Man's" game. Most young guys (including myself) were oblivious to the DR or even mongering prior to 2008 (real talk, I did not even know the DR existed until '07. A testament to our wonderful school system here in the US). But you bet your ass that once the Feminazi takes the White House there will be even more guys fleeing this cuckhold nation in search of greener pastures. Let's just hope they don't make it illegal for single males to travel to destinations with lax prostitution laws to keep us from "exploiting women".

Hope you are well, but Sosua is no longer a cheap destination to go to. When I started going almost ten years ago flights to POP were 275 usd round trip. Now I can't find anything less than 650 that doesn't have a layover in Miami and I live in Florida. Also the videos portray Sosua at its best as an exotic wonderland. So I can easily see how these guys can be misled if some of the current things are true. Several dynamics could be in play here Sir.
1). Maybe the recent election with the pro tourist candidate winning is causing the smart pretty girls to lay low awaiting the fallout.
2). Maybe guys have fallen for the " I'm a student and I don't want to be in Sosua " line and set the pretty girls up with money allowances to stay away from Sosua. This could possibly move the quality down a notch in Sosua as the big girls seize their opportunity. The cops have no interest in arresting the big girls because they have no desire to fuck them. Or maybe the dudes who have a preference for big girls have cultivated a market.
3). Maybe the turnover for the premium girls is very high thus creating other options. The premium girls will holdout for their price but the big girls will be more reasonable. After drinking for a couple hours in Rumba those big girls with the fun attitude become more desirable.
4). Maybe Mr E and Radshack have devised some diabolical plan to run off all mongers and have Sosua for themselves LOL, which I doubt. These are veteran travelers so I value their observations. Another option is the tourist board is flooding Sosua with ugly fat girls to kill the sex market, which I find funny.
Someone recently reported that during the week the families come out and enjoy Sosua but disappeared when the weekend wolf packs arrive. Our Sosua is in transition and the future is unknown but I still think it's a great place if you hunt in the path less explored. The side bars, Puerto Plata, even Cabarette offer a refreshing change with a side adventure. I've expanded because of the airfare prices and have found the hidden treasures on the other side of the island. I can fly into SDQ for 350 usd round trip and I have a great hotel on the outskirts of Boca Chica with big suites for 40 usd. Not very many mongers over that side to compete with plus you have San Pedro, La Romana, Andres, and Santo Domingo all within an hour bus ride for the girls. Most girls don't mind coming for a visit and what happens after that depends on how you operate.
Hopefully guys will continue reporting about their Sosua adventures good and bad. Isn't that what this board should be about?

I had met a guy who had been there since that Tuesday, and as we were chilling in front of Classicos sipping Santo Libres he would point out the chicas that had arrived the day before fresh off the bus as they walked by. I had snagged a solid 8 (by Sosua standards) chica who had just arrived that day, got her that night and locked her down for TLN the following night because I knew a chica like her was going to be busy once the weekend rolled around.
Sure enough once Friday evening came I don't think there was any point in time that I didn't see her surrounded by a bunch of guys trying to lock her down. Don't remember her name, but I'm sure some of you probably remember seeing her. This was 2010. If she is still hanging around Sosua till this day, that would be disgusting, hahaha. I would imagine that her pussy would be so hollowed out that you could stick your arm in there and not touch the sides :-O

Posts: 3700Camaros SD report. June 2016
Camaro's Santo Domingo excursion.
I ran into a Dominican Cupid chica I liked and I had a Boca Chica and another Santo Domingo chica in que so I made a Santo Domingo excursion from Puerto Plata. I tried to find an apartment on Airbnb but I was unsuccessful in locating anything close to the Malecon and I wanted to be in an area I was familiar with so I found a place at Hotel Shakey.
Hotel Shakey, Santo Domingo.
Hotel Shakey is located on Avenida Pasture in between Avenida George Washington and Avenida Indepencia. It is a good centrally located spot with casas and restaurants within walking distance.
Although this is a hotel the rooms are set up like apartments with a kitchen area, dining room area and living room area with a bedroom and a public bathroom and private bathroom in the master bedroom. The kitchen was cool but there was no conventional oven nor was there a microwave over for heating up your food.
The staff was great although some do not speak English. I did have a few complaints, there is a private garage but it is very small and I have a big SUV so it was difficult to maneuver. The absence of a microwave means you can't heat up leftovers unless you put them on the stove. Finally I got hit with the IBITS tax which after 3 days was pretty steep.
Over all I enjoyed the experience, the location, it was quiet the facility is immaculate and I felt like I was home when I was there.
Pasture 8 Sport Bar & Car Wash.
Pasture 8 Sport Bar & Car Wash is located on Avenida Pasture in between Avenida George Washington and Avenida Indepencia. This is not the typical Dominican car wash where the waitresses are available in fact I did not see any waitresses I only saw waiters. The venue is a hand car wash, bar and sports center. They have pool tables, tables for dominoes and in the back there are batting cages. The music is played on a juke box and I enjoyed the vibe.
There was a very good energy there as if everyone was having fun whether they were playing pool or dominoes. It put me in mind of a good date location for the right chica. As most Dominican car washes they did an excellent job! One thing I can say since I have been living here, there are 2 things Dominicans do well, cut hair and wash cars. LOL! I asked the waiter if they had any potato chips and he responded they had French fries but I neglected to see if there was a menu of other food items.
My car wash experience.
I saw a sexy chic pull in a small compact vehicle not sure the make I think it was a Hyundai. She pulled into a spot for a car wash and walked off. When she came back she sat about 6 seats from me and we made eye contact.
She was dressed down we shared a couple glances so I walked over and chatted her up. Our connection was so- so mas o menos but I had to move quick because her car was ready so I snatched the number. I reached out the next day but nada and I could see she read the message so I blew her off.
At this point my trip is not going well with 1 dingbat who forgot her cedula another mediocre sex session and another chic who only wanted a novio. Go figure. CONYO!
I get back to my hotel room and who messages me? We chat blah blah blah and she agrees to come to the hotel later that evening. She arrives looking and smelling good and we chat. She says she owns her own salon and she just bought the car and I am thinking "Really?" So there is a lull in the conversation and she gives me the gaze. So I am like OK. LOL!
What followed was absolutely incredible! I am touching her body and she sighing and twitching she is very sensuous. We get to the main event and what does this chic do?. WHAT? This chic sticks her thumb in her mouth like she is a little girl. I am stroking this chic while she has her thumb in her mouth and I am wishing I could take a picture to show yall for proof. ROTFL!
We are done and she balls up like a baby with her thumb in her mouth trembling. I am looking at this chic like WTF just happened? I have never I repeat never had anything like that happen in my entire life. We had a great after-glow and I walked her to her car and I hope I can see her again when I return to Santo Domingo. Maybe I should go to the car wash more often. LOL!
Hay algunos Dominicans honestos.
My chics car was parked in front of a food stand so since I was hungry I got something to eat. I keep money in different pockets, this day I had 200 peso notes and 100 peso notes in one pocket and 1000 peso notes in another pocket. My food came to 210 pesos so I put what I thought was a 200 peso note and a 20 peso note on the counter and said "oye caballero" and pointed at the money and walked away.
I am halfway down the street and this guy comes running yelling at me "amigo amigo ven!" I am thinking WTF has happened? Guess what I did? Guess? Apparently I mixed some of my 1000 peso notes with my other money and I left a 1000 peso note and a 20 peso note. The 1000 peso note and the 200 peso note have a different nomenclature but their colors look almost the same especially in the dark.
Frankly he could have kept the money and I would have not known the difference. I gave him the correct amount of money and he gave me back the 1000 peso note and I said "que raro un Dominicano honesto!" and he started laughing. I walked away feeling stupid but happy at the same time. It's good to know there are some honest people in this country.

By Mr E;
Sosua Sucks.
Disclaimer: Last night was Tuesday. If anyone who has been to Sosua in the last month would care to rebuff my report then please step in to do so.
Gogo posted something last week about the politicians saying they will stamp out prostitution in Sosua. Well at this rate they won't have to lift a finger; prostitution in Sosua is going to stamp itself out. I went out to the strip last night at 1 am when my Puerto Plata girl left. (And thank god she came, because if it wasn't for her then I would have had a dry dick last night.) It was an about face from when I was last here Superbowl weekend. The place was on life support last night. But what was left there to keep it alive was killing it faster than anything. There were so many hair hat creatures (and they were trying to touch me, ewww) that I thought I was in Dana Dane's Nightmares video.
Usually when someone comes on ISG and says they couldn't find anyone to fuck in a particular location I think they must have been either high or drunk. But this time I am a total believer. I wouldn't fuck 98% of the chicks who were out last night with Old Kool's dick; and I am probably the least picky monger that I know. The sexiest chick that I saw was a Haitian honey with a fade. Besides her there were 2 chicks sitting inside of Merengue that I would have run through. But every last am one of those other chicks had no business even showing up last night.
There were not many people out at all to begin with. I could have literally parked the car in front of either Clasico or Rumba, but instead I parked at the corner of El Flow. I feel sorry for the guys who already have a trip booked. Good luck brothers. I would say there are more tourists out right now in the daytime than there were monger and hookers out. There are plenty of cars parked on the streets now at 11 am, whereas last night there were hardly any. I'm about to drive my ass back to the milk and honey land of Santo Domingo. Glad I have a car. I won't even look back at this place in the rearview mirror.

I've been keeping up with the Brent Lewis murder case. Brent was an American, and the owner of Perla de sol in Sosua. His female friend and her boyfriend, Frankie Fixit are currently on trial for murder. The case has body parts, Russian mafia and corrupt lawyers. Now frankyfixit has joined the blog to tell his side of the murder for which he is on trial for.
Pm me for the blog link if you are interested but that topic shouldn't be discussed here.

Tempo, I agree with Kerala, as I have been there, but beaches tend not to be clean! And the canals and waterways in Kerala (where the houseboats ply) are also quite unclean. But sunsets are eerily beautiful on the waterways, while on the houseboats. Although no match to pristine beauty of Lahaina and Kaanapali in Maui, IMO.
