Another loss for the USA by the way. Kelly Clarkson was the first loser (2nd) after Kurt Nilsen. So the US broadcasters couldn't take the chance of a 2nd run of the world idol contest. So it got scrapped.

The last time I was there I actually put the Shazam app to identify songs during my whole visit so I was able to find all these Romanian hits and make a Spotify playlist LOL.

Yeah, great voice. But like world Idol Kurt Nilsen (also from norway), she doesn't have the looks. And as Simon Cowell put it, "would be better on the radio."

Unfortunately singers are not singers today. They are put there due to looks 95% of the time.

And that is why Ariana Grande, Zara Larsson and Tove Lo with her nipple flashes on stage pull more crowds at concerts like I saw up close once. And apparently everyone in the crowds were talking about how famous she was from pulling that. And how that was the highlight of the night. LOL!

And can we blame them? Here on a sex forum? And even if they do have fairly good looks, and a great voice. But still refuse to play on sex, they do not get fame. Like Ina Wroldsen who has a measly 266 k subscribers on her Youtube channel and doesn't even get mentioned as the voice on how deep is your love by that American jukeboxer I forgot the name of.

Rihanna's Diamonds was played so many times, especially when a dancer wanted to go up to the pole; Teka lali Shprit by Silva always always reminds me of these clubs. Lately in the last few years, I heard Nicky Jam's Travesuras a whole bunch of times in these clubs. Some Manele songs (I can't remember the words) unfailingly remind me of Oase. One hip-hop by Priscilla called John Dough reminds me of Artemis so much from the 2013/14 period.

It is unclear why a given song is so tied with a specific club memory. I mean, I heard those specific songs by Rihanna and Nicky Jam even before I went to the club, but it may be that I was having a particularly good time or may be I liked a dancer who went up the pole and it created positive memory or what not. I can't analyze it but some songs are so imprinted, when I hear them I immediately think of the club.

For me, Sharks has always been my favourite club, so I look forward to return especially now that the weather is still great.

Their current numbers are about the same as France and Spain's at the peak of the lockdown. Scandinavians are either (1) extremely skilled at isolating themselves and keeping physical distance, or (2) they are so healthy that they can get infected, be asymptomatic, and thus never need to visit a doctor to receive a positive test.

Being Norwegian, I can only confirm that we've always preferred social distancing, even pre-Corona. LOL! But the main reason why we have a low infection and mortality rate is because Norwegians trust the government and apply the social guidelines given without protesting. Most of the infected are also younger, hence the low mortality rate.

Denmark, Norway and Finland is running the same strategy it seems. The reason why you see an increase in Norway and Denmark is linked to partying students when returning after the vacation. I guess Finnish students are more abiding by the rules.
