In my experience Millenium come top in my list. Good spacious rooms, friendly staff. Easy to travel to North, Central and South Jakarta. Totaly guest friendly. Can hold as many girls as in your room, but breakfast only for booked numbers. Jakarta hotels are awesome.
Novotel is having smaller rooms than Millenium and holiday inn. For late night food depend on Grab food. Its fast and pay on delivery. I used grab food even at 3 in the morning.
My over all experience with hotels in Jakarta in my last three visits are top notch.

I tried to book two nights in Holiday inn through Agoda and Hotel. Com on Feb last week for double occupancy. They are showing an extra charge for second person. I double checked it. Same thing. But for Novotel and Millenium its showin as usual before. Do the over booking in Holiday inn is leading for this upselling?
I tried one King bed with two person including breakfast.
Expecting opinion about Novotel and Millenium. An old review by Smoothy on Millenium was not favourable. So little confused.

But to each their own. Where I sleep is very important to me. Clean, comfy bed, good aircon, no cigarette smell, room service, gym, pool and breakfast. Holiday Inn gives all that for $40/ night.

Add extra time to your commute during Peak hours (5 to 8 pm).
The Santika Premier Hayam Wuruk is on the east side. This is a decent hotel and offers good value.
Santika Hotels are located in all major Indonesian cities. This Hotel chain is very popular with local Indonesians.

Posts: 6308The subway construction is still ongoing and as bad as ever. Is there an end in sight? Makes the entire Hayum Wuruk / Gajah Mada corridor a complete mess. Make sure your hotel is on the east side (Hayum Wuruk) of the street if your go to places are Kota Indah, Travel, Classic, Emporium, Kimochi Mabes, Kelapa Gading etc.

I would not stay here even if I am offered a 50% discount.
There are plenty of good options for ALL budgets within 10 to 15 minutes by Taxi.

Posts: 442So, what hotels are best for someone visiting first time for just few days?
I am still a bit confused after reading few pages.
I will be in Jakarta just for few days, this being my first time. Obviously I don't want to be too adventurous right away so was wondering if there are any hotels that are recommended for getting in-calls?
I prefer to have fun either in the hotel room or in a "casa" (Brothel) type place where one can choose from multiple girls but is assured of a safe, non-rushed experience in decent facilities (with showers etc.).
Can some kind souls please guide me in right direction? Thank you.

Posts: 6523I stayed in a smoking room.
It has a powerful ventilation system to suck smoke out of the room, also a window open to outside.

Hello,
Do all the rooms have windows that face the hotel corridor and not the outside?
