Calling human trafficking in Palm Beach County "evil in our midst," State Attorney Dave Aronberg announced Monday that 25 men accused of paying for sex acts at a Jupiter day spa have been formally charged with soliciting a prostitute.

The arrests are among more than 60 in a multiagency crackdown on day spas where authorities allege women who came to the United States from China for what they thought were legitimate jobs in the spas were forced to perform sex acts on clients. They also say the women were largely confined to the spas, eating and sleeping there and often having to surrender their passports.

To date, no one arrested as part of the investigation faces a charge of human trafficking, defined as the soliciting, recruiting or harboring of another person to exploit him or her for labor, domestic servitude or sexual exploitation, although Aronberg said at a news conference on Monday on the steps of the Palm Beach County Courthouse that that situation could change.

"Human trafficking is the business of stealing someone's freedom for profit," said Aronberg, whose office for two years has led a task force that targets human trafficking. "It can happen anywhere, including the peaceful community of Jupiter, Florida. "

The offense of human trafficking charged under Florida Statute Section 787.06 (3), is punishable as a first-degree felony. A first-degree felony is punishable by a state prison term not exceeding 30 years, a fine not exceeding $10,000, or both.

So how come Kraft walked? He used a prostitute no question about it, but he walked because of the incompetence of the police, and the woman who gave Kraft a HJ was not willing to testify against Kraft. I wonder how much Kraft paid her. Whatever she got afterwards was worth it.

As I said before, everyone has their bias. We monger, we're usually going to be sympathetic towards the mongerer. Which causes many to pass judgement when they don't even know one side of the story.

Ultimately it does not matter who is responsible for what laws. As it stands from a mongers perspective, there is a real risk for him to get caught up in a completely consensual situation which morphs into something else. The atmosphere is toxic to men, between the #metoo movement, the millions of unhappy marriages brought on in part by feminism and other such unhealthy female attitudes, the punitive divorce laws, and then the antiquated laws such as the Mann act on the books. The Feds and prosecutors first decide the crime and then find the law to prosecute under, so these things are tools in their toolkit.

Why is it that we all travel abroad for this activity? Simple, the women are fitter, they're more amenable to P4 P, frankly more fun to hang out with, maybe the sex is better, and legally the risks are fewer. The cost maybe a factor for some but certainly not for many others. In my case considering the short stints I go for, and travel inconvenience considered, I certainly do not go for $ costs being lower. It's 100% the other factors mentioned. It's obvious that the US with its unique set of circumstances has become a sexual wasteland. It's not an exaggeration. We all are living walking evidence of it. Looking up the law, there is a provision in there for civil forfeiture. Hell, you do not even have to be convicted of trafficking to have assets seized. So IMO now we know what this is all about and how they are getting the world to buy into it. They want to fleece men traveling abroad and split it up with the locals. That has not happened yet, but I suspect it will.

Actually nobody he mentioned has said anything that anyway "buys into trafficking. " That's just how he is. If he said it's Thursday and you correctly told him it was Monday you would immediately be classified as a communist, a feminist and a threat to humanity. If 45 minutes later he corrected himself and admitted it's Monday, you would still be an enemy of the state and anyone who pointed out the discrepancy would go on his "I hope you die" list.

All I said on the subject is that nobody here has enough information about the case to determine guilt or innocence.
