Hey guys,
The Zip bar is still open every day and the schedule started to work normally open: 22 h:00 close: 03:00 h and it is starting to get a lot of gringos. Friday and Saturday always full of new girls and gringos from Europe.
Covid digital certificate required upon entry.
Wednesday you have the Complexo Armazem open and pumping with call girls.
Outside Fortaleza there is a nightclub called Black Gate very famous around here full of beautiful women.
Forro Mambo is closed.
I'm Portuguese living in Fortaleza, sorry for my English.

Posts: 5Unfortunately John Clayton confirms my opinion, the death of Fortaleza as a city of sex. And this for years, since all clubs in Iracema are closed and in Beira Mar and av. Abolicão there are no more street prostitutes. I warn anyone who plans to go to Fortaleza for sex that the travel money will be thrown in the trash.

Prea is the next town to the east with onshore / sideshore beach break. Tatajuba is just to the west, but apparently the road was too bad for my rental car so I didn't go there. It is on a river mouth, which makes it a better spot. There are rentals and kite schools at all the bigger spots.

1) I drove back through Fortaleza after about a week in the remote WNW with high hopes. As you know, the City used to be a real mongering destination, mostly for Europeans, until about ten years ago. It was centered on Iracema beach and its pier. So I booked what looked to be the closest, decent hotel (with secure parking) to Iracema with the hope that something would be happening or, worst case, I could get an incall. I got to the hotel (hot, tired, fed up with traffic) about 3 pm and they told me, "no visitors". WTF! I said, 'okay, forget about it, I'll go somewhere else', but I'd already paid through Hotels.com or whatever and the refund process looked too difficult. Anyhow, the place was really a dump (with a crappy breakfast, as well), I had a room by the elevator -- don't stay there! I went out on the pier and the sidewalk both at 4 pm and later at 10:30, but didn't see anything resembling P4P. Lot of women dressed like sluts, but I think that's just their normal beachwear.
2) In desperation, I tried to get through to girls with incalls around Beira Mar (the main beachfront road). Seem to be many, many girls with incalls right around there listed Mileroticos and Photoacompanhantes. Long story short, I took an Uber to an apartment building on Avenida da Abolição, expecting a nice apartment and a girl resembling (somewhat) the photo. Instead, I was greeted by two fat working girls in a dark, dingy apartment. I said where is Mary, or whoever it was? They gave me some stupid excuse, said we'll do a threeway for the same price, but my Portuguese is so weak that I couldn't argue. I was also meeting some friends at a nearby churrascuria at eight, so I just went with it. Mistake, horrible, horrible, squalid, horrible. Condom this, 'no amor, not that', etc. I couldn't nut from fucking and when one of them was giving me a HJ, I cut my leg on the sharp edge of the bed -- in sum, the worst. Left feeling ripped off, humiliated, stupid, etc.
3) After a brief sojourn south to Aracati, I went back to the very remote beaches past Jericoacoara. I had turned on Tinder (the free version) just to see what would happen, where I posted a real picture, my real age (late 70's) and something like,"retired northamerican with money looking for fun". Surprisingly, I got some matches even way out there, but it would have required effort and some driving. Also, I was staying in little, intimate, European owned pousadas, not big, anonymous hotels (weren't any), so I couldn't have done anything anyway.
4) I got hurt kiting and decided to bail out early. There were clearly some Tinder based gdps in Jijoca de Jericoacoara, so I tried to stop there to hook up with one of them, but it was a holiday weekend and there were no rooms to be had at all.
5) I returned to Fortaleza a couple of days before my flight and stayed in a posh, anonymous beachfront hotel, Gran Mareiro Hotel (excellent breakfast) on Praia so Futuro. Free Tinder (location based) just lit up. I had at least 30 matches, all with young women, who messaged,'Ol, meu amor. Quando podemos ligar?, etc', which I took as meaning that they were pure GDP. Easily could have brought girls up to the room, but I was too injured and old to make the effort.
So, in sum, a total failure with no real useful information except avoid Hotel Maredomus, use Tinder and don't be as old as I am.

Fortaleza was one of my favorite P4P destinations. Won't be the same somehow, but I guess there's always good friends, great beaches, dunes, cashew nuts (castanhas) and great seafood to be had, as reasons to still visit.

Was hoping to re-visit, Fortaleza, for the P4P action and a bit of nostalgia. But it looks like I may need to re-think the P4P part of the plan.
