Welcome to Cali! A city where stop signs and red lights are merely recommendations after midnight.

First and foremost, I want to thank World Travel 69 for his excellent map and BayBoy for his recommendations. There was very little information that I found, but World Travel 69's map was golden! I always try to update his maps whenever I visit the countries. This trip, it was truly a challenge because there were so many damn places to go. I focused mainly on the clubs, not the casas. In four nights, I never made it to all the clubs, but I really tried DAMMIT!

Logistics:

Flight:
You can get coach flights out of San Diego for around $970 and change.

Logging:
I rented a nice two bedroom apartment on Airbnb for $100 per night. The place was a rooftop penthouse with a jacuzzi and my host was great. It was located in a very nice barrio called Granada.

Weather:
The weather was in the 80's during the day, but the city cooled down nicely after the sun went down; when I do the most damage!.

Money:
The currency is in thousands, which takes a day or two to get used to. Fuck, I hate math! On the average, the rate was 3000 to 1 US. So basically, I just divided by 3 and it seemed to work out. The small bills are a fucking waste of time! For example, the 1000 note is worth 33 pinche cents!

Exchanging dollars:
My host warned me about changing dollars at the bank or western union. He said they offer 10-20% below the official exchange rate. But, I did not want to simply trust my credit cards with the ATMs. Thus, I brought cash and went to one of the banks the second day. What a fucking ordeal! I was in the bank for over an hour, filling out paperwork, and giving them my fingerprints; lesson learned. It took forever and a day to get out of that damn bank!

Getting around town:
I rarely used taxis during my stay. I used one from the airport to the apartment, it costs 60 K. When I was in a hurry, I used a few taxis; they were dirt cheap. Even cheaper, I used Uber most of the time. The first night, I met a taxi driver named Edward. I used him for the four nights. We agreed on an hourly rate. I like having the security of someone waiting for me. Because some of the places I went, most would be scared to get out of the car, no less, enter the place.

Language:
Very few chicas, taxi drivers, and restaurant workers knew how to speak anything but Spanish. I struggled at times, but that was part of the fun of exploring a different country.

Communication:
I have the T-Mobile North American plan. My plan gave me unlimited data at 2 G speed, calls at 20 cents per minute and free texts. Thus, I started using WhatsApp on my regular phone. I started chatting with my apartment host before I left. As long as I had a WiFi signal, WhatsApp was free of charge. I was chatting on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Skype; including video calls for no charge whatsoever.

Where and what I ate in Cali. First off, if you are seeking great chow, Colombia should not be your first stop! I really did not have a lot of time to eat at restaurants; too busy running the streets naked. But there were a few places with decent food:

Il forno. Pasta dish called Sicilana.
El Valencia. Paella with beef, chicken, and ribs.
La Cerveceria. Cordon bleu.
Macarroni's. Lasagna.
Koky. Late night chow, open until 6 AM.

All of the other food I ate was unmemorable.

The Venues:
First off, I'm not a big casa type person. But I was determined to hit every club on the map. However, Colombia decided to have a damn election during my visit. Thus, my last night, Saturday, there were no bars, clubs, or discos operating after 6 PM. It was not a problem because all the girls were not working and were hitting me up on WhatsApp, so I had my favorite of the trip come by for a couple of hours.

I was determined to gather as much information as possible. In each bar / club / venue, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. As each night went on, the more I drank. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me. The fichas were various prices, I am quoting the lowest ficha price.

I don't drink beer or whisky, so in many of the places, I was shit out of luck. Some places offered shots of rum and tequila, which I could live with. Otherwise, I just had a tasty bottle of water; sad, huh? In every place I went, sex onsite and offsite was available. I will mention my favorite places at the end of my club listings. All prices are in thousands. Thus, 20 is twenty thousand.

Before I report on these next clubs, I want to share my thoughts on El Centro. I went during the daylight hours, which was a good call. The area is not for the faint of heart. It's pretty rough and not a place that you would what to walk around, especially if you have blonde hair like me. My Uber driver was hesitant to drop me off in front of Bar La Veinte 1. I told him, don't worry, I'll be fine (I hoped).

As I left Bar La Veinte 1 to go over to Bar La Veinte 2, I asked the security guard where Bar Gardenias was located. It was a few doors down with a blue awning. After I checked out Bar Gardenias, I was walking past the security guard and he asked me where I was going. I told him I was headed to Bar Soreno, which was about a block away.

The security guard told me that it was obvious that I was a gringo and insisted that I should not walk in the area. So, I took a fucking taxi to Bar Soreno, even though the place was just a block away. But, I salute the security guard for being concerned for my safety; it was thoughtful.

The club seemed to close around 8 because all the girls cleared out and when I was outside, the club locked their doors. A called for an Uber and when he arrived, he gave me that look of, "What in the fuck are you doing in El Centro?" We chatted and had a good laugh at my expense.

Edward highly recommended for me not to explore those bars; for safety reasons. I trusted his judgment. I'll let someone else take the plunge on those bars / clubs.

As you can see, I explored as many places as I could. Sometimes trip reports seem like a lot of work, but I had fun gathering information and chatting with the chicas.

Overall thoughts on Cali:
I had a great time! I enjoyed what this city had to offer, especially the chicas. The city was fun to explore and the people were very friendly. I also like the fact that I HAD to speak Spanish to communicate with the chicas. I had a great time exploring and documenting stuff for our community.

Would I ever return to Cali? Fuck yeah!

Great report. My real takeaway is that I did not miss a thing when I was in Cali last year and did not partake in any mongering. I am getting embedded in Medellin. Great girls, UTR type girls who need some economic help, I am talking 50 to 100 mil and they party with me. Life is good and I often say that I should have been born with 3 dicks because I could use them in my adventures in paisa land.

But yeah, no grown man should need another grown man to pay his way, but more importantly, shouldn't be setting someone up to pay his way without his consent. The kid is an addict. And a ringing endorsement for the sage advice to avoid kid guides at all costs.

8/6 "Spazz's rumba".

My first day in Cali and this was Random strip club in Grenada. Dirty, gross, loud music, and loaded with ugly girls. A nutshell for Spazz and everything that he is. - the girl was Manuela, morena, well toned, firm tight flat stomach, wide hips, fake tits but not too big. Chino features Like a Thai "little brown fkng machine. " Very mechanical. It was okay I guess. Cold shower after.

We left and went to another place, Events Liz. Veronica. Sweet face, light skinned, dark hair, Natural tits. All in all not too bad. Did the bottle service with the room and 20 min upstairs. It was aight but nothing to write home about. If Spazz wasn't a part of this it would have been better. And the place is also in a shtty, shady azz part of town.

8/10 - fired Spazz, but the only good thing he ever did was introduce me to Bernie, a driver who turned out to be the best damn reference I can give you for Cali. Ask me for his contact, HIGHLY recommended.

8/11 - went to place called "Flores" - Michelle. Short, an ok body, kinda "fit / fat". Short hair, dyed blonde, college girl. She's deceptively muscly so she is a power fkkr, lots and lots of energy, very active in bed, great personality too.

Something I learned about the scene here in Colombia, the club thing just doesn't do it for me here. I don't speak the language, I'm not into salsa, and they are brilliant atmosphere to burn all your money before you get to the action. Once you're there, its very short time left on the clock. Its meant to be deceptive in order to keep the customer confused and frustrated. The girl is good, but I don't recommend clubs. So I am going to go the more focused route and take their environmental weapons out of the equation. After I found Bernie, I stuck with the option of private delivery and never looked back.

Except I don't think she has the element of wilful or wonton intent to deceive, so it can't be called fraud. 20 yrs old, long natural reddish hair. She's already a good 20 lbs heavier than her photo, and pure blubber, no muscle whatsoever. It is her though because the tatoos match up from the pics. Not only bait 'and switch, she not even intimate. Lots of stalling, she doesn't come around, she doesn't loosen up, doesn't kiss, won't let you near her tits, won't even share a glass of wine, I honestly don't know wtf she's doing in the biz. She doesn't even have enough arm strength for a basic tug. Truly pathetic. So I took care of myself and that was that. Oh, THEN she gets a hang-dog look on her face asking for penetration, . Finally starts getting chatty, stalling when the driver is outside waiting for her. SMH. Pics included so you don't fall for it.

8/15 - 20 yr old venezuelan who shall remain unnamed because this was an actual wholesome, chaperoned milkshake date complete with a walk through the park. She is sooo sweet, so well mannered, well-heeled, feminine and demure. It was an absolute pleasure spending some time with her. American women need to be deeply and profoundly ashamed for who and what they are, absolutely vile by comparison an god damned undeserving.

8/16 - Mariana - 22 yo, stunning. Like a model out of an early 90's music video. Petite, all natural, We don't have girls like this back home anymore.

Very friendly, very very cool chick. I am def going to see her again before I go, but my heart hurts thinking about it. Girls like her are what make Cali worth it. Otherwise this is a pretty boring little town.

8/17 - update, I never saw Mariana again because. I actually ended up meeting someone while I was here an honest to god non-pro! We spent the weekend together.

Election Day is a very slow weekend.

All the bars and liquor stores are closed, but I was able to get wine at my hotel.

I don't know if all hotels will serve alcohol, but you might check it out.

I stayed at the Hotel Gran Real on Avenida 8 norte at Calle 16 norte.

Election day is tomorrow, that's why they want people sober tomorrow!

Well I guess my romp will be one night short. Turns out all bars, discos, and clubs will be closed at 6 PM tonight (Saturday) until Monday. I tried to find the holiday online, no luck.

Either way, I had a good night finding and gathering information last night.

We looked for Super Expostos 2000 last night, and the club changed names to El Faraon, Avenida 2 and #22 and-59.
