I was in GDL over the last weekend, just for a full 2 days, Saturday and Sunday. It was my first time mongering in this city so my expectations were low. After reading a few pages of the forum, I decided to go the agency route.

The first one I tried and reached out to was Joyeux MX. I went to their site and looked at the girls. From an end user experience, it was pretty nice since it gave a description of the girls and the times they're available. One can even reserve one and specify where one is to meet. That being that case I selected a chick I was curious about and made a reservation early Saturday morning. They have an online system where a $500 MXN peso deposit is required ($25 USD) and got a confirmation email saying that everything was set. A few hours after the reservation, however, I was notified that the chick I had requested was not going to be available and whether I'd be interested in one of the other girls. I selected the alternative that I was interested and went about my day.

I booked a Motel in the city and as the agreed upon time approached, I got a WhatsApp message that they were on their way to the indicated location. I got to say, based on posts on the forum, I was surprised that she arrived on time. The girl arrived and it was indeed the girl in the photos. She said since I was a first time client, that money would have to paid upfront, so I did so with no hesitation. After that, it got down to business. I've been coming here regularly since 2019 except during the covid thing. Its amazing how many new condo buildings are under construction. I've read the project informational signs at some construction sites hoping to learn who are the developers / investors but to no avail. Do you have any insight? Mainland Chinese? Latin Americans?

Condo buildings, and most shared office buildings / high risers will be local investment. A clear example that I've seen recently is Margot 1297. I dived a bit through the related investment groups, and came back with a cable provider, a bank, and an airline, all Mexican owned.

I'm unsure about the laws about owning land as a foreigner in Mexico, I think you can but there's restrictions, and that might not be desirable for foreign investment companies to build these kinds of buildings. Don't quote me on that last part.

I will be in CDMX, I will definitely stop by Guadalajara. 1. 15 minutes flight. Quick question, is it worth it to fly to San Salvador (El Salvador) as well? It's only a 2 HR flight to SAL. Other than the most obvious which is Tequila. Here's a few other details about the Jalisco area that make it a strong economic state. Comparable to Monterrey and Mexico city.

Lot's of farmland. Berries, mushrooms, some grains and Limes mostly. But other than Michoacan, it's one of the most fertile areas.

Tech. A lot of tech companies have moved to the metro area of Guadalajara because putting down a big campus in Mexico city is very cost prohibitive. It is known as the Mexican silicon valley.

Culture. Not very business related, but even businessman need to vacation. Guadalajara has some very interesting culture as far as clashed between Spanish, Native, and even Moor influence goes. It is the heart of the Charro culture, and a lot of it is what most people who don't know about Mexico consider the most Mexican.

The convention centre. I travel a lot for work to Guadalajara, and I always try to stay at the Westin. Right in front of it, is a pretty big convention centre, and it's rarely not booked with an event. Some of the bigger ones are usually agriculturally related. But there's also a lot of tech, and the very famous international book faire.
